  • SteveDurrant10 Steve Durrant (@SteveDurrant10) reported from Royston, England

@virginmedia That’s fine to say but every month I have issues

  • SJE1981 Stephen Edwards (@SJE1981) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@virginmedia oh look. More issues. Now my V6 box takes an age when playing TV shows I have recorded. Gives a blank screen then loading symbol.

  • ChrisRandWrites Chris Rand (@ChrisRandWrites) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@virginmedia No problem! Hub 3. Speed just not as hoped. It's some sort of street-to-house issue, acknowledged by a technician on a previous visit. Separate (Google) WiFi is rock solid.

  • GoMcMahon #LITFL (@GoMcMahon) reported from Saint Ives, England

@BBCWatchdog can't believe you placed @virginmedia 4th in your comparison. Their customer service is the WORST! Non-UK based poor phone support, prices forever going up, and rubbish hardware.

  • Mazeda_B Maz (@Mazeda_B) reported from Royston, England

@virginmedia Funny enough that’s the same thing two individuals told me over the phone and made me explain the issue multiple times! @virginmedia clearly don’t value existing customers.

  • GoMcMahon #DocMartin (@GoMcMahon) reported from Saint Ives, England

@virginmedia I've read all the useless help countless times (in the hope that one day you actually include something useful). Yes, I've tried everything, and no it never resolves the issue.

  • Sibby_Sibthorpe Pete Sibthorpe (@Sibby_Sibthorpe) reported from Over, England

@virginmedia why can I never get through to your support team.

  • Sibby_Sibthorpe Pete Sibthorpe (@Sibby_Sibthorpe) reported from Over, England

@virginmedia I have been yes. WiFi service from router. I’ve rebooted several times.

  • Kimberley88 Kimberley Barnard (@Kimberley88) reported from Papworth Everard, England

@virginmedia Thanks rung them got no answers but mostly that it sounds like no one is coming and then got hung up on. This sounds like the beginning of us not having the greatest service afterall

  • k10Aug karen mackintosh (@k10Aug) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@weemazsmith @virginmedia Yes had that & it wasn't until I cancelled everything that I got the DD issue. If you don't want to leave them, ask for disconnection, they have a different attitude, but the issues re connection continued for me xx

  • perscableu perscableu (@perscableu) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@virginmedia They said all their promotions include £35 set up fee, but clearly they're unaware of this promotion which was on for a few days on the VM website. I had to take this issue to here because they don't let me send the screenshot of the website as a proof.

  • Kimberley88 Kimberley Barnard (@Kimberley88) reported from Papworth Everard, England

@virginmedia I was meant to have my virgin media installed back on the 23rd and it didn't happen due to a wayleave. Was told to leave it with you guys and you'd let me know. Its now the 4th October and still no communication from you at all. Very poor service.

  • GoMcMahon #LITFL (@GoMcMahon) reported from Saint Ives, England

@virginmedia I have been a customer for 20yrs, have a minimal service broadband, tv and phone and pay £60/m. There's no match in current bundles. The nearest offer to new customers has more tv, less broadband but costs only £38/m for 12 months then £69 This is just wrong!

  • byron_hinson Byron Hinson (@byron_hinson) reported from Saint Ives, England

@virginmedia Yes says 30 mins again. But the main status site says no issues.

  • k10Aug karen mackintosh (@k10Aug) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@weemazsmith @virginmedia Oh god Maz, I left them 4 yrs ago, nothing but trouble & customer service were always rude & dismissive, I also found they were still taking direct debits for a mobile phone contract 2 months after it was terminated! Bin them!! Xx

  • DrWonkenstein 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Angus🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@DrWonkenstein) reported from Burwell, England

@virginmedia Yes I am, connected to the internet but it barely works and when it does is slow, download speed is 3mbps when it’s normally like 60

  • SJE1981 Stephen Edwards (@SJE1981) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@VoteBrexmas @Beckski93 @virginmedia To be honest, I tried speed running uncharted at the beginning of the year, still not completed it. Being a parent sucks at times.

  • byron_hinson Byron Hinson (@byron_hinson) reported from Saint Ives, England

@virginmedia got problem with less than 1mb download speeds at the moment and service status test of equipment says that there is an issue that’ll be fixed in 30 mins. That was 2 hours ago and no improvement. Area 31

  • ChrisRandWrites Chris Rand (@ChrisRandWrites) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@virginmedia I realise Twitter is not the best place to have this conversation but your online agent couldn't organise any help ("the system won't let me") unless I found someone with a different laptop, so it seems worth a shot.

  • Andrewocd Andrew Maynard (@Andrewocd) reported from Eltisley, England

@JustisMatt @virginmedia @SkyUK You can get out easily. They haven’t performed their side of the contract so they have broken it .

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • BenH2401 Ben (@BenH2401) reported

@virginmedia please help! Supposed to have 200mb download speed but over past 2weeks it has been gradually worsening to a point where am only getting 5 max most of the time. Have done all the online checks, Wi-Fi reboots, etc and nothing fixes it.

  • LynnMSheridan Lynn Sheridan🕷 (@LynnMSheridan) reported

@virginmedia you told us the issue with out internet connection would be resolved by 10.00am then you pushed this back to 2pm. No communication with customers as to why our service has not yet been re-connected! Not good customer relations.

  • simoncentury Simon Century (@simoncentury) reported

@virginmedia Thanks for responding after two days. What happens if I text you? I've been waiting in we chat for 3 days now and have had 10 failed calls to your call centre - all to fix your major errors.

  • JordSedgwickTV JordSedgwickTV (@JordSedgwickTV) reported

@virginmedia Both speeds are affected. I have a engineer coming out but I don’t think it will rectify the problem cause we have had this problem for a long time

  • YoungJambo Jamie Will (@YoungJambo) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia Also, MOST of your customer service representatives are rude and don't know what they're talking about. Did you know one of them told me to dial 150 for CS, even though I clarified that I'm NOT a Virgin Mobile customer? "Yes, yes this still works for you sir." Nope.

  • selmianjos selmi anjos (@selmianjos) reported

What a frustration it is the degrading service @virginmedia is providing in UK or not proving so to speak. Misselling and not listening to customer needs is only a start. They use to care!!!

  • macky80 shaun mcmanus (@macky80) reported

@virginmedia I have called your customer service today, and they have informed me @virginmedia cancelled my appointment- NEVER told me- and now after talking to a ‘manager’ I have got to call back and re-book another appointment- this service is a shambles, 6 days without service 😡

  • EmzyLaw Emma Lawler (@EmzyLaw) reported

@virginmedia literally called you guys 4 times to disconnect my services as you can’t service my new area......this time after holding on for 20min the phone was put down. Please just cancel my contract!!?

  • steviez10 steve zerachy 📱+🚘=❌ (@steviez10) reported

@mouthwaite @virginmedia Talktalk are no better either !. And yet Amazon are brilliant we had a problem with prime and spoke to people in Columbia and Phillipines and all were very helpful and spoke brilliant English and problem sorted.

  • Jamesbri1 James Brierley (@Jamesbri1) reported

@virginmedia It sounds like I’m getting a WiFi issue. Even when I do a speedtest upstairs, it’s pulling 100-108mbps. But when I download things, I don’t get any higher than 10mb/s now. Is this correct or is their a WiFi fault?
