-
Lucid Dream Pictures (@luciddreamphoto) reported from Hitchin, England
@virginmedia I’ll ring your call centre again tomorrow. When I’m paying nearly £65 a month for a service I’m not getting I don’t really feel I should have to post to a online community forum to solve the problem. A Virgin tech should come to my home & fix it!
-
Cheron Phillips🇧🇧 (@Chezzyp68) reported from Stansted Mountfitchet, England
@virginmedia That I still need to have an engineer attend. I keep getting mixed messages! Had to book one for next Saturday. Potentially that could be 2 weeks without a full service
-
Paul Gull (@pgull1975) reported from Saffron Walden, England
@virginmedia I’ve spoken to someone who had previously chased this for me and he is still waiting on confirmation of change to residential property. He did say that once confirmed there could be another two weeks before installation. Will I be compensated for lack of service?
-
Claire Dyer ⚯͛ ⁷ (@cdyer98) reported from Great Shelford, England
@virginmedia internet down in cb22 . system checker says nothing is wrong and fiancé is fast asleep (and knows all the passwords) so can’t get through to report the issue- usual 12.30 drop (5mins ish) happened and then it cut off completely at 4.20am
-
Hollie O'Connor (@Holliejoanne23) reported from Stevenage District, England
Hi @virginmedia I’ve just been on hold for an hour as I need to speak to you on behalf of my Nan who have recently been widowed. Your colleague has just hung up on me mid-conversation. Can somebody call me back please as a matter of urgency, she is a vulnerable customer.
-
stevie hind (@steviehind) reported from Stevenage District, England
@virginmedia Not really sure. All I know is that for some reason in various parts of my house the signal becomes very poor. Whereas it used to be perfect. Hub has been in the same place since I’ve had it.

Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@AdamDea29742908 @virginmedia But buying one between £50 and £200 will probably suit most and if it turns out it doesn’t solve your problems it hasn’t broken the bank. I went for an Asus one at about £120. Netgear is another strong brand. I had poor WiFi for years and it was a massive improvement. 2/2

Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@virginmedia @mouthwaite Hi John; just jumping in on this. You really need to start advising customers properlyit doesn’t matter how many technicians visit it won’t solve the problem of the poor standard router and your default settings.
-
tim (@Claydon8Tim) reported from Hitchin, England
@virginmedia I have been forced to work from home and work internationally. For the past 48hrs your WiFi has been down in Hertfordshire. Completely. Have been unable to work and have thus lost money. Get a costumer service that works or I will take my business elsewhere
-
Cheron Phillips🇧🇧 (@Chezzyp68) reported from Stansted Mountfitchet, England
@virginmedia I have received a virtual engineer call this morning. Apparently there is an issue in the area. There is no notification on the app to say this though.
-
Andrew Morgan (@AndrewMorgan64) reported from Stevenage District, England
@virginmedia the worst customer service I have experienced and what a rude person Sidney was and she would not transfer us to complaint department
-
Lucid Dream Pictures (@luciddreamphoto) reported from Hitchin, England
@virginmedia No known issues on everything (broadband tv & phone)
-
Paul Clayton (@PaulClayton25) reported from Stevenage District, England
@virginmedia loving the great customer services #NOT. No reply to my tweet from this morning! When this issue is repaired I demand a deduction, as this issue looks like it is going to affect my wife’s work tomorrow!
-
tim (@Claydon8Tim) reported from Hitchin, England
@virginmedia Sorry. That’s it. Sorry. Yes I’ve checked and the WiFi is now working. I also checked and I’ll still be billed the full amount for a 2nd rate service that doesn’t in anyway match your glitzy empty advertising campaigns.
-
stevie hind (@steviehind) reported from Stevenage District, England
@virginmedia Yes I have spoken to your tech guys. I have tried everything they suggested to no avail. All they say is I need to pay £5 extra a month for a booster which I think is unfair as I have done nothing to cause this issue
-
Mike Desborough (@mjdes) reported from Stevenage District, England
Hi @virginmedia I have to wait 72 hours to speak to a manager about an issue. This is after 5 hours on the phone to you and only a manager can authorise what I need. Shocking considering the amount of money we pay you. We have no working broadband for a 2 key worker house
-
Maria-Luisa Prezio (@Tranquil_Maria) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@virginmedia The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Changing a minor detail impossible!!!
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@Lindzell_LFC @virginmedia It’s their router. All the calls in the world won’t change the problem. You can buy a new router abs connect it to the Virgin one. Worked for me.
-
Paul Clayton (@PaulClayton25) reported from Stevenage District, England
@virginmedia WiFi isn’t a 100% but tv is working fine. I’m pretty sure that I am paying too much for just WiFi and tv, on my account says I have a phone line which I never had??
-
Chris Belcher (@PC_Lawyer) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@virginmedia broadband down again in SG6 ... makes home working a pretty frustrating experience!

-
Stephen Gatfield-Holmes (@sgatfieldholmes) reported
@virginmedia Yeah that really doesn’t help me or the fact that I am going to have to try and use my phone data to work from due to #VirginMedia incompetence. Half a job Bob seems to have been employed to stick a box on the outside of the house… yet the pre pull isn’t complete? What a joke.
-
Laura (@lolz3181) reported
@virginmedia How are you going to help when 16 different people i have spoken to wont? I just want to make it clear to everyone what a terrible company you are. I am awaiting a response to a complaint. If unsatisfactory i will be in touch with ombudsman
-
Jenny Glass (@Natesmumjen) reported
@virginmedia your app and website are telling me no issues in ox14 5 but the tests say there is one and broadband is intermittent. As there is ‘no issue’ there is no estimated fix time. Any ideas? Thanks
-
LeehamMayoor (@LeehamMayoor) reported
@virginmedia I don't have a working laptop/PC at the moment. I tried getting help on the Virgin Media app the day it started acting up and it said there's a problem with my Internet and to try again in 24, and book an engineer should it not improve which it hasn't.
-
Elona (@Elonashatri) reported
@the_angmo @virginmedia Similar issue, same boat!
-
James McIntosh (@j87tosh) reported
@virginmedia So how do I know what the issue was, and that it won’t happen the next time there is a red button game on but that message appears?
-
matt golding (@SIRGOLDING) reported
@virginmedia This isn’t AT THE MINUTE it’s been like this for years and has never got better I’m afraid. I struggle to see what extra the customer gets from the continued price increases
-
Jennifer Ingram (@Jennife32976642) reported
Really unhappy with @virginmedia cancelled my contract, they keep billing me, keep saying I have to ring them to cancel, I have called twice still to be told I have to ring them, not sure what they don’t understand 🤔
-
sM0k3sT4k (@smokestak) reported
@virginmedia The hub is connected as it’s always been, just today it’s dipped out x3 today. Had to reset/restart manually as diagnostics (your site) said there was no issues. Old superhub was known for this but I’m on 1gbs and new hub has been robust
-
Elona (@Elonashatri) reported
@virginmedia I am trying to raise flags so other people know what they should expect from Virgin Media! Disappointing costumer service! I will of course do the formal complaint.
