@virginmedia 1st issue not being able to change address from 1 property to my new address (new build). 2nd issue trying to speak to someone to cancel our account.

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@StMirrenDaft @virginmedia @mat_fraser One of the key issues is their router. It’s rubbish and has programming which means main signal isn’t direct for WiFi. I had this problem; buy another router and turn Virgin one into modem. It solved my problem.

  • adove109 Aran Dove (@adove109) reported from Stevenage District, England

@virginmedia Hi, so atleast once a week my internet stops working... I’ve done the usual reboot etc. Last time I rang up because I’ve had enough of it, especially with my package going form £28 to £43. When I rang the technician done some kind of reboot to help stop this problem.

  • flissaggie Phyllis Charles (@flissaggie) reported from Luton, England

@virginmedia been trying to speak to someone about my contract been fobbed off ' our system is down' or ' I will call back' still waiting!!!

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia @mouthwaite Hi John; just jumping in on this. You really need to start advising customers properlyit doesn’t matter how many technicians visit it won’t solve the problem of the poor standard router and your default settings.

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@AdamDea29742908 @virginmedia But buying one between £50 and £200 will probably suit most and if it turns out it doesn’t solve your problems it hasn’t broken the bank. I went for an Asus one at about £120. Netgear is another strong brand. I had poor WiFi for years and it was a massive improvement. 2/2

  • Moyraluton Moyra Campbell (@Moyraluton) reported from Luton, England

@virginmedia l have been on the ph for hours all week trying to get though to cancel my contract. I even tried to use the Chat box and no assistant helped me. Your customer service it terrible. I would never use or recommend you to any of my friends. Answer the phone ,

  • mjdes Mike Desborough (@mjdes) reported from Stevenage District, England

Hi @virginmedia I have to wait 72 hours to speak to a manager about an issue. This is after 5 hours on the phone to you and only a manager can authorise what I need. Shocking considering the amount of money we pay you. We have no working broadband for a 2 key worker house

  • randellauk82 Ashley (@randellauk82) reported from Luton, England

@virginmedia so I’ve had three weeks of hub issues 3 engineers out I tell you how to fix the issue but ignored 3rd manager to promise call backs and got nothing had 3 days wasted of my time and down service. Getting very 😡 when big companys disrespect their long term customers

  • sarahcoysgabb sarah gabb (@sarahcoysgabb) reported from Broxbourne District, England

@virginmedia can someone in the tech team please dm me as I have had no internet stability now for 2 months and no human is answering the phone not good when homeschooling

  • mrmarkgale Mark Gale (@mrmarkgale) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England

@virginmedia Honestly, do you think 2.92mb when I'm paying for 500mb is acceptable. Been a customer for 20 years, I can't wait to leave you!

  • LisaYidetteWHL Lisa 😺🛍⚽️💃💅✌🥦🥕🌽 (@LisaYidetteWHL) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England

More **** with @Virginmedia - Paying well over £100 a month and now can't get any internet connection and cannot work from home! So I will not be paid. After hanging on for an eternity they say 3 days till a new hub can be sent out! Disgrace. That won't pay my bills 😡😡😡

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@Lindzell_LFC @virginmedia It’s their router. All the calls in the world won’t change the problem. You can buy a new router abs connect it to the Virgin one. Worked for me.

  • andyjeffries Andy Jeffries (@andyjeffries) reported from Stevenage District, England

Better get your refund chequebook out tomorrow @virginmedia ! #ufc257 PPV down!!!

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia You do realise that the majority of messages sent to you are people complaining that your Wi-Fi is very poor? So perhaps concentrate on that for existing clients rather than pushing new sales? Poor router is the issue. #slowerfaraway

  • LisaKathryn5 Lisa Kathryn (@LisaKathryn5) reported from St Albans, England

@virginmedia is on demand down for the night? Several reboots, called 150 , robot voice ran the so called check and said all was ok. V217 code brings up ‘contact us’ error on the ‘brilliant’ new app. Please advise

  • AndrewMorgan64 Andrew Morgan (@AndrewMorgan64) reported from Stevenage District, England

@virginmedia the worst customer service I have experienced and what a rude person Sidney was and she would not transfer us to complaint department

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@VisctFishpond @virginmedia I had similar problems to you; got the runaround from Virgin. Lots of research done and the issue is almost certainly the router. You can buy a third-party router and turn the virgin router into a modem. Solved all my problems. Worth a try.

  • Dan_lutonbear dan@randrhotrodimports (@Dan_lutonbear) reported from Luton, England

@virginmedia do you actually have humans employed at your call centres ? After spending a total of 6 hours going from one recorded message to a automated line I have given up. I have absolutely had enough of your lack of customer service poor service poor quality broadband

  • Jimbob_Du james Dunn (@Jimbob_Du) reported from Hoddesdon, England

@virginmedia I received a phone call from a man , Jacob Smith purporting to be from your security department. He told me my internet had been hacked by someone in the USA. He refused any contact details after he told me to download a Quick Support app. He phoned 01606863673.
