    @AdamDea29742908 @virginmedia But buying one between £50 and £200 will probably suit most and if it turns out it doesn’t solve your problems it hasn’t broken the bank. I went for an Asus one at about £120. Netgear is another strong brand. I had poor WiFi for years and it was a massive improvement. 2/2

    @Lindzell_LFC @virginmedia It’s their router. All the calls in the world won’t change the problem. You can buy a new router abs connect it to the Virgin one. Worked for me.

    @virginmedia so I’ve had three weeks of hub issues 3 engineers out I tell you how to fix the issue but ignored 3rd manager to promise call backs and got nothing had 3 days wasted of my time and down service. Getting very 😡 when big companys disrespect their long term customers

    @virginmedia do you actually have humans employed at your call centres ? After spending a total of 6 hours going from one recorded message to a automated line I have given up. I have absolutely had enough of your lack of customer service poor service poor quality broadband

    @StMirrenDaft @virginmedia @mat_fraser One of the key issues is their router. It’s rubbish and has programming which means main signal isn’t direct for WiFi. I had this problem; buy another router and turn Virgin one into modem. It solved my problem.

    @virginmedia @mouthwaite Hi John; just jumping in on this. You really need to start advising customers properlyit doesn’t matter how many technicians visit it won’t solve the problem of the poor standard router and your default settings.

    @VisctFishpond @virginmedia I had similar problems to you; got the runaround from Virgin. Lots of research done and the issue is almost certainly the router. You can buy a third-party router and turn the virgin router into a modem. Solved all my problems. Worth a try.

    Hi @virginmedia I have to wait 72 hours to speak to a manager about an issue. This is after 5 hours on the phone to you and only a manager can authorise what I need. Shocking considering the amount of money we pay you. We have no working broadband for a 2 key worker house

    @virginmedia WiFi isn’t a 100% but tv is working fine. I’m pretty sure that I am paying too much for just WiFi and tv, on my account says I have a phone line which I never had??

    More **** with @Virginmedia - Paying well over £100 a month and now can't get any internet connection and cannot work from home! So I will not be paid. After hanging on for an eternity they say 3 days till a new hub can be sent out! Disgrace. That won't pay my bills 😡😡😡

    @virginmedia Hub which they said will take 3 days!! 🙄🙈😡 I have had a catalogue of issues with Virgin over the years. I expect some recompense & I don't mean the '£8 after 48 hours has passed' insult I was told today. Been with Virgin since you took over NTL. Where's the customer loyalty?

    @virginmedia That’s not good enough though is it. I have been on @virginmedia #virginmedia chat again today and again promised it would be resolved in 24hrs. It never is though. I did telephone but the refunds department was having tech issues and got cut off. I am bitterly disappointed…

    @virginmedia Well for security reasons I am unhappy about sharing too many details publicly. The ticket number I was given is P010921745. It should all be on there. In summary, there should now be one name on the account, one login, and one e-mail address.

    @virginmedia Your customer experience is beyond poor, it's shocking. I spoke to someone who could not help me and would not even take the IT ticket number to escalate. I now honestly don't know what I can do to get this resolved. I'm going to suggest the account holder closes the account.

    @virginmedia Well it won’t be will it because that has been promised on 2 previous occasions, not delivered! @virginmedia #virginmedia are a tech company yet they can’t apply a credit note immediately? customer service is resolution when things go wrong and you are incompetent and incapable!
