@RogerProtzBeer @virginmedia It means you're with a **** ISP Roger! Try the Martin Lewis website tool for switching. Many offer better service and at a lower cost. Virgin get consistently poor reviews-spend all their time/money on silly tv ads rather than customer service.

@virginmedia The last info was turn the router off and on. Prior to that, I was told I'd receive a call at 1pm Tuesday. Also told an an engineer is coming out, but I've not been told when. The reason I need the phone line is so my elderly mother can make emergency calls, when I'm not here.
