@virginmedia I have. How do you expect me to work today & tomorrow if the engineer can only come on Tuesday evening? And why doesn’t your customer service centre pick up the calls? I spent about 3 hours yesterday trying to self-diagnose the problem and waiting for someone to pick up the phone
-
Nadeem S. Hassam (@nadeemshassam) reported from Hillingdon, England
.@virginmedia let me do your job and help you. Someone is flipping a switch at 11pm and turning the internet and TV off in the UB3 area. Come 8.30am, it comes back up. Then at around 3pm or 4pm, goes down again and then comes back up after 20 mins. Does this show you a pattern?
-
Ola Agbaimoni (@OlaAgbaimoni) reported from London, England
@virginmedia Wow I’m shocked. Clearly a lot of people will have gadgets that can only support 2Ghz which was available as a separate SIDD on the hub 3. If you were not going to support it you owed customers forewarning of this fact.

Michael Kamen (@makamen) reported from Watford, England

BREAKING NEWS: First hand account from a @virginmedia engineer, who is told by his superiors to turn off the Internet between 11pm and 8.30am as they don’t work overnight as well as most of weekend. Overtime payment issues. Hundreds affected. Issue is due to electric company
-
Scott McNicholas (@SMCPT) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England
So @virginmedia can’t honour the upgrade offer they’ve made and the subsequent order I have placed. So from trying to upgrade to now cancelling our existing package altogether as a result. Poor customer service

@jayrayner1 @virginmedia If the service isn’t down in the area then the fault could simply be resolved by restarting the hub. I guess you’ve done that already?
-
Nadeem S. Hassam (@nadeemshassam) reported from Hillingdon, England
@virginmedia sounds like someone starting a shift and leaving a shift and in between taking a break. HELLO?!?!?!? Isn’t this what you should be doing, trying to identify the source of problem??? #virginmediadown
-
Nadeem S. Hassam (@nadeemshassam) reported from Hillingdon, England
@virginmedia In addition, when will it be fixed for good? If you don’t want your customers up in arms, be transparent, honest and say what the problem is and relay and exact date. No canned responses!!!

@virginmedia It’s NOT ONLY happening to me. There are many people in the Heathrow area (hope that suffices) for a start, that have this issue. I’ve given up on your app and customer service as we are not trying to understand our issue or the frequency of it. You just want to close your ticket
-
Mark Britnell (@markbritnell) reported from Richmond, England
@virginmedia As I said yesterday, all internet, TV and media down. Called you twice for over an hour and a half yesterday but no reply. Terrible service. Have work to do! Booked engineer but they can’t come until Tuesday evening. Can you call me?

Gilly (@gillian_h_79) reported
@virginmedia A £55 price rise! She’s a 76 year old pensioner and didn’t ask for that change and cannot afford that change. And has recently been without a phone line, tv or broadband for 5 days due to the outage in BB3. This is the straw that has literally broken her.
-
Adanan Khan (@AdananKhan47) reported
@virginmedia This started on Thursday morning, at the time your service status page said there was an issue in my area and an engineer was working on it. Apparently it was resolved by 3pm on Thursday but my connection issues are still present.
-
Rob McEwan (@robmcewan1966) reported from Finchampstead, England
@virginmedia Truly astounding. I have spent hours trying to get virgin to actually carry out promises made and we’re still not there. I’ll swear the customer services reps I speak to are under so much pressure to move on to the next call they make it up as they go.
-
Jenb31 (@jabs673) reported
@virginmedia Splitter been replaced twice, engineer said hub is probably faulty but not replaced. When broadband goes, house phone goes down too. virgin can send engineer in five days. So no tv, broadband or phone. Resetting hub gives connection but drops out 20mins later.
-
Peter Monaghan Esq (@monaghanpj) reported
Does anyone in my network use a wireless broadband set up (4G/5G) to cover their home? Ideally upstairs/downstairs, TV, Hive, occasional Zoom etc, nothing too elaborate. If so who do you use and how is it going? Virgin Media are doing my head in, need to change rapidly.
-
Adanan Khan (@AdananKhan47) reported
@virginmedia I've called 10 times over the past 2 days and everyone I have spoken to has been pretty useless. One claimed the issues in my area are still being worked on and will not be resolved until 12pm on Monday, even though the public service status page states there are no issues
-
anjor | anjor.eth (@anjor_pl) reported
@virginmedia I still don't have service btw.
-
Mike de S (@Mike_de_S) reported
@virginmedia The issue isn’t the point, Yodel did turn up about 28 hours late; the point is being unable to access customer support for 4 hours. What’s causing this “unprecedented demand” for customer support?
-
Mase (@Mase_81) reported
@virginmedia yo VM, do you have an email address I can contact customer services with? Ta.
-
Ryan Aspinall (@IRyanofficial) reported
@virginmedia So because of virgins muck up we are left with nothing damage to our property and they are not gonna do anything for 2 weeks and we are paying for it well isn’t that just great think it’s time for a change of provider this is disgusting
