    @virginmedia The issue has been random and, with typical timing, I can’t find it right now so I guess you can’t help.

  • 848Jake Jake Kirby (@848Jake) reported from Toddington, England

    @virginmedia Not sure@of the model name - barcode on the back has two numbers C8 1862094XCCFRVD and M: 24374C4F1E0F - does that help you ?

  • Mikeedpembo MikeP (@Mikeedpembo) reported from Luton, England

    Hi @virginmedia , are your customer service phonelines not working today? Seem either engaged or number unobtainable?

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

    @StMirrenDaft @virginmedia @mat_fraser One of the key issues is their router. It’s rubbish and has programming which means main signal isn’t direct for WiFi. I had this problem; buy another router and turn Virgin one into modem. It solved my problem.

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

    @AdamDea29742908 @virginmedia But buying one between £50 and £200 will probably suit most and if it turns out it doesn’t solve your problems it hasn’t broken the bank. I went for an Asus one at about £120. Netgear is another strong brand. I had poor WiFi for years and it was a massive improvement. 2/2

  • 848Jake Jake Kirby (@848Jake) reported from Toddington, England

    @virginmedia We have been trying to contact you for 3 days for a replacement TiVo box. No answer on the telephone and online chat will not help us - not what I’d call Customer Service

  • drjawor Michał Jawornik (@drjawor) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

    @virginmedia But it’s not working.

  • Moyraluton Moyra Campbell (@Moyraluton) reported from Luton, England

    @virginmedia l have been on the ph for hours all week trying to get though to cancel my contract. I even tried to use the Chat box and no assistant helped me. Your customer service it terrible. I would never use or recommend you to any of my friends. Answer the phone ,

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

    @Lindzell_LFC @virginmedia It’s their router. All the calls in the world won’t change the problem. You can buy a new router abs connect it to the Virgin one. Worked for me.

  • TMITV19 Let's get back to normal #KBF (@TMITV19) reported from Bedford, England

    @virginmedia *poor

  • TMITV19 Let's get back to normal #KBF (@TMITV19) reported from Bedford, England

    @virginmedia Yes after a phone call. Now I'm actively looking into moving to @skytv after the poor service.

  • SusanBailey63 Susan Bailey (@SusanBailey63) reported from Stevenage District, England

    @virginmedia what do I have to do to actually be able to communicate with you? Been trying since the beginning of January to no avail - calls unanswered, messages and emails ignored. If I cancel my direct debit today maybe you’ll soon respond 😡

  • TMITV19 Let's get back to normal #KBF (@TMITV19) reported from Bedford, England

    @virginmedia Eventually I looked at my phone and saw that they'd replied after 3 hours. I saw it half an hour later and replied but they then weren't talking to me. The next day I called up and got through after 3 minutes. Using covid as an excuse for poor service is awful.

  • adove109 Aran Dove (@adove109) reported from Stevenage District, England

    @virginmedia Hi, so atleast once a week my internet stops working... I’ve done the usual reboot etc. Last time I rang up because I’ve had enough of it, especially with my package going form £28 to £43. When I rang the technician done some kind of reboot to help stop this problem.

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

    @VisctFishpond @virginmedia I had similar problems to you; got the runaround from Virgin. Lots of research done and the issue is almost certainly the router. You can buy a third-party router and turn the virgin router into a modem. Solved all my problems. Worth a try.

  • TMITV19 Let's get back to normal #KBF (@TMITV19) reported from Bedford, England

    @virginmedia The outcome of the call was what I wanted. I mean your pour service telling people to sit online for 4 hours waiting for someone to talk to me rather than call your call centres. If I'd called up straight away I'd not have needed to tweet you. You didn't even tweet back quickly.

  • Halo1975 Simon Hale (@Halo1975) reported from Luton, England

    @virginmedia 2nd day on the trot someone claiming to be from your ‘tech support’ dept. have called our landline no. claiming there’s a problem with our broadband; there’s not, it’s clearly a scam. I’ve a number that they called from to share with you if you like? Can I DM this??

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

    @virginmedia You do realise that the majority of messages sent to you are people complaining that your Wi-Fi is very poor? So perhaps concentrate on that for existing clients rather than pushing new sales? Poor router is the issue. #slowerfaraway

  • stalkyturnip Eamonn Spelman (@stalkyturnip) reported

    @VirginMediaIE Cancel virgin media.

  • Gravecat Gravecat~🖤🤍💜 (@Gravecat) reported

    @virginmedia My biggest complaint is that 90% of the time, any kind of downtime happens between the hours of around 2am-5am. It's consistently within those hours enough times to blatantly not be "unexpected" or "unplanned", and yet, never any word of it on the service status page.

  • 82ladyK Kirsty Richards (@82ladyK) reported

    @virginmedia I phoned today & was told things would be looked into as after making an error & disconnecting me in July, the home move team failed to cancel services on my move date! I was told I would be called back. That was at 11.50am today & still no call🤔 not sure how @Virgin can charge

  • MsJayne_H Jayne (@MsJayne_H) reported

    @virginmedia Three network engineer visits in a week and there is still a fault. Sort it out, please.

  • spurs4life2019 Big t (@spurs4life2019) reported

    @virginmedia I've called them, they say they can't do anything. So that means I'm paying for a box that doesn't work, and u guys don't give a damn

  • TerryUrbanczyk Terry Urbanczyk (@TerryUrbanczyk) reported

    Hi @virginmedia what network does Virgin Mobile use? Is it o2 or Vodafone still?

  • Gravecat Gravecat~🖤🤍💜 (@Gravecat) reported

    @virginmedia All devices, yes, but the hub is inconsistent -- for shorter, intermittent downtimes (e.g. right now), the light doesn't change and the hub reports no errors, but TCP/IP traffic just fails. For longer downtimes, it's green light and connection errors on the hub's status page.
