@virginmedia No problem! Hub 3. Speed just not as hoped. It's some sort of street-to-house issue, acknowledged by a technician on a previous visit. Separate (Google) WiFi is rock solid.

@weemazsmith @virginmedia Yes had that & it wasn't until I cancelled everything that I got the DD issue. If you don't want to leave them, ask for disconnection, they have a different attitude, but the issues re connection continued for me xx

@virginmedia oh look. More issues. Now my V6 box takes an age when playing TV shows I have recorded. Gives a blank screen then loading symbol.

@virginmedia They said all their promotions include £35 set up fee, but clearly they're unaware of this promotion which was on for a few days on the VM website. I had to take this issue to here because they don't let me send the screenshot of the website as a proof.

@JustisMatt @virginmedia @SkyUK You can get out easily. They haven’t performed their side of the contract so they have broken it .

@VoteBrexmas @Beckski93 @virginmedia To be honest, I tried speed running uncharted at the beginning of the year, still not completed it. Being a parent sucks at times.

@BBCWatchdog can't believe you placed @virginmedia 4th in your comparison. Their customer service is the WORST! Non-UK based poor phone support, prices forever going up, and rubbish hardware.

@virginmedia I was meant to have my virgin media installed back on the 23rd and it didn't happen due to a wayleave. Was told to leave it with you guys and you'd let me know. Its now the 4th October and still no communication from you at all. Very poor service.

@virginmedia got problem with less than 1mb download speeds at the moment and service status test of equipment says that there is an issue that’ll be fixed in 30 mins. That was 2 hours ago and no improvement. Area 31

@virginmedia I have been a customer for 20yrs, have a minimal service broadband, tv and phone and pay £60/m. There's no match in current bundles. The nearest offer to new customers has more tv, less broadband but costs only £38/m for 12 months then £69 This is just wrong!

@virginmedia Thanks rung them got no answers but mostly that it sounds like no one is coming and then got hung up on. This sounds like the beginning of us not having the greatest service afterall

@virginmedia I've read all the useless help countless times (in the hope that one day you actually include something useful). Yes, I've tried everything, and no it never resolves the issue.

@virginmedia I realise Twitter is not the best place to have this conversation but your online agent couldn't organise any help ("the system won't let me") unless I found someone with a different laptop, so it seems worth a shot.

@virginmedia No I have not tried that number, I have been ringing 150 on my landline but can never get through to a human being. I’ve had an engineer out a while back. He replaced my TiVo box but not sure if it was a new one or not? Didn’t come with new remote? I obviously am no expert but

@virginmedia There is damage to the cable covering on my exterior wall leaving the actual cables exposed. Is this something one of your engineers can repair (it was put there when my cable service was installed)? If so, who do I contact to arrange replacement of the covering?
-
Annabel Chapman

@virginmedia We have been on the phone to your customer service department for over two hours this morning so not prepared to waste anymore of my time. This was a last ditch attempt to get a resolution before we cancel.

@virginmedia Yes I have to use a VPN connection. Ah okay maybe I was just lucky when I tried it then it being in the lounge. It worked briefly then cut out again. It stays connected but says no internet access?

@virginmedia Absolute charlotons. You bullied my nearly 80 year old mum into a higher package & then refused to change it when she called you after she had calmed down. Are you going to sort this out or am I going to need to contact @Ofcom to complain about your sharp practices?

@virginmedia No wired devices on our network. All wireless devices were affected - Mac OS and iOS. Retested 5 mins ago and was showing 70Mbps up and 8Mbps down. Now back to 5/2 respectively.

@virginmedia It is not a local outage it is an issue that has been ongoing for 2 months. Customer services @virginmedia are fully aware of our issues. All logged. We are waiting for an engineer that can fix it instead of the three we have had visit that scratch their heads.
