@virginmedia Greetings. How on earth is a person supposed to speak to you? I can’t change anything meaningful on your website & your phone system won’t accept my password. So you just keep charging me for out of date kit & poor service. CALL ME or DM me please.
-
Lizzie Sagoo (@LizzieSagoo) reported from Swavesey, England
@virginmedia our internet is still down. Website says there is a fault, but our neighbours Virgin service was restored yesterday evening. I can’t find tel number or online chat on your website to find out more. Pls can we have an update
-
#DocMartin (@GoMcMahon) reported from Saint Ives, England
@virginmedia I have tried every method to get a response and a solution from customer support and it's now another week gone by that we can't use the V6 box because you haven't sent me a small cable adapter. @Ofcom you could be more firm with companies that let customers down!
-
Angela Bennett (@anjibennett) reported from Cambridgeshire, England
@ALucieSmith @YodelOnline @virginmedia I left Virgin Media for BT in April and have had far less hassle, lower bills and less broadband problems.
-
alliorton (@alliorton) reported from Milton, England
@jameslsaunders @virginmedia I switched a few months ago because they have terrible customer service and my broadband was infuriatingly flaky
-
Dan Jackson (@danj2k) reported from Cambridgeshire, England
@virginmedia How ironic that you're advertising your broadband on the day that it's down for planned maintenance
-
Elizabeth Buie (she/her) (@ebuie) reported from Cambridgeshire, England
Dear @virginmedia — you've cut me off a day early; I'm not moving house until tomorrow and was expecting to have service through the end of today. I don't find a customer service phone number on your website. Can you help? I'd be grateful!
-
Lizzie Sagoo (@LizzieSagoo) reported from Swavesey, England
@virginmedia It does now (6pm). Do you know why we don’t have service when others in area do? We have tried rebooting
-
Chris Rand (@ChrisRandWrites) reported from Cambridgeshire, England
Would love to watch the new Spitting Image getting so much hype, but paying £6 a month for yet another streaming service, with the added privilege of having to bodge a cable from my iPad to watch it on TV because it's not on Virgin Media or PS4? No thanks. #SpittingImage
-
Keir Macintosh (@keir_macintosh) reported from Cambridgeshire, England
@virginmedia We are new to virgin media and tbh it’s a bit crap. It needs to get better quickly. We are paying for fibre and have a few average service and super spotty service.
-
Matty Maltby (@MattyMaltbyX11) reported from Cambridgeshire, England
@virginmedia you should know that Leon working in CB5 Cambridge right now has single handedly just saved you a loyal customer on top packages & business package! After 20 years I had enough but he’s just landed you 18 months to see how you improve! Top worker, needs promoting!
-
JayD the Yiddo (@JayDThePlumber) reported from Cambridgeshire, England
The irony in @virginmedia using the hashtag stay connected, literally have never been so frustrated with broadband in my life. I spend more time resetting the router and checking service status than I do actually using the internet
-
Lizzie Sagoo (@LizzieSagoo) reported from Swavesey, England
@virginmedia It’s now past 6pm and still no internet. Website now says no problem in our area, but phone (150) says there is a problem but no fix time. Can we have an update?
-
Amit Puntambekar (@AmitP1992) reported from Fenstanton, England
@IFALeicester @virginmedia @Ofcom Terrible company to deal with Scott, took me 8+ months to set up an installation as they had to come out to do road works. Every week promised they’d come within the next few days. Effectively no internet during that period. Left us in limbo the whole time.
-
Marcus Deaves 🍸 (@MarcusDeaves) reported from Willingham, England
@virginmedia your customer service is a cheap, lazy farce. Your ‘new sim’ won’t work. You have NO telephone support and your website is designed to frustrate. You’re killing me. #NotAVirgin #VirgInTheBin #HangYourHeadInShame
-
Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England
@virginmedia completely lost broadband service in CB245xx. Not very helpful for those of us working from home. Are you able to provide any more details than your status page tells us: We have identified the problem and an engineer is on their way. Fix estimate: 18 November 15:00
-
Lizzie Sagoo (@LizzieSagoo) reported from Swavesey, England
@virginmedia Still no broadband. We texted that number yesterday as advised - when can we expect to hear back? Do you have a customer service telephone number? I can’t find customer service tel number or online chat on your website?
-
#DocMartin (@GoMcMahon) reported from Saint Ives, England
@virginmedia why is it impossible for you to provide customer support? Every other major company has managed to set up employees to work from home and continue customer support, but your great media company cannot! 20+ mins waiting for an answer, is very poor.

@virginmedia just got a phone call and they decided to not send anyone. Apparently the internet is perfect, it is wherever I do the tests and their servers. I tried 3 different cables and result is always the same. %50+ jitter. Ping goes up and down every second and none of my friends have it
-
GJ (@MrGaggies) reported
@virginmedia no internet for over 24hr and all you are doing is moving the fix time and date and your not answering your phones #awfulserice #badcustomerservice can you please provide update and how to get refund

International man of mystery (@ILESILESILES) reported
Dear @virginmedia - internet has been down for over 24 hours in SW9 0LH and the fix keeps getting pushed back. First it was 3pm yesterday then 10am today, midday today, now 4pm. What on earth is going on?
-
David Tiplady (@Tippy679) reported
@virginmedia Hi there, the complaint was regarding the push back of installation again. Initial install was 4th March, this was pushed back to the 17th with work due to begin 10th March (2 days ago). No sign of engineers and date of work changed to 16th. Can’t afford another delay
-
VanHowe (@howedali) reported
@ILESILESILES @virginmedia 0RH, still no internet from yesterday. I will definitely cancel my bundle, @virginmedia .
-
#JoshHocken (@MVP_129) reported
@virginmedia Im now nearing the end of £27pm contract and been told our contract will be increase to £52.50 - That's nearly a 100% increase? Can it be looked at? I have no problem changing to Sky, I have their TV package and to get broadband included it still works out cheaper...
-
Jackie Nixon (@JackieNi) reported
@virginmedia can you tell me when you are going to restore services in SW4. No communication, no nothing. Appalling customer service. We're leaving you...
-
David Tiplady (@Tippy679) reported
@virginmedia Yeah i’ve spoken with them and they can’t really give me a reason it was moved or assurance it will go ahead. Can’t afford to be without internet much longer due to working from home to support county wide covid testing! Can the work be brought forward?
-
Ang (@Ang272) reported
@virginmedia WHY WHY WHY DO YOU TAKE AN HOUR TO ANSWER THE PHONE . WIFI BEEN DOWN FOR DAYS , KEEP BEEN PROMISED IT WILL BE FIXED BUT STILL NOT WORKING 5DAYS ON . QUICK AT TAKING MY MONEY THOUGH.
-
Thomas Coxhead (@iamcoxhead) reported
@virginmedia The lack of care you have, as a company, towards your customers is really concerning. During a time where we are working from home, there has been no effort to help get this fixed quicker or be transparent with what the issue is... it still says 'no issue' on the website.
