@virginmedia Yeah it's not WiFi because it's affecting my pc which is connected via an Ethernet cable to the back of the hub. Just now it went down and came back up but there was no change to the lights on the hub.

@pbw1000 @virginmedia Same problem here, same timing, also in CB4. Told it was an area problem. But now told it’s fixed so not their problem so must be ours. Next call told it might be their problem! Daughter is NHS Dr trying to work online @virginmedia

@JoeBaguley What’s your 4G like when you lose power? Often when we have a powercut both the broadband and 4G signal dies too. I’m running a UPS but guess @virginmedia / @EE don’t protect their kit 🤔

@UKPowerNetworks short (7 minute) power outage experienced in CB245** @virginmedia service lost as well as @EE service too. I know the value of a UPS and while I recognise that residential broadband isn’t protected, I’m shocked that the EE mobile service was compromised.

@virginmedia @JohnJef51763960 I’ve added log files to the Virgin community and have been assured that someone will be looking at the issue. From the logging feedback received suggest this is not a customer premises issue.

ironic that the hold music on @virginmedia ‘s “help line” contains the lyrics “please don’t let me down”. The very reason i’m calling for the upteenth time. 100 hours since i was promised a manager calling back in 48hrs, and 48hrs since they said it would only be another 24 hours

@virginmedia I’m using the hub in modem mode. From the logs (which only go back to 9.12am) there are several critical errors coinciding with each outage. It’s looking like the modem isn’t getting a response from VM at that time.

@virginmedia Yes. Service is restored at the moment but understand it’s an ongoing issue. Usually a short outage (9 minutes) but this was 25mins this time.

@virginmedia We're on M100 fibre. Speed isn't the issue. The issue is that whole thing stops working for no clear reason; no warning lights, no issues on the service check website. It takes out all the devices at once. And it's been getting worse since the bill increase was announced.

@Football101blog @virginmedia And it’s not just one customer. Is there some magic number of customers that make a complaint valid? When you have a business to run, a job to do- and are in lockdown already- days without internet are a major problem.

@JohnJef51763960 @virginmedia My neighbour & I are now monitoring & recording the outages. There has been 4 today - all about 10 minutes each. We’re seeing the same problems at the same time so there must be a common fault. It needs @virginmedia to investigate their equipment...

@virginmedia You sent a new WiFi router out then said you were coming to collect that!! You then took us down for a day at a time on two seperate occasions and instead of getting 200mbps we were getting 7mbps yesterday when your service was saying no faults. Just sort it out ffs.

@virginmedia telephone customer services told me you cannot provide customers with their account notes from previous queries etc. Some previous billing/package amendments have not been actioned and dealing with this over the phone isn't working. Let me know thanks

@virginmedia Am not sharing some details on open message no. Basically the caller said I will have my internet connection terminated in 10 days, for 15 days, unless I comply with demands from your security department. When I refused they said they would terminate immediately.

@virginmedia Yes that’s fine - we have had our speeds upgraded but still have WiFi problems. At least one room in the house shows as a black spot on the app, and we do get points when the WiFi is slow. Have re-booted hub and followed instructions. Would a booster solve this?
