Nigel Craft (@CraftyNigel) reported from Ely, EnglandVery disappointed in @virginmedia rang for the 4th time as we keep getting a WiFi issue in one of our rooms on various devices even though it says it’s a full signal , we were told if we pay £5 extra a month we can have a WiFi booster when they are only £20 to buy , ridiculous

Nigel Craft (@CraftyNigel) reported from Ely, England@virginmedia This just says I’ll still have to pay £5 a month surely your WiFi should work correctly ,we never had this problem before so surely this means there’s a problem , we can’t afford another £5 a month as we are paying nearly £80 now

-
PBTV (@PaulBryanTV) reported from Wimblington, EnglandSo @virginmedia I’m on your Hub 3 and it’s TERRIBLE. The WiFi signal 30ft away or more is less than half strength... Plus they installed it in our hallway...less than 6ft from our door which is SOOOO not ideal placement. Upgrade our box and install somewhere better please.

-
Emma Spurdle (@EmmaSpurdle) reported@virginmedia Yes but the issue has been going on since Thursday at 10pm. It’s now Saturday!
-
Terry McCann (@hit_him_terry) reportedFor a service they failed to provide, @virginmedia isn't that fraudulent under consumer protection laws?
-
Mathew (@Mattyamc) reported@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia Every broadband company has a minimum speed they must deliver, if there failing then you are well within your rights to cancel. Call citizens advice, they have professional lawyers that will speak to them for you and trust me they will kick them in the nuts while there at it.
-
R.A. (@RSpurs1980) reportedI can’t watch the game. Not because I’m scared of the outcome. But @virginmedia has been down in my area since Thursday. Ya kunts
-
Alfie Pupper Esq 2 (@AlfiePupper) reportedHey @virginmedia how come the only part of your service that works consistently is billing? Posting on here because I have more chance of handcuffing a ghost than speaking to a human employee for help. Funny, cos when you wanted to sell your service we couldn’t get rid of you!
-
Hot_Cold_Warm Matched Betting (@SimonRichardsMB) reportedWell played @virginmedia and @tntsports for offering the @ChampionsLeague final free to customers… but it slightly sucks the audio is out of sync with the visuals!
-
TB (@Peerabeee) reported@virginmedia I am paying for a service you cannot deliver. Multiple failed engineer visits (Dec 24, Jan 22) and internet is still broken. you demand an illegal cancellation fee? I have raised a formal complaint: C-010626172 (Yeliz Guven Bilgin). Sort this out under Ofcom rules.
-
Nathan B. Evans (@nbevans) reported@BenZaranko This is just how network operators roll now in hyper-consumption economies I saw a Reddit thread the other day where one guy had ended up paying Virgin Media £130/month just for basic cable broadband. Just because he hadn't challenged any of the price increases for 3 years.
-
Christian Schmeer (@cschmeer) reported@virginmedia Thank you, but unfortunately there’s no alternative placement as the next power socket would be through a wall and 10 meters down the hallway, which might help with the overheating, but is a weird spot as all my network connections run to the cupboard by the entrance.
-
Kevin McGinley (@kevmcgin1888) reported@virginmedia broadband has just went down and its impossible to get speaking to someone on the phone. Live chat directed me to WhatsApp and still nothing
