@virginmedia Yes, I phoned customer services on the landline and they managed to rectify it. Thank you.
-
Helen-Jason-Mille (@jasonhelenmille) reported from Chatteris, England
@virginmedia I told them repeatedly that I did not believe that a booster would work. Even when I would be required to pay for one. The speed at the hub as you can see in WiFi is poor so you tell me.
-
sean smith (@seansmi3214635) reported from Wisbech, England
@virginmedia Further to yesterday message I still have the same problem & have been unable to speak to an adviser. Usual trouble shooting hasn't worked

pauline anne jackson (@paulineannejack) reported from Ely, England
Had a big argument with @virginmedia today. On why there is no set channel for @GBNEWS. Feeling concerned they are clamping down on free speach. I have to go on line for it. 😬
-
Nigel Craft (@CraftyNigel) reported from Ely, England
Very disappointed in @virginmedia rang for the 4th time as we keep getting a WiFi issue in one of our rooms on various devices even though it says it’s a full signal , we were told if we pay £5 extra a month we can have a WiFi booster when they are only £20 to buy , ridiculous
-
Nigel Craft (@CraftyNigel) reported from Ely, England
@virginmedia We were told on one call it was showing a fault and they would get someone to call but that was two months ago ,nobody ever rang ,if I use my phone or a different iPad you can see the signal disappear often but then other times It will be fine ,just in that room though
-
Andy - M1NER (@andytuk) reported from Whittlesey, England
@virginmedia But does your new software support subtitles if the provider is supplying them? I need to make sure before we upgrade to 360.

Nigel Craft (@CraftyNigel) reported from Ely, England

-
Nigel Craft (@CraftyNigel) reported from Ely, England
@virginmedia This just says I’ll still have to pay £5 a month surely your WiFi should work correctly ,we never had this problem before so surely this means there’s a problem , we can’t afford another £5 a month as we are paying nearly £80 now

@virginmedia So my Broadband/phone is now £50. And a £3.50 price rise. But new customer can have it for £26.99... you robbing ungrateful bastids, existing customers obviously don't matter!! Time to look elsewhere.
-
PBTV (@PaulBryanTV) reported from Wimblington, England
So @virginmedia I’m on your Hub 3 and it’s TERRIBLE. The WiFi signal 30ft away or more is less than half strength... Plus they installed it in our hallway...less than 6ft from our door which is SOOOO not ideal placement. Upgrade our box and install somewhere better please.
-

Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Alex (@AlexBaldryxyz) reported
@virginmedia Yes I’ve already checked on there. There’s no known issues in my area. The wifi did go off for about 20 mins and it’s been terrible ever since.
-
Moh (@mali2900) reported
@virginmedia why is it that you offer new customers oomph bundle for £79 yet as a customer of 5yrs you are only willing to offer me same package for £120 on renewal? 50%+ extra for renewal is ridiculous!!! Promised manager callback also not materialised😡
-
Tarot Hub (@tarothub) reported
@virginmedia I never asked for it to be free! If we call back we may get the same unhelpful team member.
-
FT Tom (@FrameTrapped) reported
@virginmedia You force people to use a minimum and on top of that restrict their first character to a letter making passwords follow a forced pattern. This makes login attempts easier for people trying to break passwords.
-
Emily ♡ (@ArianaFtZaynx) reported
@virginmedia They cancelled my order again without letting me know... yeah definitely going with o2 now. Sorry you have to work with such a **** company
-
Tarot Hub (@tarothub) reported
@virginmedia Thanks for the reply. Hardly disabled friendly is it? Asking me to go through that experience again and then complain. Are you just looking good on social media rather than offering help?
-
erpheath (@erpheath) reported
@virginmedia No wifi since April 3. 30+ calls to customer services, 5+ assurances that a manager will call to sort this, never happened, still no idea when wifi will be restored. @Virginmedia shower customers with contempt, apathy and lies. #63daysdisconnected.
-
KIGary (@KIGary) reported
@virginmedia ummm...so I upgraded my broadband to 500Mbps with a guarantee of 250Mbps. So far I've not pulled more than 35. Previously I was getting 120. Can you help, please? Customer services don't seem to be able to.
-
Ruth Coman (@ruthcoman) reported
@virginmedia The CS woman said 1st visit showed on system with 17th booked for follow up. This couldn’t be changed. Priority didn’t make a difference. I asked for her manager - no one I could speak to. Only escalation was a complaint form.
-
Alexandra Wallace (@alexdomnatjess) reported
@virginmedia We have never, ever had a decent download speed from our broadband, the Wi-Fi signal does not carry to five rooms and it just intermittently disappears…..
