NIKKI STOCK | Mentor| Marketing|Networker| (@NikkiMentoring) reported from Fenstanton, England@zimmro @virginmedia If it’s any comfort I have had major issues in the last six weeks with my broadband. I think it is sheer overload with so many people working from home on domestic broadband they just can’t cope.
-
Bertie Bird draws (@Techno_boy_Gili) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@virginmedia Fix time was by 15:00. Yea and now it’s 15:00 I have service. Convenient. This happens all to often. 5 plus hours of no service. Special after speaking with the customer service team about the so called service improvements. Where are these so called service improvements???

-
Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England@virginmedia I’m using the hub in modem mode. From the logs (which only go back to 9.12am) there are several critical errors coinciding with each outage. It’s looking like the modem isn’t getting a response from VM at that time.
-
Scott Westron (@ScottWestron) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@virginmedia After three attempts they’ve phoned back to say they’re the faults departments and can’t help. 😂

Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England@UKPowerNetworks short (7 minute) power outage experienced in CB245** @virginmedia service lost as well as @EE service too. Mick Brown (@Lord_Drainlid) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@steveeejg It looks like to get a basic fibre service it might be around £25 and for higher speed from about £40 monthly. One test is will they charge to plug a home phone into a router and allow a landline no to be transferred? Virgin Media charges, putting the monthly rate up to about £55

b (@ihavejordans) reported@BobbyMan747 @Virgin Personally i was thinking of making the switch to Virgin Media, but the last couple of weeks i have been hearing a lot of this. I thought they had sorted out their issues, but it appears they haven't.
-
Jags Arthurson (@JagsArthurson) reportedWhen @virginmedia tells you to update your Tivo Box to the latest version, DON'T DO IT! It is truly RUBBISH There is not one single thing about it that is not WORSE than the previous version. So bad that I will be leaving Virgin as soon as I can
-
Septimus McClonk (@clm2071) reportedAbsolutely appalling service from @virginmedia - haven't sent me the equipment you promised, the equipment you have sent is broken on arrival. And over half an hour waiting on chat and call to speak to someone. Absolute joke
-
Minute Market (@Minutemarketio) reportedVirgin Media Gets Fined 🫰 Virgin Media was hit with a £28 million, or roughly $37 million, fine by UK regulator Ofcom for repeatedly making it harder for customers to cancel contracts between 2022 and 2024. That is not just a consumer-rights story. It is a warning for telecom and subscription businesses that “retention tricks” can become regulatory liabilities. In a market obsessed with recurring revenue, cancellation friction is now a legal risk.
-
Matthew Lock (@nubnutts) reported@Stsantek @virginmedia damn i feel bad for you, i mean i pay £40 for gigabit on VM
-
Owen Luckhurst (@DoctorDisco63) reported@MartinSLewis @MartinSLewis hearing about Virgin Media today I’m not surprised. They did the same to me around 2020, except they lied to me about my cancellation date. By the time I called to cancel, they said it was too late. So I disconnected everything and didn’t pay them a penny more.
-
Deano... (@Frugal_ways) reported@benjaminlfc @O2 @virginmedia It's always the private browser software they fail on. Always states, "Access denied to this page" yet the options button asks me if, "I want to log out?" Funny that...
-
Simone-Lee Deal (@StiffNips2) reported@ChrisCorney1 Had that with my 91 yr old mum, she was charged 2x the going rate by Virgin, had dementia and obvs couldn't remember what her password was, so Virgin wouldn't let her cancel. I got there in the end, but @virginmedia are bastards
-
