#DocMartin (@GoMcMahon) reported from Saint Ives, England@virginmedia I have tried every method to get a response and a solution from customer support and it's now another week gone by that we can't use the V6 box because you haven't sent me a small cable adapter. @Ofcom you could be more firm with companies that let customers down!

Elizabeth Speller (@lizziespeller) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@Football101blog @virginmedia And it’s not just one customer. Irate_Jobbie (@Irate_Jobbie) reported@AwTroon Many, many years ago, I called virgin media to tell them I was leaving. They asked why, I said you don't offer value for money anymore. Sorry you're leaving but that is the best price, you already have. It was expensive. No problem, bye now. Next day, virgin cold calls me. Asks me to confirm who I am. I said no, you are calling me, you should know. Guy was annoyed as he was phoning to offer me a better deal. I said fine, I'll call the same retentions team I called yesterday to leave and I'll know it's actually virgin. He got angry, said they can't offer discounts, only he could and if I didn't confirm my details, he couldn't give me the offer. I just told him I could no longer do business with virgin due to such poor security procedures. He seemed very angry about the fact I wasn't willing to give personal identifiable information to a stranger cold calling me. Never paid them a penny again.
