  • HarryAldridge92 Harry Aldridge (@HarryAldridge92) reported from Saint Ives, England

@virginmedia Hi, I disabled 5ghz on the IP website because someone at ‘Ring Doorbell’ said it will only work on 2.4 but now none of my devices will connect to WiFi. I now can’t log back in to change it back to what it was. Is this something you can please help me with? Thanks

  • lizziespeller Elizabeth Speller (@lizziespeller) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@pbw1000 @virginmedia Same problem here, same timing, also in CB4. Told it was an area problem. But now told it’s fixed so not their problem so must be ours. Next call told it might be their problem! Daughter is NHS Dr trying to work online @virginmedia

  • nleaney Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England

@UKPowerNetworks short (7 minute) power outage experienced in CB245** @virginmedia service lost as well as @EE service too. I know the value of a UPS and while I recognise that residential broadband isn’t protected, I’m shocked that the EE mobile service was compromised.

  • nleaney Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England

@JohnJef51763960 @virginmedia I didn’t see that issue. My most recent outage was 18.00-18.10 yesterday. No issue was reported on the status page.

  • nleaney Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England

@JoeBaguley What’s your 4G like when you lose power? Often when we have a powercut both the broadband and 4G signal dies too. I’m running a UPS but guess @virginmedia / @EE don’t protect their kit 🤔

  • tombowran Tom Bowran (@tombowran) reported from Willingham, England

@virginmedia I’ve been through your rubbish instant chat, i’ve been connected by your phone lines back to a phone tech, but I want to speak to a manager in the UK about the diabolical service I’m having both with your products and service

  • nleaney Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England

@virginmedia @JohnJef51763960 I’ve added log files to the Virgin community and have been assured that someone will be looking at the issue. From the logging feedback received suggest this is not a customer premises issue.

  • nleaney Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England

@virginmedia broadband outage in CB245* again. A couple of short outages today already but this seems to be a bit longer and nothing on your status page to indicate a problem...

  • PetarKralev Petar Kralev (@PetarKralev) reported from Fen Drayton, England

@virginmedia Another bot service that resolve nothing ! Thanks but no thanks

  • nleaney Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England

@virginmedia another 10 minute broadband outage in CB245* which didn’t show on your status page. This seems to be occurring more frequently 😔

  • AdamRPhoto adamrobertson.co.uk (@AdamRPhoto) reported from Godmanchester, England

@virginmedia Yes, but I want to talk to someone instead as I’m still having issues and your software doesn’t catch them as the connection is back up by the time I’ve logged in and run them

  • nleaney Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England

@camcanary @virginmedia Yes outage around 9.10-9.25 and another one between 9.35-9.45

  • AmanCoonar Aman Coonar (@AmanCoonar) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@virginmedia Sorry but your Wi-fi delivery, reliability and customer service is a joke

  • nleaney Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England

@JohnJef51763960 @virginmedia My neighbour & I are now monitoring & recording the outages. There has been 4 today - all about 10 minutes each. We’re seeing the same problems at the same time so there must be a common fault. It needs @virginmedia to investigate their equipment...

  • AdamRPhoto adamrobertson.co.uk (@AdamRPhoto) reported from Godmanchester, England

Hey @virginmedia who do I contact for constant packet loss and internet issues as your software says there are none, but there 100% is 😩🔫

  • Biggriffin4 Biggriffin (@Biggriffin4) reported from Huntingdon, England

@virginmedia So my Broadband/phone is now £50. And a £3.50 price rise. But new customer can have it for £26.99... you robbing ungrateful bastids, existing customers obviously don't matter!! Time to look elsewhere.

  • lizziespeller Elizabeth Speller (@lizziespeller) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@Football101blog @virginmedia And it’s not just one customer. Is there some magic number of customers that make a complaint valid? When you have a business to run, a job to do- and are in lockdown already- days without internet are a major problem.

  • nleaney Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England

@virginmedia I’m using the hub in modem mode. From the logs (which only go back to 9.12am) there are several critical errors coinciding with each outage. It’s looking like the modem isn’t getting a response from VM at that time.

@MozPerkins @virginmedia I've been known to go out with a bar of soap & write a message on the windshield...or driver's door. No damage, get the message across & probably needs the wash. 👍

  • jlsinc Jason Sinclair (@jlsinc) reported

@virginmedia @didanntendry I dunno, when you're charging double the rate of competitors for a worse service maybe you could use some of that money to employ more people to handle the "extremely high volume of calls"?

  • susybutton sue blood (@susybutton) reported

@virginmedia You we’re doing work in my area yday, texted that it was all completed yet our WiFi keeps going down today. Working from home it’s a pain - can’t get through to anyone on the phone, what’s going on?

  • SharonSkade Sharon Skade💙 (@SharonSkade) reported

After waiting over 24hrs for a response on @virginmedia new whatsap system you message me while I'm driving and security form won't open. I have spoken to customer services but apparently only retention team can remove my broadband 😠 Day 3 now

  • San17travel San17 (@San17travel) reported

@virginmedia Now I am going to look for a broadband deal so I can cancel my media contract with Virgin too. I cannot go through the stress of trying to deal with Virgin’s customer services ever again.

  • ____internet Alex (@____internet) reported

@virginmedia I'm being asked to pay money I was told I didn't need to pay. Because I overpaid the previous month. But the approach isn't to cancel that request, but for me to pay you and then you give it back. Backwards.
