@virginmedia why is it impossible to get to speak to an actual human being? We've been trying to get through to cancel our landline for months and get nowhere. Led round in circles until eventually the call cuts off. Can anyone help?

  • ChantelleEJ Chantelle (@ChantelleEJ) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia Thank you. It came back on yesterday AM but was out since Thurs PM. It was always flashing green and early Sat after running a test it said it was a network issue. I was luckily not working at home on Fri. It was difficult to find out if it was me or the network for a long time.

In a constantly changing world we need something to rely on. @virginmedia can guarantee that you will be kept on hold long enough to see if you die waiting for help. #crapcustomerserviceasusual

  • ChantelleEJ Chantelle (@ChantelleEJ) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia Thanks KT. Unfortunately it’s still not working and I have tried the online service checker and the number, it says no faults. Is the internet problem linked to the on demand problem? I’ve been out at work for 12 hours so it’s been like this all day :(

  • Privatenugget2 Privatenugget (@Privatenugget2) reported from Irthlingborough, England

@tiff_tv @TalkTalk That's not bad tbh i have rung virgin media been on the hold for over an hour then they just cut me off🙄🙄🙄

  • Tech_Analyst_UK Rob Anderson #TipToeingOutOfHibernation (@Tech_Analyst_UK) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia I'm well aware of the service status page, but when it just gives a generic 'we know there's a problem and hope to get it fixed by 3pm' it's not very helpful. But seemingly the chatbot is even less so. Just lost connection for the 3rd time in 28 hours. #Anyone4Starlink?

  • trushar108 Trushār Patel (@trushar108) reported from Wellingborough, England

@Virgin @virginmedia @richardbranson Dear Virgin Media, unlawful pretending fraudulent callers keep ringing us about a nonsense router signal issue and hacked IP network? Can you please implement preventative measures to protect vulnerable community members living in the UK. Thx

  • Helenfaerieart Helenfaerieart (@Helenfaerieart) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia random phone call from your tech support, issues with my router apparently, but, didn't know my name, address or account number...I guess this is phishing and fake?

  • Bdayboom Benji (@Bdayboom) reported from Finedon, England

@channel5_tv not sure if it's a @virginmedia issue or yours but subtitles aren't working on channel 5 as I type this motorway cops

  • charleshill23 Charlie (@charleshill23) reported from Desborough, England

@virginmedia hi, I am utterly disgusted with the way I have been spoken to on the phone when I called to talk about an account. I then had a call back and was spoke to like a deprived human being. I want to leave your service as your customer service skills are an abomination.

  • NPaladina Nancy Paladina (@NPaladina) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia Had to have a really tough call this evening to query a bill sent to my deceased father’s address. I want to highlight the exceptional customer service I received from Franco (no idea how else to identify him), but he was truly amazing and did everything he could 👏🏼

  • Tech_Analyst_UK Rob Anderson #TipToeingOutOfHibernation (@Tech_Analyst_UK) reported from Bedford, England

2nd day running that @virginmedia services have dropped out. Unacceptable with so many working from home. Chatbot just redirects to service status #fail

  • Gordonsalive200 Stuart Paterson (@Gordonsalive200) reported from Bedford, England

Are there any other UK @skytv customers having trouble with Sky Q boxes over a #virginmedia broadband connection?

  • Just_Woodbridge Justine (@Just_Woodbridge) reported from Wellingborough, England

@virginmedia I have sent text messages to the number you provided on here, and I last spoke to several customer representatives on 26th January, then asked to speak to a manager, was put on hold for 50 minutes, then you cut me off/the line went dead. So, nothing has been resolved.

  • Just_Woodbridge Justine (@Just_Woodbridge) reported from Wellingborough, England

@virginmedia Tried this 3 times today. It will not submit my complaint. Very handy.

  • stephylouise Steph (@stephylouise) reported from Desborough, England

@virginmedia Would we be able to write to that address if we only wanted to cancel our landline? We currently have a TV package which we want to keep.

  • Just_Woodbridge Justine (@Just_Woodbridge) reported from Wellingborough, England

@virginmedia I thought my issue was resolved yesterday, but today I’ve had an email saying something different. I text the number again, at 11.28am, the bot replied but nothing since then?!

  • IanP Ian Pond (@IanP) reported

@virginmedia I called 150 again this morning, after you confirmed the service had not been suspended. I’m happy to say this person knew what she was doing, immediately suggested a password reset and this fixed it. Now all working. Suggest you retrain the person I spoke to yesterday.

  • kimsxjin Ryan 🇵🇸🇹🇼 (@kimsxjin) reported

@virginmedia We just need the router installed and TV. The guy told us it would be a 2 hour job to install everything and not a 20 min fix

  • LetsDrink_FS Lets Drink with Formal Shark (@LetsDrink_FS) reported

@virginmedia Now we been told because the phone is down they can't put a divert on the number. I can't believe that an ISP dose not have control over the DDIs of it's customers. If you can so then you best get an engineer out quick

  • mechanicalhoun5 mechanicalhound (@mechanicalhoun5) reported

@virginmedia We’ve spent hours on the phone to you and nothing gets done another reason your customer service is SO bad. Just pass us around. How about you DM us take our details and send people to rectify this immediately? We are still waiting for WiFi after 2 engineers and another 2 weeks.

  • IrenaBarker Irena Barker (@IrenaBarker) reported

@mrdavidwhitley One senses progress could be faster at all times...but not in swim school's interest. Just tried to cancel one child's lessons and it's almost as hard as leaving Virgin Media

  • ThatBlokeBob Robert Hazlett (@ThatBlokeBob) reported

@virginmedia Out of curiosity, why can't your PAYG customers use 4G, when Tesco and most other providers do it? What is the reason stopping it (apart from Greed obviously). Is Virgin's infrastructure haphazard to the point it cant support it?
