@JoshPainter1998 @virginmedia Yeah, I’ve had intermittent packet loss / instability issues for weeks now. Affects my esports gaming which is on live television, great advert for them. Have had five deadlines now for when their loca work will be finished and problems sorted. Literally baffled.

  • nosylocaljourno Hilary Scott (@nosylocaljourno) reported from Northamptonshire, England

So unbelievably fed up of @virginmedia broadband that constantly drops out. I pay almost £100 a month for packages that are just useless if the connection goes down. Can't work from home or teach remotely under these conditions.

  • gsolomonphoto Garry Solomon (@gsolomonphoto) reported from Rushden, England

@virginmedia on a 200mbps download package and I’m averaging 9mbps this morning! I understand there might be heavier traffic at the moment, but we can’t do any work from home with such poor service!! #stayconnected I would if I could!!

  • EppsRacer Mike Epps 🇬🇧🇳🇿 (@EppsRacer) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@mcintyrejack @iRacing @virginmedia Haven’t tried a router, with all the convo with VM about this potentially being fixed soon and me not wanting to blow money on one. Plus the issue seems to come and go so I’m not sure if it would be a constant issue with a router or not.

  • xBarnseyyy Simon (@xBarnseyyy) reported from Northamptonshire, England

    Virgin media down again 🙃

  • sszmidt199 Stephen Szmidt (@sszmidt199) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@RogerProtzBeer @virginmedia This is totally unacceptable. When resolved ask for compensation for loss of service, inconvenience & your time. Keep records. Raise an official complaint following their process. If unhappy with their response complain to CISA, their ombudsman. Consider switching. Good luck!

  • HayleyWhite36 Hunnybun's Bracelets (@HayleyWhite36) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia it seems that your cancellation dept call centre is closed due to the virus, I’ve tried to cancel my account & tried to message you online but neither appear to be possible, I’m just going round in circles. I haven’t renewed my contract or take you with me. Help

  • Unchain_Warrior Chiedozie Hez (@Unchain_Warrior) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia our broadband have given us all sorts of problems although your system says all is fine for the past one month. Please help!

  • craigwest Craig West (@craigwest) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@ruskin147 @PippaCrerar @virginmedia Virgin Media outage sounds like an issue with the broadband connection between Virgin and your home. The WiFi coverage within your home should be a quite separate issue? My Plusnet router didn’t give great WiFi coverage so I added TP-Link Deco mesh WiFi and have no issues now.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • ShazC7 ShazC (@ShazC7) reported

@virginmedia ...I don't have much of an issue with. It's still within the minimum download speed guarantee. If I apply this to my upload speeds as well then my upload speeds aren't meeting the minimum 50% expected upload speed. I'm on M200 so I should expect an upload speed of at least 10mb.

  • luke_bwfc Luke... (@luke_bwfc) reported

Is anyone else’s Virgin Media internet down?

  • WhiteMcrae Hayley McRae-White (@WhiteMcrae) reported

@virginmedia is it your intention to cut off a whole part of London for a 24hr period in this pretty historic moment & not provide any rationale/customer support etc. You really are the worst

  • GalacTR0N Sir Muppet of Smegg (@GalacTR0N) reported

see @virginmedia early exit fees. how @richardbranson how is the customer always right exactly? how bizarre a consumer is the single most destructive force on the planet and the weight of law isn't ever really in their favour.

  • IstvanOFatyol Oliver Fatyol (@IstvanOFatyol) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia Since w/c 22Aug my wife and I continuously keep checking the service status which gets updated and deadline pushed back. Nobody with virgin has broadband or TV for over 3 weeks now without explanation or a decent update

  • PaulAhdal Paul Ahdal (@PaulAhdal) reported

@virginmedia The line didn't cut off, your operator cut me off because he couldn't wait to end the call with me. Referring to your policy isn't acceptable, I've been shown nothing butncontempt by your staff throughout these issues.

  • ktjohnson_x KJ (@ktjohnson_x) reported

@virginmedia So being a loyal @virginmedia customer will literally cost me is what you’re saying? Wow. Looks like Virgin don’t value loyalty and want to lose customers then?

  • redsabre69 Tony (@redsabre69) reported

@virginmedia @virginhelp No Internet since 10pm last night and service checker says no problems, I've phoned virgin too but just keeps saying they are closed, upgraded to 500mb other day and can't even use my Internet I'm not happy
