  • factory_sausage 🎃🦇🖤Spooky Sausage Factory🖤🦇🎃 (@factory_sausage) reported from Northamptonshire, England

Hi @virginmedia is 02038271376 one of your numbers? Just had a call trying to get me to install an app called Quick Support. She seemed miffed when I wouldn't do it.

  • stephylouise Steph (@stephylouise) reported from Desborough, England

@virginmedia Would we be able to write to that address if we only wanted to cancel our landline? We currently have a TV package which we want to keep.

  • ChantelleEJ Chantelle (@ChantelleEJ) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia Thank you. It came back on yesterday AM but was out since Thurs PM. It was always flashing green and early Sat after running a test it said it was a network issue. I was luckily not working at home on Fri. It was difficult to find out if it was me or the network for a long time.

  • trushar108 Trushār Patel (@trushar108) reported from Wellingborough, England

@Virgin @virginmedia @richardbranson Dear Virgin Media, unlawful pretending fraudulent callers keep ringing us about a nonsense router signal issue and hacked IP network? Can you please implement preventative measures to protect vulnerable community members living in the UK. Thx

  • Bdayboom Benji (@Bdayboom) reported from Finedon, England

@channel5_tv not sure if it's a @virginmedia issue or yours but subtitles aren't working on channel 5 as I type this motorway cops

  • Shirley55474252 Shirley Ashby (@Shirley55474252) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia Limited TV service here Area code 31 in Northampton. Not happy!!Hope you don’t expect full payment on next bill!!!

  • ChantelleEJ Chantelle (@ChantelleEJ) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@virginmedia Thanks KT. Unfortunately it’s still not working and I have tried the online service checker and the number, it says no faults. Is the internet problem linked to the on demand problem? I’ve been out at work for 12 hours so it’s been like this all day :(

  • erikalesleyneal erika lesley neale (@erikalesleyneal) reported from Rothwell, England

@virginmedia Hi I was wanting to cancel my order because I have changed my mind

  • Tech_Analyst_UK Rob Anderson #TipToeingOutOfHibernation (@Tech_Analyst_UK) reported from Bedford, England

2nd day running that @virginmedia services have dropped out. Unacceptable with so many working from home. Chatbot just redirects to service status #fail

  • charleshill23 Charlie (@charleshill23) reported from Desborough, England

@virginmedia hi, I am utterly disgusted with the way I have been spoken to on the phone when I called to talk about an account. I then had a call back and was spoke to like a deprived human being. I want to leave your service as your customer service skills are an abomination.

  • Gturv GTT (@Gturv) reported from Bedford, England

In a constantly changing world we need something to rely on. @virginmedia can guarantee that you will be kept on hold long enough to see if you die waiting for help. #crapcustomerserviceasusual

  • Tech_Analyst_UK Rob Anderson #TipToeingOutOfHibernation (@Tech_Analyst_UK) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia I'm well aware of the service status page, but when it just gives a generic 'we know there's a problem and hope to get it fixed by 3pm' it's not very helpful. But seemingly the chatbot is even less so. Just lost connection for the 3rd time in 28 hours. #Anyone4Starlink?

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • NoTotiNoParty . (@NoTotiNoParty) reported

@virginmedia No area issue It's a new installation the guy I spoke to yesterday said it was something your end and he's passing it to the team he said it'd be done within a few hours still nothing been on the phone for hour and no ones picking up not a great start really

  • Ben_fisher Brendon fisher (@Ben_fisher) reported

Why is is so bloody hard the cancel @virginmedia broadband. Out of contract at the end of the month, an hour to give 30 days notice and still the call centre is insisting on tying to up-sale, how many times do we need to say PLEASE CANCEL. Now resorted to cancelling by letter.

  • purple_dragon25 kelly (she/her) (neurodiv.) (@purple_dragon25) reported

@Angela_Griffin @virginmedia No issues here with plusnet. Great service, they really look after me.

  • SueDawes9 Sue Dawes (@SueDawes9) reported

@virginmedia I realise this, you could offer a direct contact so my issues can be addressed rather than a generic number. Where I’m placed on hold yet again, go through security and then to be transferred and wait again. All a considerable drain on my time with no account for my commitments

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia It works intermittently. When I speak to an advisor they fix the issue at that moment. Then, the next day it’ll cut out again and the process repeats. It was working when the engineer left, but it didn’t last 24 hours. Intermittent isn’t good enough. I rely on you for work.

  • SueDawes9 Sue Dawes (@SueDawes9) reported

@virginmedia @virginmedia I can do so as I have no choice. Your answer once again highlights the extremely poor customer service. I’ve already told you it’s taken 2 months. Due to your system failings you ask me to call YOU and no recognition that your service has fallen short. Classic !!

  • SueDawes9 Sue Dawes (@SueDawes9) reported

@virginmedia Example 1 On Friday 30 Sept I waited from 7pm with for agent to connect to my call. It didn’t happen no apology or even a message to say it was a dropped call as you close at 9pm. Had to go through process all over again the following day when you had issues. I have more examples

  • _bethanwi bethanwi (@_bethanwi) reported

@virginmedia It’s an issue on all devices. Ethernet connection isn’t really relevant to test because all of our devices rely on Wi-Fi. We have about 3 devices using it at once max, but usually it’s one at a time (either the TV/PS5) we always use our phones on 4G because of how awful it is

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia It’s everything connected via Wi-Fi. I don’t have the connect app. I check for service status on your website and it usually says there isn’t an issue, but that doesn’t reflect my service.

  • notrag21 The Notrag (@notrag21) reported

@virginmedia is there a known issue for virgin media internet customers, connecting to the playstation network?
