@guardian @virginmedia will not honour prices online over the phone. Website won’t let me downgrade and @virginmedia only do this on the phone. £52pm vs £34pm online. I can only downgrade on the phone. Any advice as they don’t have a clue and are holding me to ransom! #help

@virginmedia ...Whereas other providers do. .@ThreeUK, for example, lead the way when it comes to roaming. Couple that with not offering existing customers the best deal when it comes to renewing their contract and you’ve just lost a customer.

@nerans1 @virginmedia They are on auto pilot. My best one last week. Letter from HMRC dated April 15th asking for a payment (which I had already made, employer mess up ) to be paid by 31/1/2019! Cut me off but found way round it...refuse to say what problem is about!

@virginmedia The point is that you charge for a broadband service that is nonexistent. And then charge for another 30 days when a customer cancels due to non provision of said service. I have no problem paying the notice period if I actually had Virgin broadband during that time. @Ofcom

@virginmedia It started just after 1:30. It gave up at just before 5. With no Internet at the time it was not very helpful as I was having to go to the upstairs to get a signal

@virginmedia I called up to change my payment date and the customer service guy kept raising his voice saying I wasn’t being cooperative! I asked to be passed over to someone else and the next lady dealt with my request perfectly fine. Don’t know who hurt him, but that guy needs to chill out.

@reddevilpreston @virginmedia Don’t even get me started. When I tried to change my package, the sales dude pushed the most expensive package on me and lied about some of the details on it. I had **** internet for 2 months until they came to sort it. Turns out the installation guy left a faulty wire in my hub
