Lee (@LeeDeacy90) reported@virginmedia who in their right mind decided that a software update was a good idea on the weekend the Premier League launches. Literally had no issue with my Sky or Sky+ yet you choose to do a update on the weekend the football launches. Absolutely shambolic decision making.
-
Stephen Maddock (@stephenm68) reportedIn the meantime the @virginmedia ‘supervisor’ whom I waited 90 mins to talk to on Tues night, & who promised to escalate our outage to engineering so I could have SOME INFORMATION, has of course not been in touch Just like the other supervisor who made the same promise last week
-

Pathetic!
-
A.Brown (@_DundeePerfect_) reported@virginmedia Read things accurately I never said that I do. I would not be mad enough to think I can run a Game and Stream a Picture in 4K using wifi... I don't use wifi in the house at all, TVs and PC are wired, only my Mobile connects to wifi but only to save Data when at Home.

Gary Adams (@GazzaAdams) reportedHi @virginmedia This latest update appears to directly contradict the update you sent me earlier today. At 12:57, I was told that an engineer **was already on site and working to fix the problem**, with an estimated repair time of **18:00 today, 19/08/2026**. At 15:24, I am now being told that you have identified the problem and that an engineer **is on their way**, with the estimated repair time moved to **14:10 on 21/08/2026**. This is the original date that was stated 2 weeks ago. Could you please provide an accurate explanation of what is actually happening with fault **F012421201**? In particular: * Was an engineer on site earlier today, as stated? * If so, why is an engineer now apparently only “on their way”? * What has happened to cause the estimated repair time to move from this evening to Friday afternoon? * Is 21/08/2026 at 14:10 now a reliable estimate, or is this simply an automated placeholder? I appreciate that faults can take longer than expected to repair. What is frustrating is receiving contradictory information that makes it impossible to understand the actual status of the fault. Please provide a clear and factual update rather than another automated status message.

Kaiser Soothsays (@_SonOfTheDesert) reported@virginmedia No. Because it’ll end up as a hard reset and we’ll lose all our recorded stuff. When are you going to bring out a box that saves content to the cloud? That way, there’d be no issue.
-
Richard Geraint Evans (@RGE_Art) reported@Strudlehoffer @JFab208 @virginmedia I really do feel your pain. Are there any companies out there that even pretend to offer acceptable customer service?
