Lucid Dream Pictures (@luciddreamphoto) reported from Hitchin, England
@virginmedia I’ll ring your call centre again tomorrow. When I’m paying nearly £65 a month for a service I’m not getting I don’t really feel I should have to post to a online community forum to solve the problem. A Virgin tech should come to my home & fix it!
-
Su Felce (@swimmingsu) reported from Cardington, England
So frustrated with @virginmedia spend over an hour on hold only to be cut off by their customer service rep #whatcustomerservice #frustrated #zerocustomerservice
-
tim (@Claydon8Tim) reported from Hitchin, England
@virginmedia Sorry. That’s it. Sorry. Yes I’ve checked and the WiFi is now working. I also checked and I’ll still be billed the full amount for a 2nd rate service that doesn’t in anyway match your glitzy empty advertising campaigns.
-
Rob Anderson #TipToeingOutOfHibernation (@Tech_Analyst_UK) reported from Bedford, England
2nd day running that @virginmedia services have dropped out. Unacceptable with so many working from home. Chatbot just redirects to service status #fail
-
Chris Belcher (@PC_Lawyer) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@virginmedia broadband down again in SG6 ... makes home working a pretty frustrating experience!
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@virginmedia @mouthwaite Hi John; just jumping in on this. You really need to start advising customers properlyit doesn’t matter how many technicians visit it won’t solve the problem of the poor standard router and your default settings.
-
Su Felce (@swimmingsu) reported from Cardington, England
@virginmedia 1/2 been on the phone for over an hour on hold waiting for customer service - finally get through and the customer service rep cuts me off before I even say what I want...
-
Maria-Luisa Prezio (@Tranquil_Maria) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@virginmedia The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Changing a minor detail impossible!!!
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@AdamDea29742908 @virginmedia But buying one between £50 and £200 will probably suit most and if it turns out it doesn’t solve your problems it hasn’t broken the bank. I went for an Asus one at about £120. Netgear is another strong brand. I had poor WiFi for years and it was a massive improvement. 2/2
-
tim (@Claydon8Tim) reported from Hitchin, England
@virginmedia I have been forced to work from home and work internationally. For the past 48hrs your WiFi has been down in Hertfordshire. Completely. Have been unable to work and have thus lost money. Get a costumer service that works or I will take my business elsewhere
-
Paul Clayton (@PaulClayton25) reported from Stevenage District, England
@virginmedia loving the great customer services #NOT. No reply to my tweet from this morning! When this issue is repaired I demand a deduction, as this issue looks like it is going to affect my wife’s work tomorrow!
-
stevie hind (@steviehind) reported from Stevenage District, England
@virginmedia Not really sure. All I know is that for some reason in various parts of my house the signal becomes very poor. Whereas it used to be perfect. Hub has been in the same place since I’ve had it.
-
Stuart Paterson (@Gordonsalive200) reported from Bedford, England
Are there any other UK @skytv customers having trouble with Sky Q boxes over a #virginmedia broadband connection?
-
Andrew Morgan (@AndrewMorgan64) reported from Stevenage District, England
@virginmedia the worst customer service I have experienced and what a rude person Sidney was and she would not transfer us to complaint department
-
Tony (@tony_cop) reported from Ampthill, England
@LloydGriffith @virginmedia The worst company to deal with by some distance. Can never talk to anyone. Just some automated guff. Where you go round in circles
-
Paul Clayton (@PaulClayton25) reported from Stevenage District, England
@virginmedia WiFi isn’t a 100% but tv is working fine. I’m pretty sure that I am paying too much for just WiFi and tv, on my account says I have a phone line which I never had??
-
Mike Desborough (@mjdes) reported from Stevenage District, England
Hi @virginmedia I have to wait 72 hours to speak to a manager about an issue. This is after 5 hours on the phone to you and only a manager can authorise what I need. Shocking considering the amount of money we pay you. We have no working broadband for a 2 key worker house
-
stevie hind (@steviehind) reported from Stevenage District, England
@virginmedia Yes I have spoken to your tech guys. I have tried everything they suggested to no avail. All they say is I need to pay £5 extra a month for a booster which I think is unfair as I have done nothing to cause this issue
-
Lucid Dream Pictures (@luciddreamphoto) reported from Hitchin, England
@virginmedia No known issues on everything (broadband tv & phone)
-
Hollie O'Connor (@Holliejoanne23) reported from Stevenage District, England
Hi @virginmedia I’ve just been on hold for an hour as I need to speak to you on behalf of my Nan who have recently been widowed. Your colleague has just hung up on me mid-conversation. Can somebody call me back please as a matter of urgency, she is a vulnerable customer.

@virginmedia I’ve been trying all morning, all it kept saying is sorry you’ve caught us working please try again later, hence my reason for coming on Twitter. I’ve tried in the past to get something done but can never seem to get it sorted.

Ali L (@alisonscallyson) reported

lynne copperthwaite (@01Lmc) reported
@virginmedia My internet is not working properly and hasn’t been for a while. Also my phone line doesn’t work and hasn’t done since I moved in October 2020. Despite trying to highlight the issues nothing has been done. I hope you will be able to sort it.
-
Gareth (@YorkshireGareth) reported
@virginmedia Thanks for the info, I managed to get through earlier and thankfully my issue was resolved within a few minutes.
-
Aaron Cornish 🏳️🌈 (@aaroncornish) reported
@virginmedia The point is, keep marking as resolved, and the next day it fails again and it's a 'new issue' - so have to register again for updates (that never comes) and the clock starts ticking again for compensation (that never comes). Has been happening for weeks. How can I escalate?

Kel Curwood (@KelCurwood34) reported
Customer service from @virginmedia @O2 ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING! Been with o2 a matter of hours & already regretting the change!!!
