  • stephen_j_moran Stephen Moran (@stephen_j_moran) reported from Harrow Weald, England

@virginmedia I think it's a standard engineer visit to address the broadband outage. We're hoping it won't lead to another cycle of cabling attempts, although I understand that things have to take their course and hopefully get there in the end.

  • HarrisonsDeli Harrison's Deli (@HarrisonsDeli) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia what a bunch of uselessless you are. Sick of paying for your services when there is no service. Call you, sit through a 5 minute voice recorded message for you to then announce you’re closed. Virgin is a total joke!

  • jfkent93 James (@jfkent93) reported from Hounslow, England

@virginmedia I have called your team 3 times and been hung up on each time. I am contacting about a problem, please can someone reach out on this.

  • e17caz Caz 💙 (@e17caz) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia my internet has gone down every day this week (and again now, as I’m about to start remote teaching). I’ve checked and the website says there are no problems in our area but something isn’t right and I can’t carry on like this....please help ASAP #e17

  • nadeemshassam Nadeem S. Hassam (@nadeemshassam) reported from Hillingdon, England

Virgin Media putting up prices. Under the guise of network upgrades! “like it or leave it” they say. Fair enough, “leave” it is. @SkyUK @bt_uk I’m coming to one of you! #leavevirginmedia #virginmedia

  • alexrhystaylor 𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐱 𝐫𝐡𝐲𝐬-𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫 (@alexrhystaylor) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia there is a fault. it is getting repaired by 1.55 pm every day for the last week. apparently. were kafka born a few decades later, he would be structuring stories around the baroque architecture of your customer services provision.

  • noneybean Antje Southern (@noneybean) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia Your customer service tops the worst ever experienced. Paying for top connection and receiving intermittent and weak broadband signal. Hour long waiting times on the phone and evasive explanations. Absolutely shambles

  • Flaminhaystack Antonia (@Flaminhaystack) reported from London, England

@virginmedia I've had engineers round from Virgin media on several occasions. Once I had no Internet for weeks because the engineer wired up the connection to the wrong house outside and I didn't even get a refund for the lack of service.

  • infolakedistri1 info@lakedistrictcottages.net (@infolakedistri1) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia I have now been without broadband for over 24 hours and on your service status page, it says I have no problem. When I call, you admit the problem but give no indication when it will be resolved. When can I expect broadband in Nw3?

  • stephen_j_moran Stephen Moran (@stephen_j_moran) reported from Harrow Weald, England

@virginmedia All the customer service people I've spoken to (by mobile phone) have been very nice and tried their best with tests and notes on the file etc. The work on cabling seems to be a law into itself and repeatedly tried & fails, as far as I can gather, to though that is only surmise.

  • Aiel_warrior Ash (@Aiel_warrior) reported from Barnet, England

@virginmedia hi I would like a number that works so I can cancel my contract as I’m baffled tried 0345 454 1111 for the past week and no service hangs up? Can’t email anyone no chat bot!

  • Phil_precious1 Phil (@Phil_precious1) reported from Eltham, England

@virginmedia When I eventually got someone to deal with the issue was after waiting on the line over an hour, I was told someone will contact me within 24hrs. I’m still waiting since last week Thursday.

  • Spinnofflondon Spinnofflondon (@Spinnofflondon) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia #hampstead still suffering in the village as the signal is still not fixed day 4 !

  • stephen_j_moran Stephen Moran (@stephen_j_moran) reported from Harrow Weald, England

@virginmedia The local council resurfaced the pavement outside of our front garden wall shortly before these problems arose, so we're wondering if they damaged the cables there. I informed the engineer who came and customer services about that.

  • alexrhystaylor 𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐱 𝐫𝐡𝐲𝐬-𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫 (@alexrhystaylor) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia i’ll be patient, if you cough up the £££ i’m paying for a service i’m not getting. fair deal? a statutory right i think...

  • Flaminhaystack Antonia (@Flaminhaystack) reported from London, England

@jenniseex @bt_uk @virginmedia Yep. I have very poor Internet in my home and pay large prices. Everytime I phone to get it rectified, I'm told there is nothing wrong with the WiFi and my house is the issue. Pathetic. I detest them

  • Phil_precious1 Phil (@Phil_precious1) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia Chatting with you is not solving my problem. This is day 6 with no internet to work in my house. Your company took it upon themselves to change my landline without informing me. I have called the old provider to find out if the line is still available with BT

  • alexrhystaylor 𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐱 𝐫𝐡𝐲𝐬-𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫 (@alexrhystaylor) reported from Poplar, England

we’ve had, in your words @virginmedia an “local issues” in E1 for over a week. strangled uploads (0.02mbps) and patchy downloads + intermittent connection. please fix critical infrastructure asap and also... a refund. ta xxx.

  • SamMiles87 Sam Miles (@SamMiles87) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Hi john, no there isn’t. All status pages and troubleshooter told me it was my devices at fault not the network, yet your colleague told me on phone it was an ‘area issue’ (unclear where) and would not say more other than 5-7day interruption. Can you DM me for my phone number?

  • PhilBolton78 Phil B (@PhilBolton78) reported

@virginmedia You want me to raise the complaint again? Why can't someone just pick the problem up and get it sorted. It's not difficult. We've now had 5 or 6 people say they'll get it sorted. Haven't had a response from a single one of them.

  • GarethTrigg Gareth (@GarethTrigg) reported

@virginmedia Hi. No there are no known issues. I ran the tests on myvirginmedia and when I click through it asks if any lights are on ,which they are ,but the hub shown is different. And I currently have no connection. Could this be this issue if mine is an older model?

  • bludogsix Ethan Truss (@bludogsix) reported

@virginmedia If we can't get a proper fix within the next week, we are going to take legal action against you as you have been providing virtually no internet for a good couple of months while still happily taking our money. We will never recommend this provider to anyone.

  • NoelRobson2 Noel Robson (@NoelRobson2) reported

@virginmedia So I rang, was toldnits better to text. Texted at 11:48 and had no response since then. How can a comms company be so bad at comms??

  • realbeautyboss TRBB (@realbeautyboss) reported

@virginmedia My internet cut out randomly. I reset everything as per your internet guidance which was useless. I then get informed an engineer needs to come and fix this and I have to wait until Friday afternoon. How on Earth can I work like this? It’s not like my office is open

  • Nickwatson888 Nick watson (@Nickwatson888) reported

@virginmedia Why would I do that?? I need help from you? No WiFi for over 30 minutes now, can you please send an engineer

  • CustomerAnthony Customer Anthony (@CustomerAnthony) reported

@virginmedia My point is that you never used to, not on those websites. The requirement (& only requirement) was to turn off WiFi & turn on mobile data. That provided authentication. But it seems you're unaware of this - & I assume that these websites are now gone forever 😞

  • WhiteSteve16 White Steve (@WhiteSteve16) reported

@virginmedia could you tell your beardy CEO to get his arse down to earth and fix my broadband.

  • ItsMeFreeman1 ItsMeFreeman (@ItsMeFreeman1) reported

@virginmedia Just gimme a sec. I'm on a phone to your 'brilliant customer service' team. Will come back.

  • ukparky parky (@ukparky) reported
