@virginmedia how do I get my account details if you have never emailed me or sent me and letters. I don’t even know my account number and have to wait till you text to say my bill is overdue to be able to pay my account. What the hell? Customer service is no help so wtf?

  • nan2thou
PAT WEBB (@nan2thou) reported from Enfield Lock, England

@virginmedia Not now there isn’t. But there was no service at 8am until 10.30. T happens on a regular basis but it doesn’t stop the price going up.

@PaulWelsh_UK @virginmedia There is no service. 26 November reported - 6th March earliest date for works. I was past to no less than 6 different teams before finally getting somewhere and then being cut off. Anyway welcome home my friend - hope you have more luck than me!

  • WhiskyOneIce
Mark 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@WhiskyOneIce) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

Be careful if you ever want to cancel a @virginmedia account, I wrote to them, twice as per their T&C because you can never get through on chat or phone, they deny receipt of letters because you cant send recorded delivery so they just keep sending bills and chasing payments

  • scuttyoftheyard
Andrew Colman (@scuttyoftheyard) reported from Ilford, England

@virginmedia Been trying since 10.00 am and the priority app is still down.....interesting use of the word 'priority '....

  • WhiskyOneIce
Mark 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@WhiskyOneIce) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia It's okay I've taken it up with CEDR now and let them resolve it, I'm just highlighting to people how difficult it is to cancel contracts and the fact that VM consistently "loose" letters

  • DEDNaive
Debbs Durston (@DEDNaive) reported from Enfield Lock, England

@virginmedia Look just leave it tonight. If it’s the same in the morning I’ll contact customer service to see how long it will take to close my account. Cheers for trying to help.

  • macon1375
Mark Connolly (@macon1375) reported from Crayford, England

@virginmedia @virginmedia can have no rival to the worst customer service out there! Said resolved an issue after held for over an hour only to find it’s not and I now can’t get back in touch. 2nd day work ruined

  • leighbooker
    Leigh Booker 🐈‍⬛ 3.5% #FBPE #FBPPR #GTTO (@leighbooker) reported from Welling, England

@virginmedia It has just come back on. The annoying thing is your website said no problems, so I went through the usual, unplugging, checking cables etc. only for the website to be updated later. I should have learned by now.

  • GodofwarBrown
therealmasonbrown (@GodofwarBrown) reported from Walthamstow, England

  • Andrew007Uk
Dr Andrew Fleming 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@Andrew007Uk) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia I performed the reset, it still does not recognise the code. Very disappointed. On Wednesday I wasted 3 hours on the phone talking to 13 of your people one of whom brazenly told me to fix all issues I must buy an upgrade. I am sorry to say the whole experience is abysmal 💔

  • NoddyMaccy
    ✖️𝔻𝕖𝕒𝕟 𝕄𝕔𝔽𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕖✖️ (@NoddyMaccy) reported from Romford, England

@virginmedia I contacted customer services for an update on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I was informed by your Twitter account I wouldn’t need to send my current phone back until I receive my new one. I was then informed by the gentleman on the phone my new phone won’t be sent until I send this

  • BBLn15
Helen Reihill (@BBLn15) reported from Tottenham, England

@virginmedia It’s the same number I’ve had for over 30 years. Read previous tweets! I wanted rid of Virgin because Customer service is really lousy. I see you’re pushing the blame to other provider without evidence. Sounds about right How long wait for someone to answer the phone today?

  • GraemePuttock
Graeme Puttock (@GraemePuttock) reported from Enfield Lock, England

@virginmedia service status on your website is not correct for the N9 area. The site says no issues but CS line confirms there are issues and engineers are working on it. No useable broadband since Friday. Will we get refunds and what's the ETA on a fix?

The £28 million fine by @Ofcom was long overdue. Hopefully, it sends a clear message to @virginmedia and the rest of the industry that making it difficult for customers to cancel simply isn’t acceptable.

One of many reasons I would never go back to Virgin Media, no matter how much of a “good deal” they are offering. Awful company.

  • VirginMediaNews
    Virgin Media News (@VirginMediaNews) reported

The Government is asking its TDs to vote against a Sinn Féin proposal to begin preparations for a United Ireland. The bill, being debated in the Dáil this evening, would require the Government to establish a Citizens' Assembly on Irish unity. Ministers say the proposal is being rushed and that the issue requires a broader, more considered approach. More on Virgin Media PLAY. #VMNews
