@virginmedia This seems to be the standard message coming from Virgin Media. “Computer says no”. If you can’t see the issue with this then you (Virgin Media) are the problem. I’m inclined to contact the ombudsman as you have sold me a service which you blatantly cannot provide or install.

@virginmedia putting their tariffs up by 17.3% from 1st April - that’s 3.9% over the Retail Price Index Inflation of 13.4%…people getting nowhere near this sort of increase in their pay packets…hang your heads in shame especially in a cost of living crisis.

  • andy_s_battle
Andrew Battle (@andy_s_battle) reported from East Ham, England

@virginmedia But cutting people off to enforce this is unethical, besides no previous communication has indicated this and the solution is not convenient with where they want to do this and no suggestion to reposition my hub

  • Twiterteroo

@virginmedia Folks, amuse me, why on earth would I or anyone complete a survey after leaving you when you couldn’t deal with the issue within 2 months and dare I say the plus 20 years we had an undiagnosed fault!?

@virginmedia Hi. Have no wifi (green light) and despite rebooting several times have a had no luck. This has happened after following your instruction to reboot for ‘faster speed’. Please advise asap - no issues in the area according to your website.

  • BobCratchitt
Andee Byford (@BobCratchitt) reported from Romford, England

@virginmedia Yes I have checked the service status, it is the first thing I do & all was fine. The issues is with the cable Ethernet & the phone connection in the Hub 4. I don’t use your WiFi setup as my house is fully cabled for networking. I am a Network Architect, so have done basic tests

  • scuttyoftheyard

@virginmedia The only winners are the scalpers. You and O2 should hang your heads in shame at how this has happened. Disgusting.

  • GregoryRasputin
    Ivan Elmanov (@GregoryRasputin) reported

@virginmedia I don’t have a problem returning it, I have a problem with your company threatening to charge me because I didn’t send the router back straight away, maybe give people more than two weeks to send it back before harassing them.

  • ACraftyOne
    Crafty (@ACraftyOne) reported

@virginmedia This is the problem I have 5-6 responses from your incompetent customer service team. I have requested a deadlock letter which they refuse to provide. Just to clarify that it is a scam. I paid for the service on my contract as shown, now you are charging me twice.

  • DillB1976
    Dylan Brown (@DillB1976) reported

@virginmedia my account has been locked for 2 weeks now, I keep getting told it will be resolved but nothing is happening, apart from me spending lots of time on the phone to people who can not or do want to help.

  • drdjmarks
    Skids (@drdjmarks) reported

I've had half a dozen or so emails from @virginmedia in the last 6 months offering me a new hub at no extra cost. Each time I'm asked to click the link to order, but each time it merely takes me through to my current service status with no option to order? Extremely annoying.

  • Novemberpoppy82
    Poppyfields18 (@Novemberpoppy82) reported

@virginmedia why on earth is my internet so slow. Only been with you 2 months and it is terrible for the past 3 days. My son is trying to revise for his GCSEs for 2 exams tomorrow and this is not good. Nothing will load. Get this sorted asap

  • idczn
    D (@idczn) reported

The only contract I ever signed with Virgin Media was in 2018, and it continues to this day. I have never changed or upgraded it; I only occasionally tried to report home network connection issues. It turns out that in November 2024, a two-year contract was accepted, which I only found out about in 2025 when I wanted to cancel their services. I couldn't leave them XD However, checking who did this on my behalf and when (because it certainly wasn't me) was impossible, as I had no way to log into my Virgin account Now I cansee- the accepted contract has different number? There is no any signature of mine- and information that was sent to e-mail: back then controlled by hacker

  • RyanStringer72
    Ryan Stringer (@RyanStringer72) reported

@IamCarrieagain @virginmedia Cancel them. Go elsewhere. You shouldn't be paying for something your not getting. They are bullies. I don't understand why people pay for these services.

  • TeessideDCooper
