-
grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England@virginmedia A number of times. But let’s be honest, they’re nothing but messengers. There is no escalation, and they can’t even call the construction company to escalate issues. As someone who has worked within many projects teams, and mapped business processes, yours is simply shocking
-
Nick Miller 🇺🇦 (@NickMillerUK) reported from South Ockendon, England@virginmedia It’s everything downstream of the LAN ports, so wifi on the box is on and working but all his wired network is offline. I have asked him to check all the cabling to make sure it’s all connected.
-
Simon Norris (@sinozza) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@virginmedia I spent over an hour on the phone yesterday trying to get through to a customer service rep only to get cut off. Still waiting to hear on WhatsApp and been on hold this afternoon 45 mins and still holding???? Whats going on??
-
Nancy S (@mizznansea) reported from Aveley, EnglandSo trying to cancel @virginmedia services and the stalling tactics being used are not cool. If customers want to leave they have every right to do so. Let them go.
-
grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England@virginmedia This seems to be the standard message coming from Virgin Media. “Computer says no”. If you can’t see the issue with this then you (Virgin Media) are the problem. I’m inclined to contact the ombudsman as you have sold me a service which you blatantly cannot provide or install.
-
Katie Purkiss (@KatiePurkiss) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@virginmedia I’ve sorted the issue. But now there’s no way of cancelling the engineer! Can’t get through on phone. Appointment isn’t showing on their account, so can’t cancel there. WhatsApp is useless - been waiting for an Agent to be available since about 1pm!

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
megb (@Gbarch1) reported@virginmedia Our service in CM16 went down on Thursday 28th @ 10pm. Ridiculous 'updates' have been sent every few hours. The supposed fix is now 2nd June. What on earth is going on?
-
pedwards (@petepedwards) reported@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia They are on a separate network to most other providers so you can get a contract with someone like BT/Sky etc while Virgin dispute is sorted. Three also offer a 5g based home internet service that's dependent on mobile signal.
-
UAVHive (@UAVHive) reported@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia I'm not in the least bit surprised, they have the worst customer service in telecoms.
-
Pete 😷 #COVIDisAirborne (@PeteUK7) reported@virginmedia Good heavens. You think an AI response sending me back to the beginning of the bereavement process is in any way appropriate? It doesn't deal with my issue or answer the questions I asked. Find a human, a senior one at your place and do this properly.
-
John Priestley (@JohnPriestley70) reported@virginmedia I am trying to link. I can get as far as confirm transfer. After a few seconds I get an error message page saying something about expired, then it jumps to VM page with login. Could not get a screenshot of the error message, it disappeared that fast.
-
Blain (@Blaaiin) reportedHi @virginmedia, I have been passed from pillow to post since yesterday morning and have been lied to about an appointment that was booked for someone to come to my property and repair my internet and TV services. How do I escalate this? Honestly, the service is a shambles!
-
Suzanne Cornyn (@cornynthecob) reportedMy Internet has been intermittent over the last 3 weeks. @virginmedia engineer was supposed to come out today but never turned up. Turns out he signed the job off as completed even tho he didn't turn up. Internet still going off and on.
-
Simon (@cleggy1966) reported@virginmedia Yes. Because there was still an outage in the area, you cancelled the appointments. My issue was separate to the outage, but apparently you just cancel any appointments when there is an outage, irrespective of whether the issue relates to it or not. Madness.
-
۟ (@carefreeleon) reported@virginmedia Intermittent or no signal in my area for weeks. It's not acceptable to be paying the amount we do and be limited to 10 MBPS. If we didn't have to dig up the driveway to change service, we'd of already done so.
-
Sam Tilston (@samtilston) reportedThis isn't just a bad press cycle for Virgin Media O2. We are tracking a specific pattern of synthetic 'outage' reports designed to trigger algorithmic short-selling and erode public trust in UK telecoms infrastructure during a sensitive regulatory window.
