@virginmedia what is the number for your complaints department? It seems impossible to actually terminate my contract with you. Am I in the Hotel California?
-
Andee Byford (@BobCratchitt) reported from Romford, England
@virginmedia Yes I have checked the service status, it is the first thing I do & all was fine. The issues is with the cable Ethernet & the phone connection in the Hub 4. I don’t use your WiFi setup as my house is fully cabled for networking. I am a Network Architect, so have done basic tests
-
DragonFish 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇮🇹 (@discobabe76) reported from Sutton at Hone, England
@virginmedia No as I look after an elderly lady with parkinsons on Thursdays which means she doesn't get to get out of the house if I don't see her. So it's booked in for Friday. What help doninhave till then? Or reimbursement? I'm free every day after 3pm & I'm free Tuesday all day

charlie and Blossom (@LaurenLFlower) reported from Romford, England
@virginmedia Hi I have an issue with my current plan? It says I’ve cancelled my O2 benefits but I never received the sim nor did I cancel.
-
grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England
@virginmedia I have spoken to your CS team about raising a complaint and have been told that the complaints procedure is for existing customers. As I am yet to go live, I am not considered a customer and therefore have no where to go.
-
Lewis Allen ⚒ (@_Lewis_A) reported from Romford, England
So @virginmedia want £288 to cancel a contract I've had since 2018. Can I get through to anyone to speak about it? NO!!
-
Amanda Birrell (@blackheathma) reported from London, England
@MartinSLewis It is the worst company I have ever dealt with and I’m now actively discouraging others to use Virgin Media. Cancelling is also very difficult and deliberately so
-
grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England
@virginmedia A number of times. But let’s be honest, they’re nothing but messengers. There is no escalation, and they can’t even call the construction company to escalate issues. As someone who has worked within many projects teams, and mapped business processes, yours is simply shocking
-
Luther Blissett (@LutherB40510976) reported from London, England
@virginmedia can you give me a direct number to call to cancel my contract. I've used whataspp / webchat and spoken to two people in last 24 hours - but to no avail.
-
DragonFish 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇮🇹 (@discobabe76) reported from Sutton at Hone, England
@MayorofLondon Shame they provide the most terrible customer service and treat you like they've got you by the short and curlies! Pay £400 a year for a service, custome service agents are like robots and stuff you for days when it doesn't work with no alternative offered! @virginmedia
-
DragonFish 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇮🇹 (@discobabe76) reported from Sutton at Hone, England
@virginmedia 8/ have to pay if it came down to a third party router intimating that the fault was mine. No appointment till Thursday! I tried to explain that I care for an elderly lady and he wouldn't let me speak and kept interrupting me which was incredibly rude. I advised him to let me
-
Roger Highfield (@RogerHighfield) reported from London, England
@virginmedia, your app does not seem to think there's a problem with the internet in area 21. I think different. Can you check?!
-
DragonFish 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇮🇹 (@discobabe76) reported from Sutton at Hone, England
@virginmedia 11/ I've never been 6 days without internet and help was much more available in the past with virgin. Now, customers are being left high and dry.
-
DragonFish 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇮🇹 (@discobabe76) reported from Sutton at Hone, England
@virginmedia 9/ speak but he kept interrupting me. He had no help for me for having no internet for 6 days. He kept sighing and refused to put me through to anyone who could offer anymore help.
-
grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England
@virginmedia This seems to be the standard message coming from Virgin Media. “Computer says no”. If you can’t see the issue with this then you (Virgin Media) are the problem. I’m inclined to contact the ombudsman as you have sold me a service which you blatantly cannot provide or install.
-
DragonFish 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇮🇹 (@discobabe76) reported from Sutton at Hone, England
@virginmedia 4/ I work from home so asked what can I do in the meantime? No help given. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Waited 15 mins to speak to Supervisor ( 45 mins total already spent on phone)..
-
Roger Highfield (@RogerHighfield) reported from London, England
@virginmedia My broadband is down again - area21. Any idea of when it will be fixed?
-
Burnley Dave:Not woke just human.💙🌈🍺🇪🇺 (@tlcko1882) reported from London, England
@journokeith @virginmedia Good as in they acknowledged your existence was what I meant. That's how their "customer services" is set up, they don't have the staff based in the UK to deal with it and all they can do is what they are doing.
-
Lewis Allen ⚒ (@_Lewis_A) reported from Romford, England
On phone to @virginmedia for 55 mins to cancel, speak to 4 different people about a mis-sold service and then when I ask them to produce my contract they hang up. Not happy.
-
David Ball (@dicksielives) reported from Romford, England
Hi @virginmedia I ordered a new phone via my wife (who is already on Virgin mobile) last Friday. I was told to wait for a confirmation email which I still have not received. Can you help? I have the order No.

-
Sophie Yates (@sophie_yxx) reported
@virginmedia No link for my problem tho! I was told that I wouldn’t be charged until all my services were up & running and yet you sent me a bill dated 2nd June for £20 a month more than I had been paying on the contract u were supposed to be migrating. I gave me the wrong no as well….
-
Money Bee (@MoneyBenjamin) reported
@QuickStopHicks Typical Virgin Media! We have these problems A LOT!
-
Sophie Yates (@sophie_yxx) reported
@virginmedia That seems to be acceptable service to you though. I have been a customer of yours for over fifteen years and there seems to be no acknowledgement of that fact.
-
Rob Allen (@_roballen) reported
@virginmedia This same thing happened yesterday, web checker says all is fine. Then later on after listening to the automated call it says there is a problem. But it feels purposefully difficult to get somewhere with vm
-
Braan Girl (@braangirl) reported
@virginmedia My point is that the 14 day cooling off regulation is not being followed here. She should be able to cancel the new contract - which she STILL hasn't been sent the new terms and conditions of, 14 days later.
-
Craig Aspey (@cr41g4) reported
@virginmedia 1) it’s not a first bill. It’s a continuation of service with a package change, because if I didn’t change package I’d be paying double every month. 2) I wasn’t told at the time of agreeing to the renewal. This is tone deaf from Virgin. Chargin double in a month. No.
-
Sophie Yates (@sophie_yxx) reported
@virginmedia I just need to get the issue resolved. I have been treated appallingly. You left me with no phone for over a week and were going to leave me with no broadband for that time as well.
