An engineer came on Friday but its still not working. Charges have been appearing on my phone bill for calls I have not made. This has happened twice since November.

If you can’t see the issue with this then you (Virgin Media) are the problem. I’m inclined to contact the ombudsman as you have sold me a service which you blatantly cannot provide or install.
