-
rachel Wheelhouse 🇺🇦 (@RWheelhouse1) reported from Chelmsford, England@virginmedia 6 days since moving to Virgin, we are having issues, the WiFi won't reach our outside cameras. After completing the troubleshooting guides + waiting for over an hour for a chat agent + 30 mins on the phone, we still haven't spoken to a human....not impressed
-
Mark 🏴 (@WhiskyOneIce) reported from Sutton at Hone, England@virginmedia Yes I have chased and chased and spent 4 hours today on WhatsApp, no advise just can't help because I have outstanding bill....no the line isn't active because it was ported over to Community Fibre on 8th July
-
Dr Andrew Fleming 🇬🇧 🏴 (@Andrew007Uk) reported from Sutton at Hone, EnglandAfter a mammoth session on the phone to 6 of your departments to arrange interim broadband given your service failed in Nov. & won't be fixed to March I spoke to a helpful chap called David in the Customer Care Dept before I was cut off. Can you help reconnect me @virginmedia 🙏🏻
-
Mark Connolly (@macon1375) reported from Crayford, England@virginmedia They advise they would send a signal to router, I then turn off after 5 mins, for 10 mins and when back on all will be working! Well it didn’t make a difference and my speed test shows my downloads dropped from 236mbs to 36. The issue is uploads tho at 0.5mbps. On hold again!
-
Phil (@feyipuk) reported from Crayford, England@virginmedia I'm sorry for the two poor support staff who are trying to sell us new remote controls, routers and O2 sims - for more money - till we hit the nuclear option and say we're leaving to get what we're asking? We're loyal customers; why does it need to get to that?
-
Phil (@feyipuk) reported from Crayford, England@virginmedia Phoned, and as expected; they can't just "put this right". The equipment and service are working fine. That the dish is broken and there is little slack to enable me to bury the cable deeper is due to local engineers. Will just have to dig trench, break cable and wait again!
-
Dr Andrew Fleming 🇬🇧 🏴 (@Andrew007Uk) reported from Sutton at Hone, England@virginmedia Though I am dyslexic I have painstakingly done this on multiple devices and have photos to show It - not posting them publicly but it does not recognise that password 😢 A search on line suggests the problem is not unique. I have one hour to call the manufacturer if you advice.
-
Dr Andrew Fleming 🇬🇧 🏴 (@Andrew007Uk) reported from Sutton at Hone, England@virginmedia There is a blockage, that I know - I have had no service since November. I was told it would not be sorted before March 6th. I had been promised 3 call backs from different people in the Exec Department - none have followed up.
-
grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England@virginmedia A number of times. But let’s be honest, they’re nothing but messengers. There is no escalation, and they can’t even call the construction company to escalate issues. As someone who has worked within many projects teams, and mapped business processes, yours is simply shocking
-
DragonFish 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇮🇹 (@discobabe76) reported from Sutton at Hone, England@MayorofLondon Shame they provide the most terrible customer service and treat you like they've got you by the short and curlies! Pay £400 a year for a service, custome service agents are like robots and stuff you for days when it doesn't work with no alternative offered! @virginmedia
-
Katie Purkiss (@KatiePurkiss) reported from Southend-on-Sea, EnglandVirgin Media broadband down AGAIN. Service Status website & app don’t work as no internet connection 🤨 @virginmedia
-
FClay (@MissFayeRay) reported from Romford, England@virginmedia hope you can help please! Our router is a hub 3. It has a constant red light. It’s not over heating, I’ve done multiple hard resets. Any suggestions? Do I need a new router?
-
Phil (@feyipuk) reported from Crayford, England@virginmedia Think it's more to do with the upgrade work then; when I select Help from the Help & Settings menu, the screen goes blank. I'm thinking it needs a network connection to work. Any plans for a Hub with built in 02 sim to increase connectivity? Currently hot spotting my phone.
-
Dr Andrew Fleming 🇬🇧 🏴 (@Andrew007Uk) reported from Sutton at Hone, England@PaulWelsh_UK @virginmedia There is no service. 26 November reported - 6th March earliest date for works. I was past to no less than 6 different teams before finally getting somewhere and then being cut off. Anyway welcome home my friend - hope you have more luck than me!

-
grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England@virginmedia This seems to be the standard message coming from Virgin Media. “Computer says no”. If you can’t see the issue with this then you (Virgin Media) are the problem. I’m inclined to contact the ombudsman as you have sold me a service which you blatantly cannot provide or install.
