-
Going for Gold (@Gold_Accounting) reported from South Ockendon, England@BBCNews please help. @virginmedia refusing to make an 87 year old with a heart condition who needs her telephone 24/7 for her emergency button a priority. Not sending an engineer for ANOTHER 6 DAYS.
-
Ben Rogers (@eviemae239) reported from Sutton at Hone, England@virginmedia wi-fi down yet again for about the 5th time this week. Constantly going down over last few weeks as well, absolute shambles.
-
Phil (@feyipuk) reported from Crayford, England@virginmedia Think it's more to do with the upgrade work then; when I select Help from the Help & Settings menu, the screen goes blank. I'm thinking it needs a network connection to work. Any plans for a Hub with built in 02 sim to increase connectivity? Currently hot spotting my phone.
-
Katie Purkiss (@KatiePurkiss) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@virginmedia I’ve sorted the issue. But now there’s no way of cancelling the engineer! Can’t get through on phone. Appointment isn’t showing on their account, so can’t cancel there. WhatsApp is useless - been waiting for an Agent to be available since about 1pm!
-
Phil (@feyipuk) reported from Crayford, England@virginmedia That's my issue; in terms of service, it is resolved. Thr cable was previously buried (all be it not that deep), & I would have liked it to be again. My suggestion was leave slack so I could bury it. That message wasn't passed on to the 3rd party engineer. What would you advise?
-
Sharon Hills 💗 (@Gertie58) reported from Dartford, England@virginmedia We have broadband but no WiFi. Rang customer services on Thursday lunchtime to be told that although nothing shows up in the service checker it' known fault and should be back today, now it's almost two days without WiFi, just want update from someone who knows what's happening
-
Mark 🏴 (@WhiskyOneIce) reported from Sutton at Hone, England@virginmedia Yes I have chased and chased and spent 4 hours today on WhatsApp, no advise just can't help because I have outstanding bill....no the line isn't active because it was ported over to Community Fibre on 8th July
-
Paul Wingfield BSc CEng MIET (@pwingers) reported from Sutton at Hone, England@virginmedia I tried again today. After faffing with phone, then faulty website, and back to phone, I eventually found a very helpful assistant who managed to convince me to stay; happily. It was close though, as much room for improvement. Please sort out your customer services & website.
-
Joseph Sweeney (@JosephS65112253) reported from Sutton at Hone, England@virginmedia I’m going into my 5 week of problems with this crap company they say they will investigate but nothing, no compensation nothing.
-
Dr Stower and the Stock Market of Madness 🦍 (@1CreativeRay) reported from Wainscott, England@virginmedia Hi VM, I ordered a replacement remote control for my TIVO box. Just realised that was a couple of months ago but it never came. When trying online again it says as I’ve had one within six months I can’t order another. Please check that the first was ever sent, thanks
-
Alan Ferrari (@ferrari1fer86) reported from Romford, England@virginmedia is there an explanation of the intermittent evening issues affecting RM11 1DN for the last few weeks?
-
Russell Norris (@rrrussboy) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@virginmedia You’ve now sent me the same unhelpful link about compensation 3 times. This will only compensate me if I have no service, and as I have a service (albeit 3mbps) this, as I’ve repeated several times, doesn’t help me. Another example of poor customer service
-
Phil (@feyipuk) reported from Crayford, England@virginmedia Phoned, and as expected; they can't just "put this right". The equipment and service are working fine. That the dish is broken and there is little slack to enable me to bury the cable deeper is due to local engineers. Will just have to dig trench, break cable and wait again!
-
Russell Norris (@rrrussboy) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@virginmedia I’ve spent over 2 hours on the phone and I lost count of people I’ve spoken to when I got to 12. That’s just today and this has gone on for weeks. Pretty sure you would’ve lost me as a very longstanding customer by the time 28 days is up.
-
DragonFish 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇮🇹 (@discobabe76) reported from Sutton at Hone, England@MayorofLondon Shame they provide the most terrible customer service and treat you like they've got you by the short and curlies! Pay £400 a year for a service, custome service agents are like robots and stuff you for days when it doesn't work with no alternative offered! @virginmedia
-
Mark 🏴 (@WhiskyOneIce) reported from Sutton at Hone, England@virginmedia It's okay I've taken it up with CEDR now and let them resolve it, I'm just highlighting to people how difficult it is to cancel contracts and the fact that VM consistently "loose" letters
-
Andee Byford (@BobCratchitt) reported from Romford, England@virginmedia Yes I have checked the service status, it is the first thing I do & all was fine. The issues is with the cable Ethernet & the phone connection in the Hub 4. I don’t use your WiFi setup as my house is fully cabled for networking. I am a Network Architect, so have done basic tests
-
Mr Rocking Gooner~ Terry 👨🎤 (@MrRockingGooner) reported from Romford, England@BorisJohnson @virginmedia @O2 Imagine being part of a club or a group where roaming could be free for every mobile phone network automatically across Europe We should join that club sometime.
-
Phil (@feyipuk) reported from Crayford, England@virginmedia I'm sorry for the two poor support staff who are trying to sell us new remote controls, routers and O2 sims - for more money - till we hit the nuclear option and say we're leaving to get what we're asking? We're loyal customers; why does it need to get to that?
-
chris cox (@coxychris) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@virginmedia why are no one answering your lines all I wanna do is cancel my package

Jason Bourne (@SoloCeej) reported@young_financier my virgin media has been down for 2 weeks. still no progress
-
Nicky P. Smalley (@Nicky_P_Smalley) reported@virginmedia It’s been nearly 2 weeks now. Drop ops/low speeds are still continuing in s63. I keep getting texts saying you’ve identified the problem and sending someone out, but all that happens is you change date of when it’ll be fixed, but fix it you have not!
-
z (@ogerreyn) reported@virginmedia do you not have reasonable adjustments in place for disabled people? I visited a shop today and was told by the manager that they do not and just kept saying I have to phone a number. It seems like your company is only interested in grabbing money regardless service
-
G99 (@G99____) reported@BingoBertie @RichardLXXII @virginmedia Yes you clearly have no clue about the wording of the contract. Contracts have a fixed period and if you are smart you have discounts. They however have a fixed period, so if you let them run out the contract continues without them. So what your are suggesting is bad
-
mark teasel💙💙💙 (@Mteasel67) reported@virginmedia Hi , my broadband contract with you is finishing today and I will be changing to another supplier. My DD payment is on the 26th of the month , am I ok to cancel my DD to you now ?
-
Troy Pemberton (@tpembe1) reported@virginmedia The network issue was supposed to be fixed on the 2nd July. Low and behold I am still experiencing the same problems a day later.
-
Sandra Robinson (@mrsluc) reported@YeshuaFoxtrot @virginmedia I read on here everyday about issues, I have to be honest they are the best I've had. Three years and never an issue, well apart from the persistant cold calls. I sympathise with people who do, I was with Sky and had to reset my modem 3 times a day.
-
Duncan Waugh (@waughzone) reported@virginmedia No change. Service still intermittent at best.
-
Some-Nick1976 (@Some_Nick1976) reported@virginmedia, why is your Internet consistently awful at this time every single night
-
J Harris (@BingoBertie) reported@RichardLXXII @virginmedia Simple. Arrange a new supplier. Cancel direct debit. Commence a claim under the direct debit guarantee scheme for the un-agreed unauthorised increased amount Never have anything to do with @virginmedia again Except for suing for damages for falsely registered credit reference
