DragonFish 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇮🇹 (@discobabe76) reported from Sutton at Hone, England@MayorofLondon Shame they provide the most terrible customer service and treat you like they've got you by the short and curlies! Pay £400 a year for a service, custome service agents are like robots and stuff you for days when it doesn't work with no alternative offered! @virginmedia
-
grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England@virginmedia I have spoken to your CS team about raising a complaint and have been told that the complaints procedure is for existing customers. As I am yet to go live, I am not considered a customer and therefore have no where to go.
-
Mark Connolly (@macon1375) reported from Crayford, England@virginmedia They advise they would send a signal to router, I then turn off after 5 mins, for 10 mins and when back on all will be working! Well it didn’t make a difference and my speed test shows my downloads dropped from 236mbs to 36. The issue is uploads tho at 0.5mbps. On hold again!
-
Simon Norris (@sinozza) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@ThatNickElse @virginmedia Did you get through in the end Nick...I'm having similar problems to you.

✖️𝔻𝕖𝕒𝕟 𝕄𝕔𝔽𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕖✖️ (@NoddyMaccy) reported from Romford, England@virginmedia I contacted customer services for an update on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I was informed by your Twitter account I wouldn’t need to send my current phone back until I receive my new one. I was then informed by the gentleman on the phone my new phone won’t be sent until I send this
-
✖️𝔻𝕖𝕒𝕟 𝕄𝕔𝔽𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕖✖️ (@NoddyMaccy) reported from Romford, England@virginmedia My phone is now over two weeks late, which isn’t an issue, I understand waiting for one to become available to send but to suggest I send this phone back and go without a phone until one eventually gets sent to me is just ridiculous. I’m not gonna pay my bills with no phone…
-
Nancy S (@mizznansea) reported from Aveley, England@TracyWoodley4 @virginmedia @Virgin Their service has certainly gone down hill and this issue with the call centre is a complete farce. If they can't even get their own internal systems sorted as a telecomms company what hope do we have? My contract is up in March and I will defo be leaving Virgin.
-
Katie Purkiss (@KatiePurkiss) reported from Southend-on-Sea, EnglandHey @virginmedia Parents new 360 box not working and engineer not available to come out til the 27th!!!! Not good enough! 😔

Lisa Philpott (@Lisa2672) reported from Rayleigh, England@Shayan86 @virginmedia It’s a disgrace - my husband works in tv too. You 100% cannot rely on VM. I am definitely changing. My bill started off at £35 and is now £45 as we had to buy boosters. Worst service ever. Skybroadband non-fibre was better than this.
-
Katie Purkiss (@KatiePurkiss) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@virginmedia I’ve sorted the issue. But now there’s no way of cancelling the engineer! Can’t get through on phone. Appointment isn’t showing on their account, so can’t cancel there. WhatsApp is useless - been waiting for an Agent to be available since about 1pm!

Gary Adams (@GazzaAdams) reportedHi @virginmedia This latest update appears to directly contradict the update you sent me earlier today. At 12:57, I was told that an engineer **was already on site and working to fix the problem**, with an estimated repair time of **18:00 today, 19/08/2026**. At 15:24, I am now being told that you have identified the problem and that an engineer **is on their way**, with the estimated repair time moved to **14:10 on 21/08/2026**. This is the original date that was stated 2 weeks ago. Could you please provide an accurate explanation of what is actually happening with fault **F012421201**? In particular: * Was an engineer on site earlier today, as stated? * If so, why is an engineer now apparently only “on their way”? * What has happened to cause the estimated repair time to move from this evening to Friday afternoon? * Is 21/08/2026 at 14:10 now a reliable estimate, or is this simply an automated placeholder? I appreciate that faults can take longer than expected to repair. What is frustrating is receiving contradictory information that makes it impossible to understand the actual status of the fault. Please provide a clear and factual update rather than another automated status message.
