anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England
@virginmedia That would imply that I had faith in your services & belief that you cared about your customers. I know from the past that this is not the case. I have already checked and this problem is supposed to be fixed by 3pm, it has been ongoing since 8am. It really is tedious and boring
-
anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England
@virginmedia The deeper check did not work because the internet is down and therefore the check did not work......it’s just so pathetic really
-
Jenny Illmann (@JennyIllmann) reported from London, England
Lately Virgin Media hasn’t been very good at all. I never used to have issues with it.
-
Marc Corn (@marcsnappy) reported from Basildon, England
@Shadow_Official @virginmedia This issue I found happened more on wifi, I had to put in a secondary switch and run everything via Ethernet.
-
Jon Lovett (@Pegaso650) reported from Basildon, England
@virginmedia I’ve going through this process since 20th March! I’m unable to talk on the phone easily due to a brain injury. I’m still waiting for a response from the resolution team!!
-
Lawrence Gardiner ➡️ (@LawroGardiner) reported from Basildon, England
@Dianemiddleto @tankhead666 @virginmedia Thanks. I got the text hours after talking to Virgin Media on the phone to activate my hub after a house move. Never had it before. Something not right in their call centres.
-
Marc Corn (@marcsnappy) reported from Basildon, England
Hey @virginmedia you better offer me a better deal tomorrow or else I will be leaving. New customers are always treated better than existing. I know from experience with you guys that this never changes.
-
Daphne Clifton (@daphnemotivates) reported from London, England
@virginmedia Your chat help was absolutely no help at all. Unable to answer a simple question. I’ll have to queue for hours to speak to someone, who I hope can make sense. Can’t wait to leave @virginmedia #trapped
-
anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England
...customers who have been with @virginmedia for a loooooooooooooonnnnnnnnggggggg time and bloody feels like a looooong time. Service at the weekend was crap (again). Expect a phone call tomorrow to the complaints dept.
-
anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England
@virginmedia Or maybe that’s wishful thinking. Anyway. We will be considering our options over the weekend and I don’t think we will be staying with VM. Bad service is too regular now
-
anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England
@virginmedia When you are using your data in your own house so often, have Netflix, Now and Amazon Prime you pay for that you can’t even use when Broadband are down, you have to ask, what the HELL am I doing with a company that can’t provide a basic bloody service.
-
Tazul Islam (@Tazul2015) reported from London, England
@virginmedia in the 10 years I have been with virgin media, this is the first time my internet has gone down. Sometimes things do go wrong but it’s how you deal with it that matters. Well done to your engineers for restoring the service quickly!!
-
anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England
@foxinthebox2010 @virginmedia It was a customer insight survey sent to me by email. Gives you no chance to really voice your opinion as it’s just pushing the new box.
-
John Briggs (@JohnJohnb471) reported from London, England
Just want to say after being a long standing @virginmobile and @virginmedia customer for many years I had it with their appalling customer service and excessive charges. Don’t use them people they don’t deserve our business
-
Debz Glover😜 (@DebzGlover) reported from Basildon, England
@virginmedia Hi, no service issues in my area according to your website
-
anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England
@foxinthebox2010 @virginmedia You do have a point @foxinthebox2010 though because they were asking if customers would be willing to pay £20 one off fee, then £15, £10, £5...which implies they could afford to upgrade for free but just want to squeeze more money of out their customers. We’ve had awful service
-
nickihendrix (@nickihendrix4) reported from Basildon, England
@virginmedia what the actual **** is wrong with you people if it was phone bill you guys would have deducted all long time ago but y’all don’t want me to make calls and y’all decided not to warn us either. I swear to God I’m not paying my bill this month periodt
-
Ryan (@RyanTCB) reported from Basildon, England
I hate phoning virgin media at weekends and getting the Indian support centre 🤬
-
Laura Elliott (@LAURABELLE72) reported from Thundersley, England
Have some sense @virginmedia if your mobile phone systems are having issues why wait until the caller has been on hold for over 15 minutes to play the recorded message that says there's nothing you can do about it #********* #CustomerService
-
anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England
@foxinthebox2010 @virginmedia The £20, £15, £10 down to £5 smacked of desperation really! Just give me the bloody box. We’ve been with you long enough!!!!!
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Becky Guest (@Bexster100) reported
@virginmedia No it’s not correct. We were told when we took contract out if we moved we could take you with us. We moved but you don’t service this area so you made us cancel contract, which we did not want to do and charged us a fee for early termination. BT and talk talk don’t do this.
-
Miroslav Sommer (@miroslavsommer) reported
@virginmedia Your status was: "known issue in your area". And that you will fix it by 18:00 yesterday. Very unhelpful for someone who needs to work from home. Today - the broadband just went down. 4th day in the row. This is extremely frustrating. Looks like you have not fixed the issue?
-
Natasha.B. (@MissTashB16) reported
@virginmedia absolutely useless and infuriating. I just want to cancel my contract I've tried 11 times now...no I don't want to stay!
-
Jessiee (@jessieee_louu) reported
@virginmedia once again we have no WiFi. Been happening on and off for days. Paying for a service we can't even use half the time at the moment. Genuinely considering switching broadband provider.
-
Emma Lunn (@emmalunn) reported
@virginmedia I called 150 and pressed the number for faults. So any getting through to the wrong department is down to Virgin. Not really good enough, is it? Yes, there's an area fault.
-
Mrs B (@Vikbat) reported
Well @virginmedia I've had 2 scam calls this week telling me my router is not secure, and they want to connect to my laptop to fix it 🤬. I'm not even a customer! Last number was 01889 573769, although that's probably fake - call centre in India @phishingorguk #scammers
-
Susan Barrett (@SueBarrettActor) reported
@VirginMediaIE ps: Internet cut out yet again today. Anyone free to assist with all these issues please? Getting ridiculous and no customer service to offer any help these days? Getting really frustrating. #badservice #virginmedia #virginmediabroadband
-
Just another Andy (@amcyoung) reported
@virginmedia You’ve taken it down for the whole area. Nothing until “at least 6pm”, vans all around. How, prey tell, does a wire help when the hub is down?
-
Jordy 🦇 (@funeralballx) reported
@virginmedia can someone help me pay my final mobile bill? Been trying for DAYS. No auto payment. No payment button. Emailed and no reply. It’s getting a joke. This better not turn into a debt otherwise I will take it further. Fix it now please.
-
Jessiee (@jessieee_louu) reported
@virginmedia Says there's no known issues but we have constant green lights flashing. We've rebooted it several times and we still have nothing. It connects for maybe 20 minutes before dropping out again.
