Darren Young 📺 (@Just_Daz_Young) reported from Gillingham, England

@virginmedia My tariff is going up from £72ish to £108ish so I want to leave... Simple but trying to get them to do this is madness. Internet is slow and not reliable, I have been promised the earth and it has just got worst! @BBCWatchdog

  • rob_green86

@westbrookdanni @virginmedia Up to 2 weeks ago I didn't have a bad word to say about them. The pure fact you can't get through to someone is the worst of it. Happy to take your money and trim your internet speeds!

  • wonky1961
Penny Rolfe nee Acres (@wonky1961) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England

@MartinSLewis Virgin Media wifi been unstable since June 2020. Virgin Media never resolved the problem caused me to lose hundreds of £'s. Made me lose my PIP. Virgin made me pay double because they kept charging me twice most months. They've made me lose half my PC Guarantee

  • Paul_Ilett
Paul Ilett, Author (@Paul_Ilett) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England

@fingers_terry @virginmedia I hope so. I’d hate to have to cancel my subscription.

  • hungoverdrawn
Robert Shaw (@hungoverdrawn) reported from Wainscott, England

@virginmedia It's started working this morning after 24 hours down, bit strange that your website said there were no service issues anywhere 😒 I guess I'll cancel that engineer visit now.

  • goonerlgh
Lawrence Hooker (@goonerlgh) reported from Gillingham, England

@virginmedia Third Superhub and it's just as unreliable as the previous two. Frequently has to be reset. Slow speeds, unstable wifi. When are you going to replace it with decent hardware?

  • Lisa2672
Lisa Philpott (@Lisa2672) reported from Rayleigh, England

@Shayan86 @virginmedia It’s a disgrace - my husband works in tv too. You 100% cannot rely on VM. I am definitely changing. My bill started off at £35 and is now £45 as we had to buy boosters. Worst service ever. Skybroadband non-fibre was better than this.

  • jooz282
Julie McCarthy (@jooz282) reported from Rochester, England

@virginmedia problems with the boxing again tonight - paid for @anthonyfjoshua fight and keep getting pixelated picture and channel going off air entirely - is it being sorted?

  • yiddo71
Mark Gould (@yiddo71) reported from Rochester, England

@virginmedia 5 days with no landline despite your customer services saying 24 hours everytime I ring so yes I have been in touch and no they have still not sorted it total joke!

  • TheBernie1967

@El_Lloydie @virginmedia We’ve had shocking ‘service’ too after moving home. Gobsmacked how bad to be honest!

  • sharonmariahall
    Sharon Hall (@sharonmariahall) reported

@virginmedia @El_Lloydie Dont bother. You wont get any satisfaction. I sent a webform complaint in 27 march and an email to the CEO last weekend. Still waiting for a response

  • ifarrow
    Ian Farrow (@ifarrow) reported

@virginmedia broadband down again. Go in to web page and it says try back again in 22hours! Go to tele helpline and it costs a fortune. How can I get help fixing this that doesn’t take 22hours. Shocking customer service.

  • MRSRIZZI
    Vicky Rizzi (@MRSRIZZI) reported

@virginmedia how can you disconnect all of our services without permission of the bill payer and leave us with no service as you thought we had moved house? We are 5 days numerous phone calls and still without any supply at all and pay £119 a month for the so called privilege.

  • AlloquiStrix
    Alloqui Strix (@AlloquiStrix) reported

@virginmedia Perhaps, but not 1 day then 7 days between updates on the same day & within minutes. If this was a water outage for this length of time there would be water tankers delivering water to houses - why are you not providing us with mobile data during this extended SNAFU.

  • BenEato46743114
    Ben Eaton (@BenEato46743114) reported

@virginmedia Just cancelled my broadband because you want £33 for m350 but new customers get m500 for £24 how does that work been with you for nearly ten years but a new customer gets a better deal 👍.

  • Petrelli_22
    CAMPO ☔️ (@Petrelli_22) reported

Can’t wait to leave virgin media now they reminded me my contract is due for renewal they ain’t been down in a minute but still **** yall

  • formerprisoner_
    Reformed Prisoner (@formerprisoner_) reported

. @virginmedia are the most useless, care-less, let down of a company in existence. If you are considering going with them for broadband. Please don’t. Their technicians do half a job, cancel a thousand times and their customer support is outsourced to some foreign country.

  • CraigA3
    Craig Aldridge (@CraigA3) reported

Beware of @virginmedia they lie and change your bill without warning. Then multiple assistants will lie & says it's fixed but they will still charge you. If you call you'll be on hold for 30 mins tell them all the right security answers but they will say they are wrong & not help

  • philbreadin
    Phil (@philbreadin) reported

@virginmedia how come my bill has jumped from £55 to £72 mid contract? I understand it's April and a small price increase is expected but £17 is taking the mick. With the issues I've had lately @sky is looking more tempting.
