  • rrrussboy
Russell Norris (@rrrussboy) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England

@virginmedia You’ve now sent me the same unhelpful link about compensation 3 times. This will only compensate me if I have no service, and as I have a service (albeit 3mbps) this, as I’ve repeated several times, doesn’t help me. Another example of poor customer service

  • rob_green86
Rob Green Jnr (@rob_green86) reported from Thundersley, England

Anyone else really struggling with slow speeds over the last 10 days with @virginmedia. It's been spot on for 2 years now and then 10 days it seems something has happened. Lucky to get over 10Mb now 🙈

  • KatiePurkiss
Katie Purkiss (@KatiePurkiss) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England

@virginmedia I’ve sorted the issue. But now there’s no way of cancelling the engineer! Can’t get through on phone. Appointment isn’t showing on their account, so can’t cancel there. WhatsApp is useless - been waiting for an Agent to be available since about 1pm!

  • johnperreira
john perreira (@johnperreira) reported from Basildon, England

@simon_perreira @virginmedia Go with @NOWTV bruv.. never had a major problem with their service and you get a few tv channels thrown in as well.. when ever there has been a outside problem it been sorted in days.. oh and it def be 💯 cheaper than @virginmedia #Cowboys

  • vamplady35
Sharon Cooper (@vamplady35) reported from Gillingham, England

@virginmedia My understanding is that it is affecting a lot of people. I have now worked out how to access my email another way but do strongly feel that virgin media should be looking to resolve this issue ASAP.

  • jooz282
Julie McCarthy (@jooz282) reported from Rochester, England

@virginmedia It was a little more than short lasting pixelation! The channel kept dropping completely and during the main fight it felt like we were watching in slow motion.

  • _SamButler

@virginmedia BT Sports 2 picture keeps getting distorted... any other channel is fine can you help please

  • rob_green86
Rob Green Jnr (@rob_green86) reported from Thundersley, England

@westbrookdanni @virginmedia Up to 2 weeks ago I didn't have a bad word to say about them. The pure fact you can't get through to someone is the worst of it. Happy to take your money and trim your internet speeds!

Russell Norris (@rrrussboy) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England

@virginmedia Actually that’s wrong, I received an email to advise that the complaint had been resolved and had to respond saying it hasn’t. What hope is there when you can’t even get a complaint right?

  • onearmedjohn
Onearmedjohn (@onearmedjohn) reported from Gillingham, England

@virginmedia No, we’re way past all that now, this has been going on for months/years. Now, I can’t even get to talk to anyone. I’ve requested you change my box. You haven’t. What is the head office address for service of legal documents please?

  • yiddo71
Mark Gould (@yiddo71) reported from Rochester, England

@virginmedia Great ring the number that has been absolutely shocking from day 1 or wait 28 days for Virgin to answer a complaint I have been trying to resolve for 10 days currently on phone with customer service but wont let me speak to a manger absolutely s*** from @virginmedia @BBCWatchdog

  • rrrussboy
Russell Norris (@rrrussboy) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England

@virginmedia I’ve already raised a complaint. I spoke to someone in the Stage 2 complaints team who told me it’s being dealt with and, as already mentioned, a manager would call me back at 4.30 which didn’t happen. Can someone please sort this out?

  • hungoverdrawn
Robert Shaw (@hungoverdrawn) reported from Wainscott, England

@virginmedia It's started working this morning after 24 hours down, bit strange that your website said there were no service issues anywhere 😒 I guess I'll cancel that engineer visit now.

  • DronePilotGeoff
Geoff Watkins (@DronePilotGeoff) reported from Gillingham, England

@fasurveyors @virginmedia I have to say; I’m normally pretty pleased with @virginmedia internet. It’s normally fast and reliable. But last couple of days has been awful. It’s getting too expensive as well

@virginmedia I understand they're introductory, but the gap is £51/month for the identical package. That's not a normal "new customer discount" that's a loyalty penalty. What can you actually offer me?

  • BFrog86370
    🇬🇧Byron Frog 🇬🇧 (@BFrog86370) reported

@virginmedia I have to say your customer service is absolutely pathetic and one of the worst I’ve ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. Almost 2 weeks since installation and it’s still not all working

@virginmedia yeah did that. it says all fine. no issues .... yet a quick scan of social media ( not using virgin broadband obviously, reveals there's an outage in my area .... perhaps you should move your status checker to another provider? It's going to 24 hours apparently. great service

  • murdocke
    Murdocke (@murdocke) reported

@virginmedia your broadband has gotten noticeably bad these last few years, you used to be impeccable but now there’s always some fault you can’t fix and it gets pushed back again and again. ******** has happened to you? Your engineers lately are ******* shite. (Customer for 25 years)

  • nrpoole
    Nick Poole (@nrpoole) reported

@virginmedia I can't log into my a/c. I know my email address but, when entered, I reach a page saying that there has been a 'quick pause to keep my account safe' followed by some unhelpful suggestions and a reference: IDF-12B. The help & bot are useless. Can you help, please?

  • Clinkyboy67
    Arron Clinkscales (@Clinkyboy67) reported

@virginmedia 2: you contact Virgin through their App and they tell you it will take another 4 or 5 days for an engineer to "visit" when you have nowt !!! You raise a complaint to be told a manager will get back to you within 24 /48 HOUR Please share this with @virginmedia

Everyone's focused on $AMPG's US story. And fair enough, they're expanding fast across America. The only American 64T64R AI-RAN radio, deployed at Telus, a Strategic Partner in the DoD-funded Open6G hub next to $NVDA and $QCOM, and the CEO just said new major carriers may go straight to POs next quarter. The US story alone is plenty. But here's what almost nobody is connecting: it was never going to stop at America. On the last earnings call, CEO Fawad Maqbool pointed somewhere else entirely: "Our success being the largest O-RAN deployment in America is helping us reach out and reach further into Europe and other areas of the world". That's the strategy in one sentence. Win the flagship at home, then use that credibility as a passport into other markets. And it isn't just talk. The groundwork is already there. Receipt 1, the concrete one: AMPG signed a 5-year supplier agreement with Fujitsu Spain back in October 2024, explicitly expanding its reach across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. So when the CEO says "Europe," there's already a signed, multi-year channel underneath the words. Receipt 2 is hiding in plain sight: the United Kingdom. Look at AmpliTech's customer wall and you'll find Digital Catapult. Most people scroll right past it. But Digital Catapult isn't a random logo. It's a UK government-backed innovation organization, funded through Innovate UK and DSIT (the UK's Department for Science, Innovation and Technology). And it runs SONIC Labs, the country's flagship Open RAN testing facility. Here's where AMPG enters. Its 64T64R Massive MIMO radio was tested at the O-RAN Global PlugFest in London, hosted at SONIC Labs, with HTC's G-REIGN providing the DU/CU stack and AmpliTech bringing the radio. The only American radio in the room, validated inside a UK government-funded laboratory. Now the part that makes it interesting. Who advises SONIC Labs? All four of Britain's major operators: EE/BT, Three, Virgin Media O2 and Vodafone UK. They sit on its advisory board, shaping what they need from Open RAN vendors and acting as potential future buyers of the vendors who pass through. So picture it. AMPG's radio validated in a government-backed UK lab, whose advisory board is a who's-who of every major British carrier. The entire UK Open RAN buying ecosystem, in one room, watching the only American radio perform. Now let me be completely honest, because that's the only way this is worth anything. There is no signed UK contract. The British operators advise SONIC Labs, they do not own it, and they haven't bought anything from AMPG yet. This was a product-validation milestone, not a revenue event. Anyone telling you the UK government or a British carrier is about to hand AMPG a deal is getting ahead of the facts. A foot in the door is not a sale. But here's why it matters AMPG keeps showing up in exactly the rooms that matter. The US DoD-funded Open6G hub. The O-RAN Global PlugFest as the only American 64T64R radio to pass. A signed channel into Europe via Fujitsu Spain. And now a UK government-backed lab advised by every major British operator. And the CEO saying they'll expand to Europe. That's the pattern. The same playbook, repeated across the Western world: get the only American radio validated, get it in front of the buyers, and let the sovereignty tailwind do the rest. One market at a time. This isn't a company waiting to be discovered. It's methodically getting itself in front of every major Open RAN buyer in the US and Europe, one validation at a time. The contracts are the next step, not the first one. A foot in the door isn't a deal. But you never get the deal without it first. And AMPG's foot is now in a lot of very important doors. Still sub-$1B while all of this quietly compounds. Not financial advice. I'm long $AMPG. DYOR. 📡
