Katie Purkiss (@KatiePurkiss) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@virginmedia I’ve sorted the issue. But now there’s no way of cancelling the engineer! Can’t get through on phone. Appointment isn’t showing on their account, so can’t cancel there. WhatsApp is useless - been waiting for an Agent to be available since about 1pm!
-
Mark Gould (@yiddo71) reported from Rochester, EnglandWhy is it every companies customer service line is so crap and does not want to help in any way shape or form #curryspcworld #virginmedia @BBCWatchdog
-
Sharon Cooper (@vamplady35) reported from Gillingham, England@virginmedia My understanding is that it is affecting a lot of people. I have now worked out how to access my email another way but do strongly feel that virgin media should be looking to resolve this issue ASAP.
-
Onearmedjohn (@onearmedjohn) reported from Gillingham, England@virginmedia This is so tiresome I have complained so many times about slow broadband speed, unreliable WiFi, terrible TV services & only after threatening to leave did you send an engineer in July. This made it a little better, but recently it’s been unreliable of an evening.
-
lindsay wood (@Dearnormajeane) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@kelseybytheway @virginmedia Second this so ******* hard. Diagnostics dont do **** when the issue is with the hardware itself
-
Onearmedjohn (@onearmedjohn) reported from Gillingham, England@virginmedia No, we’re way past all that now, this has been going on for months/years. Now, I can’t even get to talk to anyone. I’ve requested you change my box. You haven’t. What is the head office address for service of legal documents please?
-
Russell Norris (@rrrussboy) reported from Southend-on-Sea, England@virginmedia You’ve now sent me the same unhelpful link about compensation 3 times. This will only compensate me if I have no service, and as I have a service (albeit 3mbps) this, as I’ve repeated several times, doesn’t help me. Another example of poor customer service
-
grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England@virginmedia This seems to be the standard message coming from Virgin Media. “Computer says no”. If you can’t see the issue with this then you (Virgin Media) are the problem. I’m inclined to contact the ombudsman as you have sold me a service which you blatantly cannot provide or install.
-
Lawrence Hooker (@goonerlgh) reported from Gillingham, England@virginmedia Third Superhub and it's just as unreliable as the previous two. Frequently has to be reset. Slow speeds, unstable wifi. When are you going to replace it with decent hardware?
-
Mark Gould (@yiddo71) reported from Rochester, England@virginmedia 5 days with no landline despite your customer services saying 24 hours everytime I ring so yes I have been in touch and no they have still not sorted it total joke!
-
ron palmer (@moebius1967) reported from Southend-on-Sea, EnglandWow Virgin media TV services are down nationwide due to a power outage. That's an awful lot of compensation.
-
Mark Gould (@yiddo71) reported from Rochester, England@virginmedia No as normal Virgin customer service go quiet until I am forced to ring them again and as for the bill no additional charges you just seem to have doubled the bill
-
Dr Stower and the Stock Market of Madness 🦍 (@1CreativeRay) reported from Wainscott, England@virginmedia Terrible service from you these last two weeks! I have spent more than 4hrs on the phone to Asian based O2, and Virgin call centres who never help or process things. Also Capita in South Africa… Why do you use foreign call centres if they cannot do the job!!
-
Rob Green Jnr (@rob_green86) reported from Thundersley, EnglandAnyone else really struggling with slow speeds over the last 10 days with @virginmedia. It's been spot on for 2 years now and then 10 days it seems something has happened. Lucky to get over 10Mb now 🙈
-

ChinoAleman (@chinoalemano) reportedEveryone's focused on $AMPG's US story. And fair enough, they're expanding fast across America. The only American 64T64R AI-RAN radio, deployed at Telus, a Strategic Partner in the DoD-funded Open6G hub next to $NVDA and $QCOM, and the CEO just said new major carriers may go straight to POs next quarter. The US story alone is plenty. But here's what almost nobody is connecting: it was never going to stop at America. On the last earnings call, CEO Fawad Maqbool pointed somewhere else entirely: "Our success being the largest O-RAN deployment in America is helping us reach out and reach further into Europe and other areas of the world". That's the strategy in one sentence. Win the flagship at home, then use that credibility as a passport into other markets. And it isn't just talk. The groundwork is already there. Receipt 1, the concrete one: AMPG signed a 5-year supplier agreement with Fujitsu Spain back in October 2024, explicitly expanding its reach across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. So when the CEO says "Europe," there's already a signed, multi-year channel underneath the words. Receipt 2 is hiding in plain sight: the United Kingdom. Look at AmpliTech's customer wall and you'll find Digital Catapult. Most people scroll right past it. But Digital Catapult isn't a random logo. It's a UK government-backed innovation organization, funded through Innovate UK and DSIT (the UK's Department for Science, Innovation and Technology). And it runs SONIC Labs, the country's flagship Open RAN testing facility. Here's where AMPG enters. Its 64T64R Massive MIMO radio was tested at the O-RAN Global PlugFest in London, hosted at SONIC Labs, with HTC's G-REIGN providing the DU/CU stack and AmpliTech bringing the radio. The only American radio in the room, validated inside a UK government-funded laboratory. Now the part that makes it interesting. Who advises SONIC Labs? All four of Britain's major operators: EE/BT, Three, Virgin Media O2 and Vodafone UK. They sit on its advisory board, shaping what they need from Open RAN vendors and acting as potential future buyers of the vendors who pass through. So picture it. AMPG's radio validated in a government-backed UK lab, whose advisory board is a who's-who of every major British carrier. The entire UK Open RAN buying ecosystem, in one room, watching the only American radio perform. Now let me be completely honest, because that's the only way this is worth anything. There is no signed UK contract. The British operators advise SONIC Labs, they do not own it, and they haven't bought anything from AMPG yet. This was a product-validation milestone, not a revenue event. Anyone telling you the UK government or a British carrier is about to hand AMPG a deal is getting ahead of the facts. A foot in the door is not a sale. But here's why it matters AMPG keeps showing up in exactly the rooms that matter. The US DoD-funded Open6G hub. The O-RAN Global PlugFest as the only American 64T64R radio to pass. A signed channel into Europe via Fujitsu Spain. And now a UK government-backed lab advised by every major British operator. And the CEO saying they'll expand to Europe. That's the pattern. The same playbook, repeated across the Western world: get the only American radio validated, get it in front of the buyers, and let the sovereignty tailwind do the rest. One market at a time. This isn't a company waiting to be discovered. It's methodically getting itself in front of every major Open RAN buyer in the US and Europe, one validation at a time. The contracts are the next step, not the first one. A foot in the door isn't a deal. But you never get the deal without it first. And AMPG's foot is now in a lot of very important doors. Still sub-$1B while all of this quietly compounds. Not financial advice. I'm long $AMPG. DYOR. 📡

South Coast Commuter (@CS_Hants) reported@virginmedia May I remove it then? It’s ugly, VM never mentioned I would need it when you sold me the service and you didn’t get my permission to stick it on my house! Will happily send it back to you! Have no intention of ever using @virginmedia ever again!
-
🏃♀️ 💯 Di Brander 💯 🏋️♀️ (@DiBrander) reportedDisaster has struck the Brander household. The internet is down. Virgin Media said it could be up to 24 hours til they find/fix the fault. This is when you realise that the internet makes everything work, or not work.
-
LP (@____LP____) reported@virginmedia My broadband was down for about 20 hours in total but finally came back an hour ago, so that's something!
-
Graeme Savage 🏴 (@graemehistory) reportedCan anyone at @virginmedia please let me know when the outage in south Ayr will be fixed?
-
Margaret (@scripture36) reported@virginmedia @CLangley16 Any chance you could just help disabled users revert to previous software as they can’t use this 360 shite?
-
Face palm Vengance (@IsTheTruthToxic) reported@virginmedia Yes it does and it’s a bad system. Your tortuous phone tree system makes talking to the right people very difficult, having to phone for the best deal instead of being offered it by daily is predatory and unnecessary, you know the problems so fix them
-
Sally Briars (@SallyBriars) reported@virginmedia I already have, multiple times and it says nothing is wrong, no issues in my area! I want to book an engineer but the website keeps sending me in circles!
-
