@virginmedia We have spoke to everyone… you’re just doing a bad job… you need to sort your staff because they’re all lazy bastards who clearly just can’t be bothered… it’s been 2 months… you credit our account but that doesn’t make up for it

  • SMLJacinto
Sonia Jacinto (@SMLJacinto) reported from Salfords, England

@virginmedia @StockerAlex And yes @StockerAlex it is true, in a 2 hour phone call, you talk with several members of staff, and to each one you have to start the same conversation over and over again! @virginmedia not good! Improve customer service, and don’t lie to your clients!

  • Peterprince
Peter Prince (@Peterprince) reported from Redhill, England

@virginmedia you are definitely in a different universe as your definition of “thirty seconds or less” on your customer service line is a lot different to mine

  • marnieisabella_
marnie isabella ☀︎︎ (@marnieisabella_) reported from Tandridge, England

Awful broadband since switching to @SkyHelpTeam, I’m so sorry I left you @virginmedia, pls take me back 💔

  • CharlesB2T
Charles Brittain (@CharlesB2T) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia I only found this out by talking to the engineers working at getting us all attached again, down our road, but if we don't know this, it looks as though it is your equipment which is at fault. To be fully kept up to speed with real info, will stop nightmare thoughts from growing.

  • deanwoods
Dean Woods 💙 (@deanwoods) reported from Horley, England

@virginmedia @Coley__76 This is what really annoys your customers. There's no ownership of issues. Your different teams are acting in silos. Why should it be up to the customer who is paying for a service to constantly have to chase and follow up. #VirginMedia

  • BinaryWheels
1Down5Up (@BinaryWheels) reported from Crawley, England

Top tip for anyone considering @VirginMedia or @vmbusiness for their broadband: do yourself a favour, don't. They have a monopoly on speed, which they feel allows them to treat customers appallingly. Complete outage and no one on their "support" team gives a monkeys. #Awesome.

  • Sexley28
Natalie Exley (@Sexley28) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia The automated service has informed me there are issues in my area which an engineer is working on .. due to be fixed at 435pm , but been off since 10pm last night . Not much help really considering what we pay for .

  • Peterprince
Peter Prince (@Peterprince) reported from Redhill, England

@virginmedia since supposedly upgrading the network in #reigate on 5th November broadband is constantly dropping out and to make matters worse customer service is uncontactable. What are you doing to provide a consistent broadband service

  • RoughieSmith
Christine Smith (@RoughieSmith) reported from Redhill, England

Almost 1&1/2 hours holding onto the phone trying to get my internet sorted only to be cut off by them #virginmedia are robbing me not providing the service & I can’t get hold of them, I’m sick of being ripped off

  • AndyCockell
    Mr.Cocktail 🍸 (@AndyCockell) reported from Dorking, England

@virginmedia 1. You’ve not read my tweet but replied with a standard automated response. 2. I said in my initial tweet that you’ve already told me service is down due to improvements. 3. The link you’ve given says there’s nothing wrong. Your customer service is diabolical.

  • rafthemaster
Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@theTunnelBear is there an issue using your service on @virginmedia - first time using their internet and I can’t access your website and my bear won’t activate (HTTPS error is thrown rather than a direct blocking notification) think @ThreeUK are also blocking your website

  • melon_h
Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia This is still appalling customer service. I have to register (I did this when things were down in Dec for almost 72 hours), I have to alert etc you are the service provider. How is it good CS that we assume you are lying in estimates? No compensation for Dec either.

  • RealAndyCowen
Andy Cowen (@RealAndyCowen) reported from Redhill, England

@virginmedia Last time I called I was told there was a cable problem and the field team would be in touch! The engineer didn’t call at my house and I had to chase... not heard from the field team and here I am chasing again!! I need my installation installed properly!!

  • sophieholmes_
sophie (@sophieholmes_) reported from Horley, England

@virginmedia can you confirm what the issue is with wifi in the RH6 area please?

  • rafthemaster
Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia Are you able to advise IF this is going to be fixed, yesterday you said by 10am today. Then 2pm,6pm & now 10am tomorrow - could live with the loss of either service but it’s really impacting not having either!

  • planey10
bob plane 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇺🇦 (@planey10) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia currently waiting half n hour to transfer to a agent from your complaints team !! Through your complete incompetence I have to waste my time your service is shocking

  • GaryAblett3
Greyman (Gary A) (@GaryAblett3) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia I’m confused. This isn’t a general concern. This is a complaint and you are legally obliged to handle the complaint or I will simply refer to Ofcom.

  • CharlesB2T
Charles Brittain (@CharlesB2T) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia how do I simply cancel my account on a chosen date? It seems impossible to arrange this on your website or app.

  • jettypaul71
Jeff Webber (@jettypaul71) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia I have no TV but you are not taking calls so how can I sort issue - looks like you changed/cancelled my account!!??

  • RevQntmBigfoot
THE Rev. Quantum Bigfoot ♿️ #FLTG OG Anti-RGB OAP (@RevQntmBigfoot) reported

@sephiroth17181 @virginmedia The actual faults were both properties (70 miles apart!) bad power amplifiers along the cable itself underground to the cabinet which required senior network engineers to come out & replace them. Haven’t used them since (2010 was last time) because they dragged feet for so long.

  • MrEldricardo
    skif’s (@MrEldricardo) reported

@DeviateDefiant @virginmedia @MoneySupermkt No. Bad idea. We had it. Went from £35 to £65 in 24 months.

  • AsTrubludru

@ZDangermouse @virginmedia If you have a decent data plan, you can use your phone as a hot spot for your smart tv. I’ve done it for an Xbox a few times when my internet went out. Games are a little slow, but Netflix and other streaming services were good when I did it.

@Simon_Coates @Simon_Whale @virginmedia I think so, seeing as im an telecommunications engineer. Just stating my prices like everyone else never once mentioned your "Starlink"

  • ape_steinUK

@DeviateDefiant @virginmedia @MoneySupermkt Same here, I was paying £36 for 1GB, end of contract price is £82 and “best” renewal price is £42 IF I take an O2 sim for another fiver a month. Customer price: £26.99 a month. Crooks.

@itsuu___ yeah its a DNS or routing issue on virgin media's end. because the VPN connection is working all traffic is routed through that on the virgin media side. so to them they are connecting you to vpn, then it's the vpn that's connecting you to twitter.
