@virginmedia I’m confused. This isn’t a general concern. This is a complaint and you are legally obliged to handle the complaint or I will simply refer to Ofcom.

  • GaryAblett3
Greyman (Gary A) (@GaryAblett3) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia No. The reference was not given to me. But the complaint was logged.

  • Charlie_A_Toon

Is your Virgin TV Go app ever going to work again @virginmedia been down for a wk now. I’ve deleted it & reinstalled it, constantly told my p/word is wrong (it’s not) I reset it anyway, then get an error message that the p/word reset page is broken. Mmm just as I get a price rise

  • rafthemaster
Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@dazzleeds @virginmedia That’s because the router will auto connect without password to show you a diagnostics page to let you self test for issues (no good here as it’s on VM side) once service is back the router will resume normal security mode

  • leemillard1979
Lee Millard (@leemillard1979) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia The automated service has informed me there are issues in my area which an engineer is working on .. due to be fixed at 435pm , but been off since 10pm last night . Not much help really considering what we pay for .

  • melon_h
Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia But why do we have to keep looking for information. Is there no way of updating the customer directly, it is appalling customer communication. What is the problem? Why just keep putting estimates? If it isn't going to be fixed for 48 hours tell us.

  • ItsKatieC0mpt0n
凱蒂 (@ItsKatieC0mpt0n) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia so a tech drills through my hot water pipe, you send a plumber that takes 4 hours to fix, he’s only just left and the pipes are still leaking. Can’t get hold of anyone & it’s ruining my flooring & personal items! What am I supposed to do at this time of the evening??

  • zimoza90
Tony Woodley (@zimoza90) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia No. No response to the online chat or text. Literally nothing, zero, silence. Call volume is no excuse for over 24hrs of no response from a paid for service provider. #CustomerService

  • vishalagga
Vishal Aggarwal 🧢 (@vishalagga) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia @vmbusiness just phoned VM customer support & guys in the background shouted “hey it’s God’s brother calling up in Hindi” that customer was of 90 years of age; I found that remarks so appalling. They must treat their customer with respect as they would expect to be

  • iamnotthelotus
Geoff Low (@iamnotthelotus) reported from Redhill, England

Usual brilliance from VirginMedia, announce via SMS that they will be working in the area on the 13th and internet may be unstable, it was fine all day. Today however....

  • SamuelGoddard17
Samuel Goddard (@SamuelGoddard17) reported from Crawley, England

@zeninternet after 15 years. 5 phone calls later, 3 hours of being on hold, I have finally managed to cancel my @virginmedia account. Look forward to using my new internet connection with you!

  • rafthemaster
Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@theTunnelBear is there an issue using your service on @virginmedia - first time using their internet and I can’t access your website and my bear won’t activate (HTTPS error is thrown rather than a direct blocking notification) think @ThreeUK are also blocking your website

  • 2pintsuk
Tel (@2pintsuk) reported from Redhill, England

@virginmedia upload speeds are constantly slow during the day. As low as 2Mbps at times, in the evening it’s back to 38Mbps. No reboots or usage changes in that time. Has been like this for at least over a week. Download speeds not as impacted.

@Nasher6328 @JamieGBarry @virginmedia Nah **** that. If I need to go through the song and dance anyway I may as well switch and get whatever freebies they throw to new customers. It’s just a stupid system that doesn’t reward loyalty and means we all have to waste our time every 2 years.

  • samhain1

@JamieGBarry @virginmedia Insurance market been doing this for years as we know. There will always be a % of the customer base that won’t be diligent about subs and will automatically move to the new rate without even knowing. They expect other customers to leave knowing they’ll be back again in future

  • Welsh_Villa
