-
korondi joco (@korondijoco) reported from Horley, England@virginmedia Can that diagnose problems with the router?
-
Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England@virginmedia Hi - issue hasn’t resolved from reboot (didn’t appear to be an update). Also seeing very intermediate problems where programs freeze momentarily/blur (almost like on satellite when the weather gets in the way / when the hard drive was struggling to playback files)

Charlie Toon (@Charlie_A_Toon) reported from Crawley, EnglandIs your Virgin TV Go app ever going to work again @virginmedia been down for a wk now. I’ve deleted it & reinstalled it, constantly told my p/word is wrong (it’s not) I reset it anyway, then get an error message that the p/word reset page is broken. Mmm just as I get a price rise

Natalie Exley (@Sexley28) reported from Crawley, England@virginmedia The automated service has informed me there are issues in my area which an engineer is working on .. due to be fixed at 435pm , but been off since 10pm last night . Not much help really considering what we pay for .
-
Charles Brittain (@CharlesB2T) reported from Burgess Hill, England@virginmedia how do I simply cancel my account on a chosen date? It seems impossible to arrange this on your website or app.

1Down5Up (@BinaryWheels) reported from Crawley, EnglandTop tip for anyone considering @VirginMedia or @vmbusiness for their broadband: do yourself a favour, don't. They have a monopoly on speed, which they feel allows them to treat customers appallingly. Complete outage and no one on their "support" team gives a monkeys. #Awesome.

Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England@virginmedia Yes it says there is a known fault which has been going on since Friday at 7pm. No further explanation and the estimate fix just keeps resetting. It is absolutely unacceptable.
-
Peter Gearing (@TheGearing) reported from Edenbridge, England@VirginMediaCorp It was, however the way I saw it I had a contract. Obviously it's written in the small print nobody reads that it can be changed at any time. Different story if I was to stop paying it altogether! Just left a very bad taste in the mouth and a mistrust of all things Virgin Media
-
Trevor (@TRSafcw) reported from Headley, England@Leemhammond @virginmedia Same on Now TV, must be a Sky issue.
-
Charles Brittain (@CharlesB2T) reported from Burgess Hill, England@virginmedia We are happy, now that we're back online, but it was thanks to the two charming and communicative engineers working away in Burgess Hill that saved the day; not just because they'd fixed the issue, but they'd also told me what was going on.
-
Harvey (@hms1967) reported from Crawley, England@virginmedia #badservice I have just called in to get a PAC code and after asking for it and explaining it was due to changing job so no service in area was hung up on!! How

Trevor Graham (@MrTG_Tweets) reported from Redhill, England@itsJuliaHardy Ah!! I work for Virgin Media O2, so I will pick my words carefully. I will speak to people in our customer experience team and get the right course of action so you can get some traction. Hope that's OK.
-
Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England@virginmedia But why do we have to keep looking for information. Is there no way of updating the customer directly, it is appalling customer communication. What is the problem? Why just keep putting estimates? If it isn't going to be fixed for 48 hours tell us.
-
Geoff Low (@iamnotthelotus) reported from Redhill, EnglandUsual brilliance from VirginMedia, announce via SMS that they will be working in the area on the 13th and internet may be unstable, it was fine all day. Today however....
-
Tel (@2pintsuk) reported from Redhill, England@virginmedia upload speeds are constantly slow during the day. As low as 2Mbps at times, in the evening it’s back to 38Mbps. No reboots or usage changes in that time. Has been like this for at least over a week. Download speeds not as impacted.
-
Emma Cooper (@emcooper2) reported from Tandridge, England@virginmedia I changed my direct debit date to 30th of each month and you failed to tell me it wasn’t going to be effective until next months billing cycle. Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
AndyC (@ACforReformUK) reported@Benleo @virginmedia This "quality" service is endemic in the UK these days, there's no accountability, if you got £50 for every aborted attempt, you can bet they'd get it done 1st time every time. OFCOM should punish these firms with huge fines and bring in accountability, otherwise this will just go on.
-
John Mercer (@Merse2506) reported@virginmedia After a week after transfer I still have no NETFLIX. They said 24 hours a week ago. I am a Kylie fanand have already missed promos and now going to miss the show promoted for the past few weeks. If i miss it i will never trust VM again.
-
John Finnigan (@JohnFinnig13970) reported@Benleo @virginmedia About 15 years ago I sent them 25 emails in a month to customer service regarding my internet drop outs. The day before I was due to switch they called me, he said it's my job to convince you to stay. Told him about the emails and it was too little too late. He agreed and hung up
-
Marilyn (@womaninblue1050) reported@virginmedia Thanks. Now I know it’s the faults team I will call that option. That’s all I wanted to know. You cannot help as it’s not for me and I will now help the person it is for. You’ve always managed to help me in the past but you cannot on this occasion.
