@virginmedia 1. You’ve not read my tweet but replied with a standard automated response. 2. I said in my initial tweet that you’ve already told me service is down due to improvements. 3. The link you’ve given says there’s nothing wrong. Your customer service is diabolical.

@virginmedia I pay for 300 meg broadband and have done for a long time. Currently via ethernet cable I get 100 meg and wifi 30-40 meg tops. But as low as 10-15 meg. When trying to stream anything via firestick I get buffering. A few weeks ago we had no problems.

@theTunnelBear is there an issue using your service on @virginmedia - first time using their internet and I can’t access your website and my bear won’t activate (HTTPS error is thrown rather than a direct blocking notification) think @ThreeUK are also blocking your website

@virginmedia No. The reference was not given to me. But the complaint was logged.

@virginmedia I’m sorry but that’s goal post moving. I’m not accepting that as a valid response. If you’re paid money for a service I expect a half decent service. This is 60% of what we are paying for. Also, I complained over the phone and you never responded to my complaint.

@virginmedia No. No response to the online chat or text. Literally nothing, zero, silence. Call volume is no excuse for over 24hrs of no response from a paid for service provider. #CustomerService

@virginmedia I changed my direct debit date to 30th of each month and you failed to tell me it wasn’t going to be effective until next months billing cycle. Now I have charges from my bank. Not a good experience, especially as a new customer. I want my bank charges refunding

@virginmedia Thanks for coming back to me. It’s just my internet is going slow again probably for about the tenth time I’ve had to call in the last 12 months. So I wanted them to check to see what’s wrong with it. Many thanks, rob

@virginmedia Hi - issue hasn’t resolved from reboot (didn’t appear to be an update). Also seeing very intermediate problems where programs freeze momentarily/blur (almost like on satellite when the weather gets in the way / when the hard drive was struggling to playback files)

Get home to find no Internet/WiFi, no TV, stellar service as usual from @virginmedia. Status checker said it would be resolved by 1945, now is says 2330. Last time it was like this, it took almost a whole day to get service back. Glad I have a book to read.....

@virginmedia I’m confused. This isn’t a general concern. This is a complaint and you are legally obliged to handle the complaint or I will simply refer to Ofcom.

@virginmedia family recently got your services and are having a sound issue which looking online is a problem that’s been around a while but I can find if you ever published a resolution - sound on V6 box cuts out intermittently for a moment in Dolby Ditial Audio programs

@ShippersUnbound @virginmedia I had a 3-day gap with BT Broadband, initially they denied any problem, so did Openreach but with due Christmas spirit they (Openreach) eventually accepted they had a major area outage. BT gave me a 4G hub *free to use* while they fixed the problem.

@virginmedia Can you confirm that I can cancel my Direct Debit for Virgin Media. Do you wish to arrange collection of Virgin reuter, view box etc ?
-
Edward Arthur
(@EdwardArthur5) reported
@ShippersUnbound @virginmedia Notwithstanding how poor this is, if you have 4G coverage and a mobile (and reasonable data package) then using your phone as mobile hotspot works well. You're probably doing this already...but lest you are not, it works a treat. Have abandoned wifi altogether & only use 4G.

@virginmedia Yes did that and said I needed booster. Clicked link. 3 hours later, going through security checks 3 times, resetting password twice and frequently changing customer support... got cut off again and had to give up as had other things to do with my day...

@virginmedia Why ? So you can sit and have a good laugh dear. You know I had to move my ill mother out over christmas because her medical equipment ran off wifi. I am outraged at how horrible #virginmedia is. They do not care and those who work for them appear to sell thier souls to the devil

@ShippersUnbound @virginmedia I don’t know if this is helpful to you, Tim, as I don’t know where you live and what media package(s) you have, but our internet service and landline provider for many years has been John Lewis, who use PlusNet to deliver the services, and we have had no cause for complaints.

@ianbennettIOW @ShippersUnbound @virginmedia In fairness, I've had Virgin Media service for near 20 years and never had an outage or ever needed to contact their customer service teams. Great service from my point of view.
