@virginmedia That's who I've been talking to. Spoke to Sabine who has fixed it I think for 4th March. 2 others who couldn't help me, of which was rude and uncaring. All told me different things. It appears its an area fault, which the first one didn't confirm

@virginmedia But why do we have to keep looking for information. Is there no way of updating the customer directly, it is appalling customer communication. What is the problem? Why just keep putting estimates? If it isn't going to be fixed for 48 hours tell us.

@virginmedia so a tech drills through my hot water pipe, you send a plumber that takes 4 hours to fix, he’s only just left and the pipes are still leaking. Can’t get hold of anyone & it’s ruining my flooring & personal items! What am I supposed to do at this time of the evening??

@virginmedia Yes it says there is a known fault which has been going on since Friday at 7pm. No further explanation and the estimate fix just keeps resetting. It is absolutely unacceptable.

@virginmedia At that time only 2 devices were connected. The wifi is pretty much useless, constantly loosing connection. The speed over wifi is extremely low. Do you think it might be an issue with the router?

@VirginMediaCorp It was, however the way I saw it I had a contract. Obviously it's written in the small print nobody reads that it can be changed at any time. Different story if I was to stop paying it altogether! Just left a very bad taste in the mouth and a mistrust of all things Virgin Media

@virginmedia I now have another broadband supplier. You make it too hard to cancel. A 30 minute phone call, just to be told to ring back in FIVE DAYS time because "the system is down".

@virginmedia This is still appalling customer service. I have to register (I did this when things were down in Dec for almost 72 hours), I have to alert etc you are the service provider. How is it good CS that we assume you are lying in estimates? No compensation for Dec either.

@londonsgoth @virginmedia It's out in the whole area. They marked it as fixed and immediately opened a new case so they can claim it isn't the same outage in a 48h period. This way they can claim they don't have to pay out the £8/day compensation that you, me and everyone else in the area are entitled to.

@queenchristina_ @virginmedia I share your frustrations. Call centres half way round the world where there's no sense of responsibility, accountability because of the distances never seem to work. If you're lucky you can reach UK based centres for Virgin and the service is much better.

@virginmedia each and every time I ask for email confirmation I am told it will come through within 48hrs but it never does. There is apparently no other way of sending an email/ letter from your system. Not sure who designed it but it’s clearly not working, how can I get a copy?
