@virginmedia upload speeds are constantly slow during the day. As low as 2Mbps at times, in the evening it’s back to 38Mbps. No reboots or usage changes in that time. Has been like this for at least over a week. Download speeds not as impacted.

@virginmedia At that time only 2 devices were connected. The wifi is pretty much useless, constantly loosing connection. The speed over wifi is extremely low. Do you think it might be an issue with the router?

Hi @virginmedia any news on why our broadband and TV haven't worked since 7pm yesterday in Burgess Hill? No comms and status update just says you are aware with an expected fix moving on in time...

@virginmedia connection is down, your diagnostics state there's a problem and helped me book an engineer but earliest appointment isn't until Tuesday? Seriously? No home phone line for 4/5 days isn't good.

@virginmedia @Coley__76 This is what really annoys your customers. There's no ownership of issues. Your different teams are acting in silos. Why should it be up to the customer who is paying for a service to constantly have to chase and follow up. #VirginMedia

@virginmedia Ok, thank you. But how is it possible that the broadband is so slow but there are no issues?

@virginmedia online to@one of your agents for an hour now, it’s a joke. 6+ minutes to answer any question. I bet if I wanted to upgrade the conversation would be quicker. Shocking service.

@virginmedia Yes it says there is a known fault which has been going on since Friday at 7pm. No further explanation and the estimate fix just keeps resetting. It is absolutely unacceptable.

@VirginMediaCorp It was, however the way I saw it I had a contract. Obviously it's written in the small print nobody reads that it can be changed at any time. Different story if I was to stop paying it altogether! Just left a very bad taste in the mouth and a mistrust of all things Virgin Media

90 mins on hold to speak to @virginmedia about renewing, and they hang up on me. Maybe I should be thinking about cancelling instead. Livid!

@virginmedia But why do we have to keep looking for information. Is there no way of updating the customer directly, it is appalling customer communication. What is the problem? Why just keep putting estimates? If it isn't going to be fixed for 48 hours tell us.

@virginmedia This is still appalling customer service. I have to register (I did this when things were down in Dec for almost 72 hours), I have to alert etc you are the service provider. How is it good CS that we assume you are lying in estimates? No compensation for Dec either.

@virginmedia Hello! WiFi is out in OX5 area and service page says will be resolved today by 3 and 25 April by 2. Am confused - are these 2 separate issues. Which date should I go by to have WiFi back? Am WFH so would be good to have a plan! TVM

@virginmedia are you sending out engineers yet for none emergency work? We need our router moving and you say you couldn't due to government restrictions.
-
John Dix
(@doubleodix) reported
@virginmedia No because I want Virgin to send me a box, not another customer to offer a solution. Only Virgin can solve this problem, it’s not a technical issue.
-

@virginmedia hi, I REALLY need some of your WiFi pods for my house, people on the phone said we can’t get them as our issue isn’t bad enough, but we can’t send an iMessage from 2 rooms upstairs! We are on your most expensive package and I think we should be entitled to them!!
-
John Dix
(@doubleodix) reported
@virginmedia Basically I can’t get assistance by text, phone or Twitter. It’s incredible. Every problem I have I am fobbed off. How about maybe getting someone to contact me to resolve this? I spend £140 a month with you and I’m treated abysmally. Why won’t anyone help?
-
Aleksey Milorava

@virginmedia Awful customer service. Been transferred around between 8 departments, still no internet. All they say it should be resolved within 24-48H. Tried raising complaint over the phone, they just keep saying someone will be in touch shortly...

@virginmedia What's the status on Virgin Internet in Area 21? I've been told that it would be fixed by the 20th, today, and it's not. My upload (speed and stability) has been crippled for weeks and I'm unable to use it for work!
-
Nibky
(@Nibky) reported
@virginmedia I’ve already called and was told because it shows that there is no issue with the router on your side that they’re unable to help me. Even though I’ve been experiencing packet loss for weeks, the agent didn’t even know what packet loss is.
-
Nibky
(@Nibky) reported
@virginmedia I’ve tried everything, can you DM me and have an engineer or new router sent out as there’s nothing else I can do on my end. If you don’t solve my issue by the end of week I’m switching provider as it’s been a problem for weeks.
