Top tip for anyone considering @VirginMedia or @vmbusiness for their broadband: do yourself a favour, don't. They have a monopoly on speed, which they feel allows them to treat customers appallingly. Complete outage and no one on their "support" team gives a monkeys. #Awesome.

@virginmedia your phone lines are telling people your call centre are closed! I have had an issue with our bill since we opened our account with you. I was apologised to on the 30th October and ASSURED the credit would be applied to November’s bill. Just been charged full amount!

@virginmedia It wasn't possible as the engineer was intent on leaving as soon as he could, he didn't even check if all was working OK. The WiFi issue took had to be sorted out in the evening when I was on the phone to support for nearly 2 hours

@virginmedia Yes they’re faster closer to it, which is obvious. But the fact I can’t use it upstairs when it’s at the bottom of the stairs. I’ve been told about them and 1. I’m not paying for that and 2. I’ve been told there’s no point in getting one anyway as it won’t help from your team

@virginmedia So, TV and broadband down. It’s been a while but you do really like to remind me how bad your service can be. No customer service complaints here - been there , done that, never doing it again. Paying lots of money for very old equipment with no offers of upgrades.

@virginmedia Cable was cut by contractor. 4 days later your engineer attended and re connected and put a gel pack round to protect the cables & joint. Earth put back yesterday & cable fell out connector in the gel pack. I have zero service again.

Getting fed up with @virginmedia the WiFi app is still not working and replies on community take ages and haven’t fixed it. Luckily I worked a go around using the internet not app to fix the booster but this is ridiculous
