Get home to find no Internet/WiFi, no TV, stellar service as usual from @virginmedia. Status checker said it would be resolved by 1945, now is says 2330. Last time it was like this, it took almost a whole day to get service back. Glad I have a book to read.....

@virginmedia No. No response to the online chat or text. Literally nothing, zero, silence. Call volume is no excuse for over 24hrs of no response from a paid for service provider. #CustomerService

@virginmedia been trying to cancel my services for 6 months now. This is absolutely ridiculous. Being fobbed off month after month. Telling me I will incur costs. Please get your act together. I just want to leave. Every month you say my contract runs out the next month.

@virginmedia 1. You’ve not read my tweet but replied with a standard automated response. 2. I said in my initial tweet that you’ve already told me service is down due to improvements. 3. The link you’ve given says there’s nothing wrong. Your customer service is diabolical.

@virginmedia @MattX1971 They just keep telling us the same old thing…that there’s a known problem in the area and it will be fix in x days time. You are missing the point which is there’s always a problem. We are paying for a service that you are failing to provide.

@virginmedia I’ve tried calling to ask a human this but your phone options are infuriating. Can I get a WiFi booster from you? I see it’s been replaced by your new pod service but that’s fully subscribed. I don’t get WiFi in half of my (not v big) flat.
