    @virginmedia your company is a joke. Tv and broadband down yet again - already have an ongoing complaint about the service with ofcom. Pay extra to have sky sports packages and can’t even do that today. And we can’t even speak to a human ! @SkyUK we shouldn’t have left 😭

    @virginmedia Yeah, I'm sure they thought long and hard about that one... Services continue to get worse, prices continue to go up under the guise of making them better but never actually do, only new customers get good deals and discount, loyalty not rewarded at all.

    @virginmedia Are you able to advise IF this is going to be fixed, yesterday you said by 10am today. Then 2pm,6pm & now 10am tomorrow - could live with the loss of either service but it’s really impacting not having either!

    Virgin media services are down my internet is okish! Can’t access to the virgin media websites to find out what’s going on! Only to find out on virgin media tweets that there is a problem everywhere and is currently fixing it as I tweet!

    @virginmedia The automated service has informed me there are issues in my area which an engineer is working on .. due to be fixed at 435pm , but been off since 10pm last night . Not much help really considering what we pay for .

    @virginmedia At that time only 2 devices were connected. The wifi is pretty much useless, constantly loosing connection. The speed over wifi is extremely low. Do you think it might be an issue with the router?

    @virginmedia I pay for 300 meg broadband and have done for a long time. Currently via ethernet cable I get 100 meg and wifi 30-40 meg tops. But as low as 10-15 meg. When trying to stream anything via firestick I get buffering. A few weeks ago we had no problems.

    @virginmedia we're getting really slow WiFi speeds on all Apple devices using the new Hub 3.0. Android devices are okay. It's just iPhones and iPads that are on a go slow. Any advice/tips to solve this?

    @virginmedia so a tech drills through my hot water pipe, you send a plumber that takes 4 hours to fix, he’s only just left and the pipes are still leaking. Can’t get hold of anyone & it’s ruining my flooring & personal items! What am I supposed to do at this time of the evening??

    @PeteUK7 @virginmedia Same problem with @skytv. Told them mum had died & wanted account closed. They said "we cannot close the account, we need to talk to the account holder". I repeated she died. I gave up, sent the equipment back & ignored the flurry of demanding emails. Very distressing.

    @PeteUK7 @virginmedia contact the ombudsman directly virgin media is useless they signed us up for their stay connected service w/o telling us and kept sending us bills when we didn't even have their equipment basically the ombudsman is the best way to get them to stop harassing you for money

    @JamieGBarry @virginmedia High time Ofcom simply banned new-customer prices. Let’s have the same prices for everyone, and the out-of-contract prices should get equal prominence. Even the biggest @MartinSLewis worshipper is fatigued by constant switching

    @virginmedia due to last nights thunderstorm in WS14 the fiber broadband had been down since 3am. Spoke to a human at 8:30am who said they are waiting for an update. No internet for 9 hours for many people who WFH. Any updates would be appreciated

    @JamieGBarry @virginmedia It’s ridiculous, and a predatory business practice. Raise the out of contract price by 2-3x and, if one customer doesn’t noticed but 2 cancel, they’ve still increased revenue and reduced overheads and admin.

    @virginmedia @JamieGBarry Absolute pish !!! I had an introductory offer of £94 for 18 months !! Then it jumped to £205 😵😵. Exact same package. Looked at recontract - offered less services, slower broadband etc for £170. Don’t believe the recontract nonsense, it’s still expensive and a lesser service

    @davekeena1 @virginmedia Mate I would reconsider virgin. Their customer service is the worst. They will admit they messed up but do nothing to rectify it. The staff are either inadequately trained or simply don’t care. Manager are the same unqualified under trained and useless

    @PeteUK7 @virginmedia reminded me of when my dad passed away with the then "orange" mobile network, called to cancel and pay the outstanding balance, they insisted on speaking with the account holder? explained he had died, they still demanded to speak to him! never the less the bill was left unpaid
