Top tip for anyone considering @VirginMedia or @vmbusiness for their broadband: do yourself a favour, don't. They have a monopoly on speed, which they feel allows them to treat customers appallingly. Complete outage and no one on their "support" team gives a monkeys. #Awesome.

@virginmedia as holding time is up to one hour why don’t you have a call back service like many others companies. On hold for up to one hour from my mobile to deal with an issue we had for months

@virginmedia If you live in Southampton check out @toobbroadband if I were you. I get 900mb upload and 900mb download for £25 a month…never gone down once…just saying and yes I used to be with virgin and come any service was shocking when I said I was leaving they kept hanging up on me
