@virginmedia Thanks John. This is really poor service though, when we called your customer services yesterday they said there was no problem & nothing they could do. An estimated fix date? For your deaf and hard of hearing customers, this isn’t good enough I’m afraid @scope @RNID

@virginmedia so a tech drills through my hot water pipe, you send a plumber that takes 4 hours to fix, he’s only just left and the pipes are still leaking. Can’t get hold of anyone & it’s ruining my flooring & personal items! What am I supposed to do at this time of the evening??

Usual brilliance from VirginMedia, announce via SMS that they will be working in the area on the 13th and internet may be unstable, it was fine all day. Today however....

@virginmedia we're getting really slow WiFi speeds on all Apple devices using the new Hub 3.0. Android devices are okay. It's just iPhones and iPads that are on a go slow. Any advice/tips to solve this?

@virginmedia Yes it says there is a known fault which has been going on since Friday at 7pm. No further explanation and the estimate fix just keeps resetting. It is absolutely unacceptable.

@virginmedia This is still appalling customer service. I have to register (I did this when things were down in Dec for almost 72 hours), I have to alert etc you are the service provider. How is it good CS that we assume you are lying in estimates? No compensation for Dec either.

Virgin media services are down my internet is okish! Can’t access to the virgin media websites to find out what’s going on! Only to find out on virgin media tweets that there is a problem everywhere and is currently fixing it as I tweet!

@virginmedia But why do we have to keep looking for information. Is there no way of updating the customer directly, it is appalling customer communication. What is the problem? Why just keep putting estimates? If it isn't going to be fixed for 48 hours tell us.

@virginmedia I now have another broadband supplier. You make it too hard to cancel. A 30 minute phone call, just to be told to ring back in FIVE DAYS time because "the system is down".

@virginmedia That's who I've been talking to. Spoke to Sabine who has fixed it I think for 4th March. 2 others who couldn't help me, of which was rude and uncaring. All told me different things. It appears its an area fault, which the first one didn't confirm

@virginmedia What are you going to do about the consistent issues I’ve had? Been paying for gigabit speeds for 8 months and I’ve never seen it above 200mb
-
Ben Goodall
(@BenGoodall1978) reported
Reasons to hate @virginmedia tech. 1. The set top box doesn’t support wireless connection to router/hub. 2. Virgin cables are notoriously inflexible and have long bulky connections meaning you can’t have your hub flush against a wall.

Katie Randall

@virginmedia our broadband is down. I've checked the service tracker which says our area is fine; the detailed test says it isn't and engineers are working on it - but no job number or details are given. How do we contact to get this resolved?
-

@virginmedia No it’s not resolved because @virginmedia or @YodelOnline have not responded to any of our messages. I’ve never known such appalling customer service

@Simple_john1 I’ve never paid for ppv. When I was with Bt then the sport was free. Technically speaking I guess I’m paying with my virgin media contract but the tv element is the basic one. Also I do pay for my tv licence so again I spose im paying.

@virginmedia @vmbusinesshelp Yes. Many times. And all other routes of communication. After 5 days, its just back online. The issue in the end was a code sent by VM on sms to log me in... It was incorrect. Special.
