Get home to find no Internet/WiFi, no TV, stellar service as usual from @virginmedia. Status checker said it would be resolved by 1945, now is says 2330. Last time it was like this, it took almost a whole day to get service back. Glad I have a book to read.....

  • AnnaDaw150765
Anna Dawson (@AnnaDaw150765) reported from Redhill, England

@AFCBCarl @virginmedia Yep just called them and they can’t help cos all their systems are down 😡 bloody useless

  • Eddie_Vermeer
Eddie Vermeer (@Eddie_Vermeer) reported from East Grinstead, England

@virginmedia connection is down, your diagnostics state there's a problem and helped me book an engineer but earliest appointment isn't until Tuesday? Seriously? No home phone line for 4/5 days isn't good.

  • Georgiaknipe
Ge (@Georgiaknipe) reported from Broadbridge Heath, England

@virginmedia still awaiting on confirmation for my latest order said it would be here today had nothing in the post and no email to say what’s happening could you help please

  • rafthemaster
Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia are you able to check on a fault by location for me. I don’t have access to the VM account but the last I heard was it should of been resolved by 10am today and it’s still down, account holder won’t be available for hours to check

  • josie_milligan
josie🗽 (@josie_milligan) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia our TV and Internet have been out since 12, fix been pushed back twice to tomorrow now. No good enough for 100 quid a month.

  • Mrs_Spurs_1882
Lisa 💜💜 (@Mrs_Spurs_1882) reported from Horley, England

@virginmedia trying to report a landline fault. Your web help couldn't be anymore unhelpful and I can stand anymore of your on hold music on the phone. Please advise on what I can do.

  • BinaryWheels
1Down5Up (@BinaryWheels) reported from Crawley, England

Top tip for anyone considering @VirginMedia or @vmbusiness for their broadband: do yourself a favour, don't. They have a monopoly on speed, which they feel allows them to treat customers appallingly. Complete outage and no one on their "support" team gives a monkeys. #Awesome.

  • SMLJacinto
Sonia Jacinto (@SMLJacinto) reported from Salfords, England

@virginmedia @StockerAlex And yes @StockerAlex it is true, in a 2 hour phone call, you talk with several members of staff, and to each one you have to start the same conversation over and over again! @virginmedia not good! Improve customer service, and don’t lie to your clients!

  • CharlesB2T
Charles Brittain (@CharlesB2T) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia A problem, which I'd like you to address, is that we don't know what the problem is. Last time this happened in October it turned out that the waterworks people had dug through 15 cables and it all had to be reattached.

  • Robert_Groves69
Robert groves (@Robert_Groves69) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia no service again sort it out virgin, #useless #nohelpinsight

  • GaryAblett3
Greyman (Gary A) (@GaryAblett3) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia I’m sorry but that’s goal post moving. I’m not accepting that as a valid response. If you’re paid money for a service I expect a half decent service. This is 60% of what we are paying for. Also, I complained over the phone and you never responded to my complaint.

  • ColynMitchell
Mitch (@ColynMitchell) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia Reboot temporarily increased the speed but nothing near the service I was getting in the past. I work from home a need fast connection. So need this sorted out please.

  • deanwoods
Dean Woods (@deanwoods) reported from Horley, England

@virginmedia we're getting really slow WiFi speeds on all Apple devices using the new Hub 3.0. Android devices are okay. It's just iPhones and iPads that are on a go slow. Any advice/tips to solve this?

  • deanwoods
Dean Woods 💙 (@deanwoods) reported from Horley, England

@virginmedia @Coley__76 This is what really annoys your customers. There's no ownership of issues. Your different teams are acting in silos. Why should it be up to the customer who is paying for a service to constantly have to chase and follow up. #VirginMedia

  • AnnaDaw150765
Anna Dawson (@AnnaDaw150765) reported from Redhill, England

@virginmedia service is down in the Reigate, Surrey area - your app says the problem is known, please advise when this will be sorted. Thank you 🙏

  • EntertainerJoel
JoelTheEntertainer (@EntertainerJoel) reported from Redhill, England

@virginmedia Hi Good Morning I had an look on my virgin media website to see if there is an fault in my area and apparently there’s an fault? I would like to see if there’s an problem? I tried switching on and off again on the internet thing.

  • rafthemaster
Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@Ben76593214 @virginmedia Where are you getting these “rumours” or are you making it up? Granted Virgin are unhelpful in communicating & keep moving the resolution time (but not until it’s almost reached)

  • iamnotthelotus
Geoff Low (@iamnotthelotus) reported from Redhill, England

Usual brilliance from VirginMedia, announce via SMS that they will be working in the area on the 13th and internet may be unstable, it was fine all day. Today however....

  • AnnaDaw150765
Anna Dawson (@AnnaDaw150765) reported from Redhill, England

@virginmedia We are back online, it’s very intermittent in our area tho and I know others are having the same problem

  • declancarty
    Declan Carty (@declancarty) reported

@IrishTimes Perhaps someone like the excellent Patrick Freyne might investigate why, after all these YEARS, Sky subscribers in the ROI cannot get ITV channels, whilst Virgin Media customers have no probs in doing so. Is it still supposed to be a ‘rights’ issue ????

  • montesdeocapj
Pedro Montes de Oca (@montesdeocapj) reported

I need a lawyer or a support group to help me file a complaint against Virgin @virginmedia regarding issues with their internet service.

  • JHNaismith
    James (Jim) Naismith (@JHNaismith) reported

Usually optimistic on technological progress so disappointed broadband speed being > halved to 67Mbps next month by @bt_uk. @virginmedia can’t fix their “blocked duct” at front door, not good advert for uk infrastructure, I live in Jericho, central Oxford, not remote Highlands.

  • SuccessWLewis1
    Success W Lewis (@SuccessWLewis1) reported

@virginmedia Trying to play @PlayStation @granturismo ? Don't bother! It's just a few tracks and cars in arcade mode without an internet connection! I have home entertainment to prevent these corporate based issues.

  • DermotCarmody
    Dermot Carmody (@DermotCarmody) reported

@virginmedia hi. Your phone service and chat service are both failing after I input my account number.

  • Dharmi04

  • GauBan
    GauBan_Penguin 🐧*Audio Description: Blue Tick* (@GauBan) reported

Virgin Media/O2 service event to **** when they started using the same type of call centres that Scammer PayBack would have interest in.

  • leeharding1980
    Lord Lee Harding (@leeharding1980) reported

@virginmedia Hello.... The Sky Sports News channel on the Sky Sports app is lagging and the audio keeps cutting out... I've contacted Sky, they told me to contact you as the account is a Virgin Media... Can you help?

  • Bev2810
    Bev Terry 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 (@Bev2810) reported

@virginmedia you don’t bother looking after loyal customers do you ? want to offer my renewal for more than what I can get as a new customer

  • Rach_EL_1982
    Rach A (@Rach_EL_1982) reported

Virgin media charging a loyal customer of 20 years £114 per month is a little bit of a joke when we have a speed test of 63 and new customers get 500 …. Sort it out virgin media
