Get home to find no Internet/WiFi, no TV, stellar service as usual from @virginmedia. Status checker said it would be resolved by 1945, now is says 2330. Last time it was like this, it took almost a whole day to get service back. Glad I have a book to read.....

@virginmedia I changed my direct debit date to 30th of each month and you failed to tell me it wasn’t going to be effective until next months billing cycle. Now I have charges from my bank. Not a good experience, especially as a new customer. I want my bank charges refunding

@virginmedia I pay for 300 meg broadband and have done for a long time. Currently via ethernet cable I get 100 meg and wifi 30-40 meg tops. But as low as 10-15 meg. When trying to stream anything via firestick I get buffering. A few weeks ago we had no problems.

@virginmedia Hi - issue hasn’t resolved from reboot (didn’t appear to be an update). Also seeing very intermediate problems where programs freeze momentarily/blur (almost like on satellite when the weather gets in the way / when the hard drive was struggling to playback files)

@virginmedia @StockerAlex And yes @StockerAlex it is true, in a 2 hour phone call, you talk with several members of staff, and to each one you have to start the same conversation over and over again! @virginmedia not good! Improve customer service, and don’t lie to your clients!

@virginmedia I’m sorry but that’s goal post moving. I’m not accepting that as a valid response. If you’re paid money for a service I expect a half decent service. This is 60% of what we are paying for. Also, I complained over the phone and you never responded to my complaint.

@virginmedia I’m confused. This isn’t a general concern. This is a complaint and you are legally obliged to handle the complaint or I will simply refer to Ofcom.

@theTunnelBear is there an issue using your service on @virginmedia - first time using their internet and I can’t access your website and my bear won’t activate (HTTPS error is thrown rather than a direct blocking notification) think @ThreeUK are also blocking your website

@virginmedia No. No response to the online chat or text. Literally nothing, zero, silence. Call volume is no excuse for over 24hrs of no response from a paid for service provider. #CustomerService

@virginmedia Thanks for coming back to me. It’s just my internet is going slow again probably for about the tenth time I’ve had to call in the last 12 months. So I wanted them to check to see what’s wrong with it. Many thanks, rob

@virginmedia family recently got your services and are having a sound issue which looking online is a problem that’s been around a while but I can find if you ever published a resolution - sound on V6 box cuts out intermittently for a moment in Dolby Ditial Audio programs

@virginmedia 1. You’ve not read my tweet but replied with a standard automated response. 2. I said in my initial tweet that you’ve already told me service is down due to improvements. 3. The link you’ve given says there’s nothing wrong. Your customer service is diabolical.

@virginmedia Yes, I did check. No it didn't show an issue at the time, but there was one (as evident from multiple complaints) and was eventually fixed. It would be better to have an option to report an issue not just book (then cancel) an engineer

Lorna greenheld

@virginmedia You tell me if there’s an outage because I’ve had that many different stories it’s ridiculous

@virginmedia To confirm. My internet keeps dropping a couple of times a week and when I jump on the app it always appear to be that work is being done in the area. The connection is unstable. I can't rely on it. Has been like it for a long time. How much work needs doing?!?
-
Charlie

@virginmedia Yep, seems @virginmedia have locked it due to a perceived malware issue despite my devices being covered with Norton AV 4 scans found zero issues but @virginmedia are unable to unlock it. I have been forced into creating gmail accounts, sick of this issue

@virginmedia You assure me??? In four calls they've assured me that they make up numbers, they make up prioritising, they even made up that I'm actually not cut off! They make it up and they dont do anything to resolve the issue. Absolutely nothing.
-

@Matt_Smith_1983 @virginmedia My internet has been shite for weeks. Buffering, having to switch it on and off all the time. For the amount I pay, I expect the internet to work without any issues

@virginmedia By faulty, it does cut out in areas of the home where it used to work better. Can you either do me a new hub or some of the pods ?

@virginmedia Expand a little.... Ok.... At 52 mins past the hour on the hour since the "engineer" fixed the issue... We have lost internet connection which means we've lost TV, internet & phone. Again putting you in breach of ofcom regulations.
