Greyman (Gary A) (@GaryAblett3) reported from Crawley, England@virginmedia I’m confused. This isn’t a general concern. This is a complaint and you are legally obliged to handle the complaint or I will simply refer to Ofcom.
-
Tony Woodley (@zimoza90) reported from Burgess Hill, England@virginmedia No. No response to the online chat or text. Literally nothing, zero, silence. Call volume is no excuse for over 24hrs of no response from a paid for service provider. #CustomerService
-
mattieb (@mattie_b83) reported from Crawley, EnglandWhat a load a shit @viginmedia is ! Just spent 13 quid on a movie that wont even play ! So gonna look at different companies virgin media is just expensive crap
-
Sonia Jacinto (@SMLJacinto) reported from Salfords, England@virginmedia @StockerAlex And yes @StockerAlex it is true, in a 2 hour phone call, you talk with several members of staff, and to each one you have to start the same conversation over and over again! @virginmedia not good! Improve customer service, and don’t lie to your clients!
-
Mr.Cocktail 🍸 (@AndyCockell) reported from Dorking, England@virginmedia 1. You’ve not read my tweet but replied with a standard automated response. 2. I said in my initial tweet that you’ve already told me service is down due to improvements. 3. The link you’ve given says there’s nothing wrong. Your customer service is diabolical.
-
Mitch (@ColynMitchell) reported from Crawley, England@virginmedia I pay for 300 meg broadband and have done for a long time. Currently via ethernet cable I get 100 meg and wifi 30-40 meg tops. But as low as 10-15 meg. When trying to stream anything via firestick I get buffering. A few weeks ago we had no problems.
-
Emma Cooper (@emcooper2) reported from Tandridge, England@virginmedia I changed my direct debit date to 30th of each month and you failed to tell me it wasn’t going to be effective until next months billing cycle. Now I have charges from my bank. Not a good experience, especially as a new customer. I want my bank charges refunding
-
Greyman (Gary A) (@GaryAblett3) reported from Crawley, England@virginmedia I’m sorry but that’s goal post moving. I’m not accepting that as a valid response. If you’re paid money for a service I expect a half decent service. This is 60% of what we are paying for. Also, I complained over the phone and you never responded to my complaint.
-

Iain (@Skiddles1985) reported from Crawley, EnglandGet home to find no Internet/WiFi, no TV, stellar service as usual from @virginmedia. Status checker said it would be resolved by 1945, now is says 2330. Last time it was like this, it took almost a whole day to get service back. Glad I have a book to read.....
-
Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England@virginmedia Hi - issue hasn’t resolved from reboot (didn’t appear to be an update). Also seeing very intermediate problems where programs freeze momentarily/blur (almost like on satellite when the weather gets in the way / when the hard drive was struggling to playback files)
-
Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England@theTunnelBear is there an issue using your service on @virginmedia - first time using their internet and I can’t access your website and my bear won’t activate (HTTPS error is thrown rather than a direct blocking notification) think @ThreeUK are also blocking your website

David Gordon (@gordonwd) reported@virginmedia I can, but the problem is fairly obviously lack of local-loop capacity? Not clear how a help forum can assist with that.

-

-
Millie Elsdon (@Millie_Elsdon) reported@virginmedia No, there are no issues in our area; this was the first thing we checked 15 days ago. We have a new router and have set it up, all of the lights are on, but no WiFi options coming up to connect to. Have followed troubleshooting, hard reset numerous times.
-
Chris Haigh (@ChrisHaighmusic) reported@virginmedia your complaints department is not great!! (To say the least) I’ve had a complaint open since early august, spoke to several of you staff on the phone (waste of time). Still nothing resolved! Not a happy customer 🤬
-
Mo (@MoIsm20) reported@virginmedia They've advised me that there's an issue in the post code (your website states that there are no issues in the post code) and they've given me no date for resolution. I've had to pay extra for mobile data in order to tether my work laptop to my phone as the issue is getting worse
-
Andy Cunningham (@AndyCun34694962) reported@virginmedia Yes . Eureka. It is now working via the router /adapter . God help any old folk as my phone may not be near the router to plug in .
-
Jeanette Wild (@jeanette_wild) reported@virginmedia I am trying to get help to fix my broadband which has been down for 14 hours - finally got through to one of your team and they hung up mid way through the conversation. I have important meetings today and need the internet fixed asap. Can someone please get in touch
-
Mo (@MoIsm20) reported@virginmedia No problem, maybe the independent regulators ofcom and FCA will view the issue differently in that case.
-
Sebastian (@andreiBEZANGO) reported@O2 Hi. I had some help from virgin media. The issue seems to be within the browser. Logging inside the app works so I'm going to use that from now on. Thanks.
