Get home to find no Internet/WiFi, no TV, stellar service as usual from @virginmedia. Status checker said it would be resolved by 1945, now is says 2330. Last time it was like this, it took almost a whole day to get service back. Glad I have a book to read.....

@RomperCrompton @virginmedia The thing is, the phone and broadband use the same physical cabling and network... it’s more a historic pricing model but based upon the shared system

@virginmedia your company is a joke. Tv and broadband down yet again - already have an ongoing complaint about the service with ofcom. Pay extra to have sky sports packages and can’t even do that today. And we can’t even speak to a human ! @SkyUK we shouldn’t have left 😭

@virginmedia Thanks for coming back to me. It’s just my internet is going slow again probably for about the tenth time I’ve had to call in the last 12 months. So I wanted them to check to see what’s wrong with it. Many thanks, rob

@virginmedia No. No response to the online chat or text. Literally nothing, zero, silence. Call volume is no excuse for over 24hrs of no response from a paid for service provider. #CustomerService

Is your Virgin TV Go app ever going to work again @virginmedia been down for a wk now. I’ve deleted it & reinstalled it, constantly told my p/word is wrong (it’s not) I reset it anyway, then get an error message that the p/word reset page is broken. Mmm just as I get a price rise

@virginmedia been trying to cancel my services for 6 months now. This is absolutely ridiculous. Being fobbed off month after month. Telling me I will incur costs. Please get your act together. I just want to leave. Every month you say my contract runs out the next month.

@virginmedia I have requested numerous times for phone transcripts to be provided and each complaint I have raised has been closed because VM feel it has been resolved from their side. I don’t think that’s his complaint procedures should work. I am left unhappy and overpaying for a service

@virginmedia Just received an email about channels. Coincidence 🤔 (even though it doesn't mention any being removed) No pop up seen on ITV or ITV3 which are the ones I've become aware of so far I'm using guesswork to fix this. I'm sure you could easily switch these in a couple of clicks

My weekly tweet about how unreliable the internet is with @virginmedia . Its great. Their page claims there are no issues in your area, then when you ask to have them check it out anyways “sorry we cant run tests anyhow”. This is London internet for ya

@virginmedia Hi TW, I was not. I've been a customer for 21 and a half years. My package is way too expensive, and with an extra £21.50 on top it's practically unaffordable. If I was a new customer I could get the Ultimate Volt Bundle with Gig1 broadband and an O2 SIM for £79 right now.

@virginmedia I have called multiple times. The frustrating thing is, why should I have to call, for you to retain business. Why should they have to cancel to wait a few months to get an offer a new customer can!? How is that a good business model. Your customer service is so poor 1/2
