@virginmedia I changed my direct debit date to 30th of each month and you failed to tell me it wasn’t going to be effective until next months billing cycle. Now I have charges from my bank. Not a good experience, especially as a new customer. I want my bank charges refunding

@virginmedia No. No response to the online chat or text. Literally nothing, zero, silence. Call volume is no excuse for over 24hrs of no response from a paid for service provider. #CustomerService

Is your Virgin TV Go app ever going to work again @virginmedia been down for a wk now. I’ve deleted it & reinstalled it, constantly told my p/word is wrong (it’s not) I reset it anyway, then get an error message that the p/word reset page is broken. Mmm just as I get a price rise

@virginmedia you are definitely in a different universe as your definition of “thirty seconds or less” on your customer service line is a lot different to mine

@virginmedia 1. You’ve not read my tweet but replied with a standard automated response. 2. I said in my initial tweet that you’ve already told me service is down due to improvements. 3. The link you’ve given says there’s nothing wrong. Your customer service is diabolical.

@virginmedia Thanks for coming back to me. It’s just my internet is going slow again probably for about the tenth time I’ve had to call in the last 12 months. So I wanted them to check to see what’s wrong with it. Many thanks, rob

@virginmedia been trying to cancel my services for 6 months now. This is absolutely ridiculous. Being fobbed off month after month. Telling me I will incur costs. Please get your act together. I just want to leave. Every month you say my contract runs out the next month.

@RomperCrompton @virginmedia The thing is, the phone and broadband use the same physical cabling and network... it’s more a historic pricing model but based upon the shared system

@virginmedia I’m sorry but that’s goal post moving. I’m not accepting that as a valid response. If you’re paid money for a service I expect a half decent service. This is 60% of what we are paying for. Also, I complained over the phone and you never responded to my complaint.

Get home to find no Internet/WiFi, no TV, stellar service as usual from @virginmedia. Status checker said it would be resolved by 1945, now is says 2330. Last time it was like this, it took almost a whole day to get service back. Glad I have a book to read.....

@virginmedia I’ve been through all this several times. I’ve phoned and been on to 7 different advisors. Either this gets sorted today or I go to trading standards because your service I shocking.
-
Simon
(@ST81) reported
@virginmedia Yes I have. It’s usually says status okay and then after an hour it will admit there is a fault and an engineer is on its way, it’ll give an estimated fix time and 80% miss it. Luckily when it’s been for hours I have this feed as a reference. Meanwhile I can’t use my service.
-
Sleep Cove

@virginmedia Could you maybe up your customer service and actually ring me directly? I still haven't got an apology for what occurred last week. Drop me a direct message and I will give you the number.
-
Simon
(@ST81) reported
@virginmedia Exactly. My broadband has never gone out during working hours, it’s always overnight and when I call the next day your operators can’t do anything because they can’t see any fault occurring and they have no information about what had happened.
-
Caroline@CraftyArts
(@CarrieAnne001) reported
@virginmedia I think so. I need to take a closer look at it. I could hardly understand the guy. I kept telling him he was speaking too quickly and I couldn't understand, but he kept talking too quickly. I guess VM trains them to deliberately wear the customers down!
-
Gem
(@Gems354) reported
@virginmedia No we only realised we had no phone line in the walls when are alarm person came around to look into it. To add insult to it all you have now just text me to say you are cancelling the engineer?? I have put an official complaint in now as im really shocked about this altogether
-
David Ellis
(@mrellis79) reported
@virginmedia No. I had a call from retentions today offering to send another engineer out and if I was still unhappy I could cancel within my 14 day cooling off period. In other words I would have to sign up again to get an engineer out. I'm paying for 30 days with only 1 of the boxes working
