@virginmedia your phone lines are telling people your call centre are closed! I have had an issue with our bill since we opened our account with you. I was apologised to on the 30th October and ASSURED the credit would be applied to November’s bill. Just been charged full amount!

@virginmedia are you able to check on a fault by location for me. I don’t have access to the VM account but the last I heard was it should of been resolved by 10am today and it’s still down, account holder won’t be available for hours to check

@Ben76593214 @virginmedia Where are you getting these “rumours” or are you making it up? Granted Virgin are unhelpful in communicating & keep moving the resolution time (but not until it’s almost reached)

@virginmedia since supposedly upgrading the network in #reigate on 5th November broadband is constantly dropping out and to make matters worse customer service is uncontactable. What are you doing to provide a consistent broadband service

@virginmedia Are you able to advise IF this is going to be fixed, yesterday you said by 10am today. Then 2pm,6pm & now 10am tomorrow - could live with the loss of either service but it’s really impacting not having either!

@virginmedia Looked for a moment like it was back, both the TiVo and router self restarted - is this meant to happen as part of work that may be being done?, unfortunately hasn’t resulted in restoration of service. Confirmed on service page it’s still an outage in the area

@virginmedia A problem, which I'd like you to address, is that we don't know what the problem is. Last time this happened in October it turned out that the waterworks people had dug through 15 cables and it all had to be reattached.

@virginmedia Yeah, I'm sure they thought long and hard about that one... Services continue to get worse, prices continue to go up under the guise of making them better but never actually do, only new customers get good deals and discount, loyalty not rewarded at all.

@virginmedia I only found this out by talking to the engineers working at getting us all attached again, down our road, but if we don't know this, it looks as though it is your equipment which is at fault. To be fully kept up to speed with real info, will stop nightmare thoughts from growing.

@dazzleeds @virginmedia That’s because the router will auto connect without password to show you a diagnostics page to let you self test for issues (no good here as it’s on VM side) once service is back the router will resume normal security mode

@virginmedia Well I've just had a "sort of" resolution but still not really acceptable. I gave 30 days notice to cancel my services as want to get Sky. Sky and Openreach are coming tomorrow to fit phoneline & services. I have booked a day off work for this. If there is still (cont) >>

@virginmedia I know how it works, I’ve been using it with EE for years. The problem is it doesn’t work properly with virgin mobile, that’s a fact. It doesn’t work properly at home, work or another location I frequent. Don’t gaslight me.

@virginmedia It was a line manager I ended up speaking to. Again, was told I could pay a subscription service to have the issue fixed or wait almost a week. My neighbours have the same problem so it must be an area wide fault despite what the customer service team say…
-

@virginmedia Your online service status says there is a problem with broadband but does not say for how long - my neighbours in the area also experiencing the problem on a day you send me a bill for a new hub £35 which is disgusting

-
Richard Lane

@virginmedia The only thing that did happen was the port of the number to BT. A complaint was made in January and a ticket opened. There was no contact from Virgin until an email was received yesterday which indicated the service had been terminated on 18/02/22.

@virginmedia And their reply to this raised a second query ... 2. The reply suggested that the app is used to confirm the hub3 internet settings. Is this essential, or can it be configured via wifi/ethernet on the network, as with the older routers? Thanks! /3
