@Ben76593214 @virginmedia Where are you getting these “rumours” or are you making it up? Granted Virgin are unhelpful in communicating & keep moving the resolution time (but not until it’s almost reached)

  • CharlesB2T
Charles Brittain (@CharlesB2T) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia I am bitterly disappointed that you have only been able to provide a broadband service for a week and now there's nothing. My work relies on fast reliable broadband. If this doesn't get fixed this Monday, I'll be seeking another provider.

  • ColynMitchell
Mitch (@ColynMitchell) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia I pay for 300 meg broadband and have done for a long time. Currently via ethernet cable I get 100 meg and wifi 30-40 meg tops. But as low as 10-15 meg. When trying to stream anything via firestick I get buffering. A few weeks ago we had no problems.

  • jettypaul71
Jeff Webber (@jettypaul71) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia I have no TV but you are not taking calls so how can I sort issue - looks like you changed/cancelled my account!!??

  • craigdfreeman
Craig Freeman (@craigdfreeman) reported from Redhill, England

@virginmedia first day as a new customer and hub 3 isn’t working and stream box isn’t turning on. Have followed guides on both counts and all cables are connected correctly. Hub is giving out a signal but light isn’t turning white. Stream box is totally dead. So frustrating!

  • anjiMD
TheRealAngelinaDavey (@anjiMD) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia been trying to cancel my services for 6 months now. This is absolutely ridiculous. Being fobbed off month after month. Telling me I will incur costs. Please get your act together. I just want to leave. Every month you say my contract runs out the next month.

  • TRSafcw
Trevor (@TRSafcw) reported from Headley, England

@Leemhammond @virginmedia Same on Now TV, must be a Sky issue.

  • Skiddles1985
Iain (@Skiddles1985) reported from Crawley, England

Get home to find no Internet/WiFi, no TV, stellar service as usual from @virginmedia. Status checker said it would be resolved by 1945, now is says 2330. Last time it was like this, it took almost a whole day to get service back. Glad I have a book to read.....

  • rafthemaster
Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@theTunnelBear is there an issue using your service on @virginmedia - first time using their internet and I can’t access your website and my bear won’t activate (HTTPS error is thrown rather than a direct blocking notification) think @ThreeUK are also blocking your website

  • Angelaf61260621
Angie💙 (@Angelaf61260621) reported from Redhill, England

@virginmedia That's who I've been talking to. Spoke to Sabine who has fixed it I think for 4th March. 2 others who couldn't help me, of which was rude and uncaring. All told me different things. It appears its an area fault, which the first one didn't confirm

  • tillett81
Noplace4heroes (@tillett81) reported from Edenbridge, England

  • alibeeson
Alison Braganza 🌟💙 (@alibeeson) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia Thanks John. This is really poor service though, when we called your customer services yesterday they said there was no problem & nothing they could do. An estimated fix date? For your deaf and hard of hearing customers, this isn’t good enough I’m afraid @scope @RNID

  • martyncodes
lets be agile (@martyncodes) reported from East Horsley, England

@RomperCrompton @virginmedia The thing is, the phone and broadband use the same physical cabling and network... it’s more a historic pricing model but based upon the shared system

  • StitchMusicGFI
Stitch Music (@StitchMusicGFI) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia We have spoke to everyone… you’re just doing a bad job… you need to sort your staff because they’re all lazy bastards who clearly just can’t be bothered… it’s been 2 months… you credit our account but that doesn’t make up for it

  • deanwoods
Dean Woods (@deanwoods) reported from Horley, England

@virginmedia Hub 3.0. No issues experienced with our wired devices, just impacting WiFi.

  • caville

@virginmedia Since your O2 merger, your website has been absolute dogshite. Can't view bill, can't cancel, nothing loads etc. Nice work!

  • ACLegalServices
    Legal Eagle. (@ACLegalServices) reported

@virginmedia I am seriously thinking of leaving Virgin after 25 years or so as you are about to double my bill to £62.00 a month for speeds of 120mbps. Any recommendations to replace them with a reliable service, that I have had with Virgin. Difficult to talk to them on phone

  • ukaldo2
    aldo (@ukaldo2) reported

@virginmedia I’m completely disgusted. You hounded my 80-year-old mother with repeated calls until she cancelled her existing contract, only to then refuse to provide the new service. Why were no checks done upfront? You’ve now left her with no contract. Completely unacceptable.

  • soapyrct
    Sean Pearson (@soapyrct) reported

@virginmedia @customerchamp1 It is literally the level of service you have provided for many years.

  • whisky_duck
    Danny Whisky (@whisky_duck) reported

@virginmedia I’m currently without broadband in the KT8 area. Status page is showing an issue but with a fix date of 22nd. This can’t be true. I’m a remote worker and unable to do my job without connectivity.

  • CliveDaviesUK
    🇺🇦 Clive Davies #FBPE 🔶🇬🇧🇪🇺🇭🇰 (@CliveDaviesUK) reported

@O2 There’s really no point as nothing ever changes! And when Virgin Media goes down (which happens far too often) I have zero means of communication. The price hike was the last straw really - time to move to another provider.

  • ukaldo2
    aldo (@ukaldo2) reported

@virginmedia The service has now been maintained but on us to ensure that's the case. You shouldn't have had one of your sales reps pressure my mother night after night without checking a service could be provided within your budget

  • Fletchers_Mama
    Karen Rodger (@Fletchers_Mama) reported

@virginmedia It was both. It has happened twice in 2 consecutive mths, both times locked for 2wks. Currently unlocked but never been explained why it how to prevent

  • MakelyStudio
    Ali@Makely (@MakelyStudio) reported

10+ years. 50M+ users. £11M+ revenue impact. Mercedes. Citibank. Sky. Virgin Media. NatWest. Here's what I learned: Bad product flows can cost thousands, or even millions, in lost revenue. Regardless of company size. What kills conversions in big-name products does the same for startups: - Onboarding that loses people in the first 60 secs - Pricing pages that confuse instead of convert - Sign-up flows that cause decision fatigue I’ve seen that when you fix these - you get more from the traffic you already have. Now I build those same systems for funded startups - so they keep the users they've already paid to get.
