    @virginmedia We are happy, now that we're back online, but it was thanks to the two charming and communicative engineers working away in Burgess Hill that saved the day; not just because they'd fixed the issue, but they'd also told me what was going on.

    Top tip for anyone considering @VirginMedia or @vmbusiness for their broadband: do yourself a favour, don't. They have a monopoly on speed, which they feel allows them to treat customers appallingly. Complete outage and no one on their "support" team gives a monkeys. #Awesome.

    Virgin Media is ******* rubbish. Says there isn't a problem but clearly there is coz we've had no Internet all night. Need to talk to them Monday coz this has been going on for ages.

    @virginmedia as holding time is up to one hour why don’t you have a call back service like many others companies. On hold for up to one hour from my mobile to deal with an issue we had for months

    @virginmedia I am bitterly disappointed that you have only been able to provide a broadband service for a week and now there's nothing. My work relies on fast reliable broadband. If this doesn't get fixed this Monday, I'll be seeking another provider.

    @virginmedia I except a service im not asking for anything im not entilted too. Im paying for a service why are you referring me to complaints. Haven't i complained numerous times my tweets are evident enough including hrs on the phone. Your being extremely unreasonable.

    @virginmedia Oh, and online (via my phone) shows no know issues. Only when spending over 45 mins on hold do I find out of the issue, which has now had a day added to it - abysmal

    @virginmedia I KEEP TELLING VIRGIN MEDIA I AM CANCELLING THEIR SERVICE AT THE END OF THE MONTH. I TRIED TO CONTACT THEM THEY SWITCHED ALL CUSTOMER SERVICE & FAULT LINES OFF. IN THE LAST 24 HOURS I HAVE BEEN INUNDATED WITH TEXT MSG'S PLEADING ME TO STAY WITH THEM. I CANCEL MY VIRGIN MEDIA.
