  • GaryAblett3

@virginmedia I’m confused. This isn’t a general concern. This is a complaint and you are legally obliged to handle the complaint or I will simply refer to Ofcom.

  • RoughieSmith
Christine Smith (@RoughieSmith) reported from Redhill, England

Almost 1&1/2 hours holding onto the phone trying to get my internet sorted only to be cut off by them #virginmedia are robbing me not providing the service & I can’t get hold of them, I’m sick of being ripped off

  • TheGearing
Peter Gearing (@TheGearing) reported from Edenbridge, England

@VirginMediaCorp It was, however the way I saw it I had a contract. Obviously it's written in the small print nobody reads that it can be changed at any time. Different story if I was to stop paying it altogether! Just left a very bad taste in the mouth and a mistrust of all things Virgin Media

  • RobertProcter
Rob Procter (@RobertProcter) reported from East Grinstead, England

@virginmedia Thanks for coming back to me. It’s just my internet is going slow again probably for about the tenth time I’ve had to call in the last 12 months. So I wanted them to check to see what’s wrong with it. Many thanks, rob

  • SBranston
Sarah Branston (@SBranston) reported from Redhill, England

@virginmedia Bravo 👏 Extraordinary customer service from the nicest of people in a call centre. Helpful Kind Fair If only @BarclaysUK had matched this. 🤬 Incoherent Contradictory info from websites Two failed live chats Merry Xmas to all teams in call centres.

Usual brilliance from VirginMedia, announce via SMS that they will be working in the area on the 13th and internet may be unstable, it was fine all day. Today however....

  • rafthemaster
Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia @CarolynBaghurst Still same outage in the same town but the outage page shows outage but time for fix keeps moving

  • CharlesB2T
Charles Brittain (@CharlesB2T) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia We are happy, now that we're back online, but it was thanks to the two charming and communicative engineers working away in Burgess Hill that saved the day; not just because they'd fixed the issue, but they'd also told me what was going on.

  • dannyb0y1969
Danny Wootton (@dannyb0y1969) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia woke up to no internet this morning, can't get an engineer slot until SATURDAY morning 😰😰😰 do u think being without the internet for FOUR full days is even remotely acceptable? Utterly shocking service. Disgusting.

  • vishalagga
Vishal Aggarwal 🧢 (@vishalagga) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia @vmbusiness just phoned VM customer support & guys in the background shouted “hey it’s God’s brother calling up in Hindi” that customer was of 90 years of age; I found that remarks so appalling. They must treat their customer with respect as they would expect to be

  • StitchMusicGFI
Stitch Music (@StitchMusicGFI) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia We have spoke to everyone… you’re just doing a bad job… you need to sort your staff because they’re all lazy bastards who clearly just can’t be bothered… it’s been 2 months… you credit our account but that doesn’t make up for it

  • melon_h
Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia But why do we have to keep looking for information. Is there no way of updating the customer directly, it is appalling customer communication. What is the problem? Why just keep putting estimates? If it isn't going to be fixed for 48 hours tell us.

  • melon_h
Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia Yes it says there is a known fault which has been going on since Friday at 7pm. No further explanation and the estimate fix just keeps resetting. It is absolutely unacceptable.

TWITTER HELP PLEASE Want to bin @virginmedia after 20 odd years loyal usage. Ideally just need a broadband service. How do you go about it. Don’t want to be left with no broadband.

  • itsmeinleek
Adam Dolphin (@itsmeinleek) reported from Redhill, England

@virginmedia online to@one of your agents for an hour now, it’s a joke. 6+ minutes to answer any question. I bet if I wanted to upgrade the conversation would be quicker. Shocking service.

  • korondijoco
korondi joco (@korondijoco) reported from Horley, England

@virginmedia Can that diagnose problems with the router?

  • RealAndyCowen
Andy Cowen (@RealAndyCowen) reported from Redhill, England

@virginmedia Last time I called I was told there was a cable problem and the field team would be in touch! The engineer didn’t call at my house and I had to chase... not heard from the field team and here I am chasing again!! I need my installation installed properly!!

  • djtrickster77
Richard 🏁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏳️‍🌈🇬🇧 (@djtrickster77) reported from Redhill, England

Still gonna complain to Virgin Media coz i shouldn't be having an intermittent poor picture upstairs. It's bloody stupid that it fades in and out considering how much we are paying. #ggrrrr

O @vmbusiness how can it be when my order was placed in January my rescheduled install date isn't until the middle of May? I am going to be without connection for over 2 weeks .. the original plan was to have a week cross over of my service - why do i pay for business ?? (1 of 2)

  • cam_bridgewater
    Cambridgewater.x (@cam_bridgewater) reported

@vmbusinesshelp @vmbusiness . Just "upgraded" to Voom 1 gig from 500. Speed slower than previously. Called technical .. they did some fault clearing and told me to reboot router, now I have no internet at all. Technical can't help reverse the error as they don't have full access .. unbelievable. Worst service ever. How can a technician make things worse and then tell me an engineer will be with me Monday ..

  • Neek49
    Monique Bissell (@Neek49) reported

@virginmedia I understand, however your estimates keep extending without any end in sight. We don’t get this service for free. We pay for it. At what point do you let us know that it is broken beyond repair and we should move on. I can handle us breaking up for good, promise

  • mikegormley2003
    Mike (@mikegormley2003) reported

@virginmedia WIFI been down for a few days, engineer comes, says he can’t fix it and leaves. No proof he was here and nothing to say he’ll fix it! Shockingly poor service DD5 1EJ

@virginmedia if you fail to provide a promised refund and fail to deal with a complaint is there any hope that you might engage with me here?

  • shauny67
    Shaun (@shauny67) reported

@virginmedia @paulpresenteruk Never use ring door bell over WiFi why cos only works on 2.4ghz & Virgin like all providers combine 2.4 & 5ghz together would need to split them & set a static IP address for the ring door bell on 2.4ghz. best option is ethernet to a POE switch for data & power

@virginmedia Ok thanks just worried cause like see what I pay in front be ne cause can’t access your online service account . Plus just worried going under contract after 10 + years and we all know virgin widely known for fudging up on things .

  • AlexMacLeod9
    Alex MacLeod 🌻 (@AlexMacLeod9) reported

@spudbishop666 @virginmedia I was a VM customer for 30 odd years but ditched them recently because of price and customer service. Last price hike took me package to £235 a month. Now with EE at £86 a month for similar TV and broadband package but no landline phone which we didn't use anyway.
