    Top tip for anyone considering @VirginMedia or @vmbusiness for their broadband: do yourself a favour, don't. They have a monopoly on speed, which they feel allows them to treat customers appallingly. Complete outage and no one on their "support" team gives a monkeys. #Awesome.

    @virginmedia I am bitterly disappointed that you have only been able to provide a broadband service for a week and now there's nothing. My work relies on fast reliable broadband. If this doesn't get fixed this Monday, I'll be seeking another provider.

    @virginmedia A problem, which I'd like you to address, is that we don't know what the problem is. Last time this happened in October it turned out that the waterworks people had dug through 15 cables and it all had to be reattached.

    @virginmedia I only found this out by talking to the engineers working at getting us all attached again, down our road, but if we don't know this, it looks as though it is your equipment which is at fault. To be fully kept up to speed with real info, will stop nightmare thoughts from growing.

    @virginmedia We are happy, now that we're back online, but it was thanks to the two charming and communicative engineers working away in Burgess Hill that saved the day; not just because they'd fixed the issue, but they'd also told me what was going on.

    Just got an offer letter from Virgin Media for their new M200 broadband and granted 200Mbps sounds great, but an extra £50/mo over my current bill is eye-watering as is the cheek of a £35 “activation fee” - apparently because I’m an existing customer.

    @virginmedia Hours on hold to report faults. Links on website take you round in circles. This is not supposed to be this hard. Paying good money to get a service that you just don't provide and can't get through to resolve these when they go wrong.

    @virginmedia guess what , virgin media custome rep on message chat says a techinical issue a planned outage . actions none taken for a planned outage , none reported to customer for backup plans and where we investigated on the issue with planned outage where virgin M had no clue
