@virginmedia what's the reason for the intermittent broadband service in the Charlton #SE7 area? Any ETA when this will be solved?
-
Mike Fuller (@ninepine) reported from Banstead, England
@virginmedia Callback should have happened days ago. Now the person on 150 says that you failed to complete a process. They then tried to miss-sell me an upgrade to my package. Still not fixed but "should be" in a few hours! I doubt it. Abysmal deceptive service.
-
Mike Fuller (@ninepine) reported from Banstead, England
@virginmedia Have raised a complaint but this is being dealt with by someone only capable of copying and pasting a series of platitudes into a superficial and thoughtless email. No intelligence or attempt to understand and address the issues. Pathetic. Still not fixed.

DianaS (@DianaAlexS) reported from London, England
@virginmedia ** PLEASE NOTE ** We don't have human agents supporting troubleshooting / technical issues over our Messaging Platform. If you wish to speak to someone please contact one of the Team on 150 from your Virgin Media Landline or 0345 454 1111 Well that was "helfpul"

Mary (@SandraS80775853) reported from London, England
@virginmedia @Miss_SKM That is correct. What it does not cover is the persistent loss of service since August!!! #se7. Nor does it cover the absolute woeful customer services, and I use that phrase lightly, which @virginmedia is able to offer.

-
Mark Armstrong (@markatpt) reported from London, England
@virginmedia You didn’t reach out sadly and I’ve now cancelled the installation. Having spoken to someone clearly at home with her baby screaming in the background I have zero confidence that you are able to help us.
-
Mary (@SandraS80775853) reported from London, England
@virginmedia Brilliant get out clause @virginmedia. What you fail to realise is that when your so called service goes down for hours at a time, over the course of time amounts to so, so so much more than 48 hours!! Roll on switching of providers.
-

@IanSlaterPhoto1 @VixThatRuns I have a sizeable Samsung. Ditched Virgin Media, the plan was to have Freeview. The tv doesn’t support Freeview!
-
Mary (@SandraS80775853) reported from London, England
@virginmedia This issue has been going on since August. Loss of power for hours on end is adding up to several days. I am currently on hold which I've been doing for 30 minutes. Shocking @Se7 residents please take note of @virginmedia
-
Connor Dean (@donnorcean) reported from London, England
@virginmedia have had intermittent issues for over a month now, every time I go down the route of reporting the issue it just says wait 24 hours. How can I speak to someone about this as the phone number never gets me to a person?
-
Jason Starman QBE 💙 (@starmanuk) reported from London, England
@virginmedia No issues reported. But 7 houses locally reporting outages on local forums. This is happening frequently.
-
Mark Armstrong (@markatpt) reported from London, England
@virginmedia you have now postponed an installation scheduled for 4th November to Christmas Eve! Can’t see that happening. Maybe someone actually based in the UK might bother to contact me about this? Minded to cancel otherwise. Not acceptable service.
-
Mike Fuller (@ninepine) reported from Banstead, England
@YodelOnline OK have sent DM with details of the *Three* shipments @virginmedia have now sent due to their faulty software or equipment none of which shipments have been provided with a two hour delivery window by the carrier @YodelOnline as promised. Truly awful customer service.

What a frustration it is the degrading service @virginmedia is providing in UK or not proving so to speak. Misselling and not listening to customer needs is only a start. They use to care!!!

Fab809_ (@Fab809_) reported
@virginmedia any way to get in contact with your technical support that doesn't involve the phone since it means waiting for hours? I've been trying since yesterday, I must end my membership as I'm moving home where there's no coverage of yours, this needs to be finalised ASAP
-
Paul Webster (@Goonerwebbo) reported
@virginmedia The retention team reduced it to £94. An increase of £14 per month. £168 a year for a pensioner. Not sure how that’s a deal. They also advised cancel and then take the new customer offer which is £79. Not sure where loyalty comes in
-
JW (@JDub511) reported
@LozzaFox @virginmedia That are the worse. I had to cancel my DD just to get someone to call me back 🙄🙄. Xx
-
Andy Evans (@fade2dust) reported
@virginmedia Tested five minutes later and the speed is down to 14 mbps. It makes streaming video or using Zoom, very unstable.

Paul Webster (@Goonerwebbo) reported
@taraevans @virginmedia @TheSun Hi Tara, we’ve been trying to get a new deal for my father in law who’s an oap. He’s been hit with an increase of £20 per month for his tv broadband deal, living alone on a pension it’s disgusting. I realise it’s small given current issues, but not to him when he’s stuck at home.
-
Jamie Will (@YoungJambo) reported from Poole, England
@virginmedia Also, MOST of your customer service representatives are rude and don't know what they're talking about. Did you know one of them told me to dial 150 for CS, even though I clarified that I'm NOT a Virgin Mobile customer? "Yes, yes this still works for you sir." Nope.
