@virginmedia Thanks, I tried that route and it didn’t work - I’ve called via my mobile but with Covid staff restrictions naturally there’s a long delay. I can patiently wait but wanted to find through Twitter how many others were having the problem again.

Virgin Media is trending and as such it’s a good time to remind people that the only viable speeds should not be provided by the worst broadband company in customer service. Nothing will change if we stay quiet. UK-wide gigabit internet is ESSENTIAL to the growth of the economy.

-
Shaun Flanagan
(@Flansredarmy) reported
@virginmedia No stated time . This is very poor. We have had problems on and off for a year and being told to call a tec team for it to be resolved. I can't except that.

@Killzone_Kid @virginmedia This is true. I was a customer for years and always spoke highly of them. Then it all went pear shaped.
-
ReKoill
(@ReKoill) reported
How can @virginmedia tell me there's nothing wrong with my router, say it's a network issue, have no issues showing on the network status website and tell me to wait 7 days before they'll actually try helping?
-
ReKoill
(@ReKoill) reported
@virginmedia My connection drops every 20 seconds or so but ONLY on the pc connected via ethernet, the WiFi is stable. We phoned for help and they told us it's an area issue and to monitor it for 7 days before they'll do anything. How can a network issue make the ethernet drop but WiFi stable

@virginmedia I’ve been trying to get help with my ‘down’ virgin media for two days and I need it for work. I can’t get hold of anyone but an unhelpful bot. Can anyone help?
-
Michael Wilton
(@Radar_Wilton) reported
@virginmedia I've remained a customer throughout this, giving VM the benefit of the doubt, but there has to be a point where you have to say that enough is enough. If I'm not getting the service being paid for, pretty much top level (and haven't been for a long time), then is it worth it?
-
Rebekah-Jade
(@Rebekah_Coconut) reported
@virginmedia hello our internet is completely down we have gone through all the help online and just says our wires aren’t connected when they are we’ve done it 3 times and nothing is working. Please help
-
Michael Wilton
(@Radar_Wilton) reported
@virginmedia Various things. They've done updates, new equipment, resets ... pretty much everything ... and so many apology bill credits that even they aren't worth the effort any more. Add that to the fact that the only reliable service is the landline, it is no longer worth the price paid
-
Michael Wilton
(@Radar_Wilton) reported
@virginmedia An intermittent area issue that has gone unresolved for around 2 years? I would assume not, otherwise that should have been determined with the reports that have been made over the course of around the first 18 months
-
Cazawaty#Zanumustgo #SKILLEDREBARA
(@cazawaty) reported
@virginmedia 3/3 - Said I had never raised the issues. They did say they could see I regularly we lost connection but no money would be given back. Paying £45 I expect better or money back.3/3
