I swear my virgin media is cursed. Ever since they rang me up and convinced me to change my package to include sky sports it’s been broken every time I’ve wanted to watch a game. 😩 just hung up after waiting on the helpline for over 30 minutes with no response

@MurlocPhil @mainlymono @virginmedia I can cope with the outage (VM mega-fast WiFi still fine so laptop hooked up to TV), it’s the inability to get any sort of response or information from @virginmedia that bugs me. Just an update via tweet, or even just a voice mail message when you ring them, would suffice.

@virginmedia Yep and no issue with the promotion running out - my issue is the way the email is laid out, basically suggesting the deal will carry on the same only to hide the actual cost (that changes a few days later) in the same print, which is incredibly misleading.

@virginmedia When trying it yesterday, during the outage, the checker failed after entering details. Do you not have a general outage map available? There's no issues currently, but two drops in the same day for lengthy periods is concerning for a fibre line.
