Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Twickenham and nearby locations:
  • argen Bruno Belcastro (@argen) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia more than 12 hours without service today. Are there any updates for NW3?

  • ChristianRad Christian Radnedge (@ChristianRad) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia both broadband and TV down in nw3 most of the day now - I need both for work...

  • craigr98_2016 Craig R 🇹🇩🌹 (@craigr98_2016) reported from Hillingdon, England

@virginmedia I made a formal complaint against your company and was told 28 days I’d get a response - it’s been longer than that, what can we do to get my complaint moving?

  • LouiseHatch1 Louise Hatch 🦋 (@LouiseHatch1) reported from London, England

Hi @virginmedia I wonder if you can help me? I'm looking to access the subtitles on a movie I have just paid to download...that essential service doesn't seem to be available? Thank you 🦋 #Deaf #deaf #HearingLoss

  • DavidWheater David “Still Not the Footballer” Wheater (@DavidWheater) reported from Richmond, England

3 different @premierinn hotels this week and 6 in the last 3 weeks and I can honestly say that your Wi-Fi is absolutely atrocious. It’s always been bad, but some how it’s now even worse. It’s time to ditch @virginmedia and get a decent Internet supplier.

  • ACMru_ Akshay (@ACMru_) reported from City of London, England

@virginmedia That’s absolutely fine, but again like mentioned before. I should not be receiving contrasting information from your employees. I can understand one isolated incident but having 2 incidents for the same issue highlights a form of incompetence somewhere

  • ACMru_ Akshay (@ACMru_) reported from City of London, England

@virginmedia I don’t mind speaking to technical support and them trying to troubleshoot, but what I absolutely hated was being told contrasting information by all the different staff members in VM

  • ACMru_ Akshay (@ACMru_) reported from City of London, England

@virginmedia And then told that they couldn’t do that either, all whilst being very rude on the phone for an issue with the equipment which frankly I believe is not an acceptable level of service ( I don’t expect 100% reliability - but something better than no service would be nice!)

  • ACMru_ Akshay (@ACMru_) reported from City of London, England

@virginmedia One of your agents said they would send across a WiFi pod (which never happened) and then we were informed that he didn’t have the ability to send them after a further call 1 month later. We were also advised they would send us a hub 4 to try and get rid of the existing hub 3

  • PhilPhenom Phil Lindsay (@PhilPhenom) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

@virginmedia network down in KT5 area? TV been offline all morning, just came back for a brief second but signal gone again. Is there a fault?

  • PhilPhenom Phil Lindsay (@PhilPhenom) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

@virginmedia my entire network has died. I got no internet or tv service and have been told that you can only get an engineer out to me on Thursday...2 DAYS!!!! I work from home and need internet access otherwise I cant do anything. The TIVO box wont start up

  • PhilPhenom Phil Lindsay (@PhilPhenom) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

    @virginmedia @NeilWBallingall HELP!!!!!!!!!

  • PhilPhenom Phil Lindsay (@PhilPhenom) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

@virginmedia my network has gone down. No tv or internet, meaning I cant work from home or watch TV. I cant talk to anybody about fixing the issue. My postcode is KT5 9NP HELP!!!!!!!

  • hdoddles Hannah Dodd (@hdoddles) reported from Merton, England

@virginmedia It’s Hannah. I’ve been a customer with Virgin since 2019. I don’t need to check the postcode checker again, I want to know why your still advertising our post code as available for service on price comparison sites? When you clearly don’t provide to that area?

  • andyyoung2 Andyy 🇪🇺 (@andyyoung2) reported from Wandsworth, England

Hi @virginmedia - can you tell me why you’re advertising on GB News platform of hate please? If you continue I’ll need to cancel my contract. Thanks.

  • derrickca Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia Over a week to fix it seems ridiculous

  • derrickca Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia We can’t go for a week without this. Disabled person heavily reliant. Home security compromised. Not acceptable. Nobody else has the problem. This complaint is going to escalate

  • derrickca Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia Just called. Message says there are intermittent problems in the area. Then back to main menu on the phone says “ there are no problems in the area goodbye “. Not impressed

  • derrickca Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia There are no issues in my area supposedly. So why I’m I told that there are issues when I call. Nobody else around has a problem. My account says everything is working. Who’s telling the truth? Feeling very vulnerable here

  • derrickca Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia I’ve hammered my mobile data since the internet has been down it’s costing me a fortune. I’m not even sure that the site will benefit me.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
  • DelHillan Del Hillan (@DelHillan) reported

@virginmedia Well you won't know until you send someone out to look at it, your refusal to do this is outrageous, 2 weeks to send someone out to even look at an issue, you are allowing a vulnerable pensioner to be alone without his services, why is absolutely no one in your company concerned?

  • parso2j james parsons (@parso2j) reported

@virginmedia when are you going to sort this internet issue out???? Bloody joke!!! What would happen if I had issues paying your bills?

  • envyas94 N (@envyas94) reported

@virginmedia She can’t call as she doesn’t speak much English, I called yesterday and was told it’s a area issue AGAIN. Can you please confirm this is true?

  • _simon_taft SimonT (@_simon_taft) reported

@virginmedia I need help! Moved out my home on 21st May. Received a txt from VM engineer on 24th May (3 days later) saying would pick up router on 9th July from new address. I agreed. Last week received txt saying will be charged on 21st June if equipment isn’t returned by then

  • lainey37972343 lainey (@lainey37972343) reported

@virginmedia Hi thanks for replying. I’ve had to go on 4g to test it’s saying no issues but when I try to test the devices it comes up showing technical error.

@virginmedia is this phone number one of yours? 01489 485629. Claimed to be from VM and wanted us to change settings on the router. Called my husband an idiot when he wouldn’t do it. Guessing that’s not you. If it is, feel free to sack the guy.

@_inspir3d @virginmedia Take your business somewhere else, these guys are shills. Sick of paying thru the nose for a shoddy service. Christ, even Talk Talk have to be better than this.

  • BenMason232 Ben Mason (@BenMason232) reported

I beg you NEVER to sign up to @Virgin @virginmedia 10 yrs of service and now THEY CANNOT PROVIDE THAT SERVICE where we are moving to. Their answer to that? £250 cancellation charge. Disgusting. Please like/share this to save others money #theives #Disgraceful #virginmediadown

  • littlespottydog 🍭 Lolly Golightly #GTTO🟥🟨#YesCymru (@littlespottydog) reported

@traceymcarroll @virginmedia This has also happened in my area. Now 2nd day w/out broadband/TV whilst happily taking £50+ from my account. These technical errors are a regular occurrence #virginmediadown
