  @virginmedia I've sent private messages and they just ask me to call VM and get an engineer in. The engineer's conclusion seems to be that it's not worth the effort to extend the network by 10 metres, via a footpath which I own. And that's bang in the centre of a village right outside London.

  @virginmedia OK Thanks. A technician will be visiting us tomorrow, though I suspect that the fault is in your exchange switch. My point is that you should keep repairs and sales separate. A customer with a serious phone problem is unlikely to buy extra services at that time.

  @andyburnham It is the truth. Virgin subscription from £85 to £254 a month because contract expired and they’ll never contact you. This is affecting millions of people @virginmedia. He is attending to the truth about what is affecting people.
