@virginmedia your system says it can’t see any fault on my services but that it can’t run a test on them. Something is wrong clearly, please offer me some support so I can begin my working day at some point.

  • SustyPhilC
Phil ******* (@SustyPhilC) reported from Merton, England

@virginmedia any idea what’s going on with the network please? Can you at least make a statement? It’s been down since around 2am or thereabouts!

  • ninepine
Mike Fuller (@ninepine) reported from Banstead, England

@virginmedia Have raised a complaint but this is being dealt with by someone only capable of copying and pasting a series of platitudes into a superficial and thoughtless email. No intelligence or attempt to understand and address the issues. Pathetic. Still not fixed.

  • Deano1969
Deano (@Deano1969) reported from Wandsworth, England

@virginmedia So. Would you like me to provide details of the complaint? My reference number maybe? Somewhere to direct message? Or do I just waste a huge amount of time hanging on the line to get back to where I started?

  • andrewlwood
Andrew Wood (@andrewlwood) reported from Hounslow, England

@virginmedia another outage in Tw8. This has been a regular problem over the last three weeks. It’s messing with my business and now my family movie night. Are you aware, and when will it be sorted?

@virginmedia Thank you. It’s so stressful when working from home and only being able to use my mobile phone to do anything! Netflix now finally working. What was the problem?

  • aaronuart
    R. Aaron (@aaronuart) reported from Merton, England

@virginmedia I rebooted, called the number, it says there is a known issue in my area and engineers are working on it. Does this take 5 days to fix? I try the status online and it tells me everything is fine but it isn’t. Is there anyone looking at this. I’ve never had an issue last this long

  • Boubs1985
Kerry Vaughan (@Boubs1985) reported from Addington, England

Aint it funny how my Internet was good as gold until @virginmedia tried to convince me to upgrade. Now its absolutely terrible 🙄

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • je_durrant
    James Durrant (@je_durrant) reported

@virginmedia I did that earlier today and your colleague confirmed nothing can be done until 17th August, over a month since this started. Now you’re saying it’s £1660 to exit a service I can’t even use. “Taking responsibility” and “monitoring” doesn’t solve my problem

  • srobinson2709
    Steven Robinson (@srobinson2709) reported

@DeviateDefiant @virginmedia @MoneySupermkt I moved to alt net, **** the main companies. Been with Quickline 6 months, during initial setup there were some speed drops, contacted support was fixed next day. Other than that no issues so far.

  • Edeaulx
    Adrian Weale (@Edeaulx) reported

Hey @VirginMedia, does an incomprehensible email and one desultory telephone call when I wasn't at home and therefore not in a position to answer the 'security' questions constitute your only effort to resolve my complaint reference C-1907261424?

  • TJAYIREL
    G IREL (@TJAYIREL) reported

@virginmedia @KatReynolds5 hi any problems in the dublin area? internet went down at some point in the last hour.

  • je_durrant
    James Durrant (@je_durrant) reported

I’ve had it with @virginmedia No service since 10 Jul and it won’t be fixed until 17 Aug. They can’t give me a 5G modem despite being joined with O2 and say I should be happy with the £10 p/d Ofcom comp; that doesn’t help me do work. £800 to cancel my contract, it’s a racket

  • Tory_Brexit69
    (((Evs))) (@Tory_Brexit69) reported

@virginmedia broadband is not working in Greater Manchester area. Never buy broadband from Virgin Media. Top tip. 👍

  • TheWho87
    TheWho87 (@TheWho87) reported

@virginmedia Why? The fact that the internet was working with a VPN meant it wasn't an issue on my end, it was an issue on your end, plus it's working now, so you seem to have fixed the issue already.

  • chrislove_89
    Chris Love (@chrislove_89) reported

@virginmedia 4x since I’ve moved across from BT, the service has been completely down in my area, this in space of just a few months. This has affected exam revision, kids bedtime routines, among other things. Terrible, pathetic service and can’t wait until my contract expires!

  • daveyhub
    Daveyhub 🎧 (@daveyhub) reported
