    30 minutes on hold to @virginmedia only to be told that we still won’t have any internet til at least Tuesday as they can’t get a router to me before then. If I ordered it myself on Amazon I could get one tonight......pathetic customer service

    @virginmedia We’ve had no broadband for more than a week, there won’t be any for at least another week. The whole street is down, the whole street is looking at leaving.

    @mediaczar @virginmedia None of the reviews include reliability, because that’s the most difficult thing to measure from outside and no one releases their figures. It’s the worst thing that’s ever happened in the world. Ever.

    So @virginmedia have refused to get an engineer to me today to fix their problem outside my house, which has cut out my internet and TV services. I have not got many followers but if anyone can retweet this example of disgraceful service I would be grateful.

    Given how badly BT’s share price has fared over the last few years, this might not be too unrealistic. There doesn’t seem to be much money in fixed telecoms at the moment. We@could have a Network Rail of broadband. Except there is also the Virgin Media fibre network.

    @virginmedia my internet and TV are down and seems like a supply or hub problem. Just called your call centre for help and I appreciate they have a script to follow but no help whatsoever. Earliest they could offer an engineer was tomorrow evening when we are not in!

    @virginmedia Well I am not being patient and will be taking my custom elsewhere. This is your issue outside of my house and I am not getting the service I am paying for so will look elsewhere for someone who can provide a proper service!

    @virginmedia The ironic thing is it took until I had to leave where I actually spoke to someone English and could I understand my frustrations over the appalling service I’ve had for over 6 months, if I had been given this service then perhaps I wouldn’t have felt the need to leave

    @LauraKnight2010 @virginmedia This is happening to hundreds of people, just spent an hour on the phone to sky and this issue is swamping their technical team. I suspect a wonky firmware update at 3am is to blame VM!

    @virginmedia Hi. I've had many work orders raised . Which are all supposed to be fixed and resolved . I've even got complaints open. I did a manufacturer reset on my V6 box 2 week ago. So my hard drive is pretty much empty now . I can see that your engineers have tried to fix the issue .
