    @virginmedia no broadband, WiFi or TV services in the SE7 area until 5pm today is completely unacceptable for people working from home. Engineering faults should not be happening during the day. £8 compensation is absolute peanuts. Very poor indeed.

    @Ofcom hi, @virginmedia is refusing to help us deal with constant scam calls on a new number after our old one was bombarded with them too. It would seem that that somehow scammers have got hold of some of their numbers. How do we deal with this if Virgin won’t?

    @virginmedia Your online status reports no faults but as I said in the thread, I have called your support centre at least 10 times & they confirm there is a fault which has been the case since the 2nd of March. I am assured, every time I call, that it will be fixed within 7 days. It never is

    @tonydixon59 @virginmedia Thanks for your reply. No improvement - I have rebooted the box and checked all connections. Seems to have coincided with the recent wet weather, and could the fact that another customer in TW2 is having similar issues suggest water in the works?

    @virginmedia Out of nowhere service stops. Everything is plugged in correctly. Restart. Nothing works. Give it a few hours and miraculously starts working again. About once a week now.

    More spam scam calls claiming to be from @virginmedia today. I’ve put in a complaint but not hopeful as they seem to want to blame anyone but the apparent leak of numbers to scammers. Offcom or somewhere higher next if we don’t get this sorted. Blog post tomorrow. I’m pissed off.

    @virginmedia Yes, I have done everything its suggested. It says the connection it's ok, but i cannot have a proper vc since the very beginning after installation. I had virgin broadband for two years in another home and it was fantastic but this time it's not working. Please help.

    @virginmedia you sold me a complete TV and broadband package. You turned up last saturday and had no TV box's so just installed the broadband. The broadband doesnt work, the TV hasnt turned up and no-one answers the phone - 5hrs waiting. Truly the worst customer Exp EVER!

    @virginmedia No, but when I have an engineer booked, you find a fault in the area, cancel my engineer, fix the issue, only for it to go down again a few days later. Its been happening for weeks now and affecting my partner being able to work.

    @virginmedia Checked, no local issues, done the turn off/ turn on, done the reset on the router already, router when powered up is not visible on a WiFi search. Rather hoping you can arrange a call back as I’m sure you appreciate being cut off after waiting an hour not a positive feeling.
