Why don’t companies offer deals for long standing customers not just new? Been with @virginmedia for 25+ years, started back when it was Telewest; want to downgrade, deal I am looking at is £37 for new customers, same package for me is £69. Where is customer loyalty rewarded?

@virginmedia thank you for sending out an engineer after the previous two couldn't fix our ongoing issue, but it would've been nice to have gotten a text or more than one call from an unknown number to confirm whether or not they are actually coming x

@virginmedia Nothing other than to telephone again. We do now have an appointment so we will see if it gets fixed. Two of us working from home in zoom-heavy roles has been very difficult. And the only action we have got has been via ombudsman not your customer services.

@virginmedia hi is there a problem in TW10? I've checked the status page but it says no problems (tho it never says there are problems unless it's a national outage). TV has interference and broadband keeps dropping. I've done all the reboot procedures as usual.

@virginmedia Yes, down for two days and when i called yesterday they said it was gonna be fixed today and it is not. I work from home. I have already spent my @EE mobile iNet and I'm buying @bt_uk passes. How can I cancel the service and move to other provider?

Working from home is super fun when Virgin Media’s internet in south east London goes down completely for the entire morning and you have to use the hotspot on your phone to try and get any work done 😬

@virginmedia But it's meant to be in modem mode. I have it plugged into my own wi-fi mesh so I can access internet across the flat. I've plugged things directly into the eth port on it and still get choppy internet. Also the TV problem is still a problem

@virginmedia It's a billing issue. TLDR is; I was recommended to set up a new account with yourselves and the old one would be automatically terminated. That hasn't happened and now i'm asked to pay a £280 disconnection charge on original account. New account install is in a couple of weeks.
