@virginmedia Good morning. Yes it’s an ongoing problem that isn’t going to go away on its own, it needs resolving please. I see that there is now a Hub 4 available, does that emit a stronger WiFi signal? And what about Booster Pods? I don’t live it a mansion, it’s just a normal 3 bed semi.

@virginmedia 1h 15 jon the phone just to try to get my TV service up and running and now being told no service until the end of the month -computer says no to getting an engineer around unless your broadband is not working either -surely a better way #rubbishcustomerservice

@virginmedia Out of nowhere service stops. Everything is plugged in correctly. Restart. Nothing works. Give it a few hours and miraculously starts working again. About once a week now.

@virginmedia Yes I’ve done all that and it said the signal was weak. Pressed the button to optimise the WiFi or router or whatever it is and that didn’t work. Is it not the job of the router to emit a strong WiFi signal? All the devices trying to connect are modern and up to date.

@virginmedia I did all that yesterday. On the laptop that recorded a speed of 1.28mbps, when I put the Ethernet cable in, it was 254.99mbps. On the Apple TV, it went from 1.06 to 651. It’s not just these devices, these are the worst examples

@virginmedia no broadband, WiFi or TV services in the SE7 area until 5pm today is completely unacceptable for people working from home. Engineering faults should not be happening during the day. £8 compensation is absolute peanuts. Very poor indeed.

@virginmedia Apparently a local fault but my signal test says no issue -still not resolved and still no TV -follow up call that was promised within 3 days hasn’t materialised (Day 6 and counting)

@virginmedia I’m on M600 Fibre Broadband. On my account it says ‘our broadband doesn’t get quicker than this. You’re on our top tier broadband!’ If I got a Hub 4 and 1gb broadband, would that guarantee a stronger and faster WiFi network?

More spam scam calls claiming to be from @virginmedia today. I’ve put in a complaint but not hopeful as they seem to want to blame anyone but the apparent leak of numbers to scammers. Offcom or somewhere higher next if we don’t get this sorted. Blog post tomorrow. I’m pissed off.

@Ofcom hi, @virginmedia is refusing to help us deal with constant scam calls on a new number after our old one was bombarded with them too. It would seem that that somehow scammers have got hold of some of their numbers. How do we deal with this if Virgin won’t?

@virginmedia Worst part of it @virginmedia is the way your customer service team speaks to customers. Quite appalling and in my experience always approached on basis that the customer is wrong. It consistently bad - to be told you don’t send texts when I clearly had two texts quite insulting!

@virginmedia You're talking about "paying" the bills. That's not the problem. As I said, the bill needs to have the company name on there. BT can do that no problem. So I either stay with VM and pay my own bills, or move to BT and have bills paid by the company. No choice really!

@virginmedia The same issues I keep calling for the past year or so. When I'm gaming at night,10pm onwards, using the ethernet, not wireless, I usually get disconnected from the Internet and can not game. Very annoying. Noticed that it also disconnects my phone from the wireless network.
