@martynenglish2 @virginmedia They have a catastrophic reputation around here ... speeds great in theory but always down, slow and out of order as I see from local shops.

  • MarkAlexKeller
Mark A. Keller (@MarkAlexKeller) reported from Hillingdon, England

@ThreeUKSupport So does it only work when Three Wi-Fi is available? On Virgin Media it always asks me to login then says it should have logged me in automatically.

  • UF1902
    Umar 馬 ➡️ 🇨🇭 (@UF1902) reported from Hounslow, England

@PandemicEU @virginmedia It's been happening for weeks. All I get when I call customer service are excuses.

  • judge_ravinder
Ravinder Judge (@judge_ravinder) reported from Hounslow, England

@virginmedia surprise surprise once again the connection is lost between the hub and box, only lasted a day. There are no words for the service you are providing and lack of resolution

  • itsnotO56763609
itsnotOK (@itsnotO56763609) reported from Spelthorne District, England

@virginmedia Why do you make it impossible to downgrade packages? Choosing "change package" only allowed was upgrade. Talk to customer service, they say they're only allowed to upgrade. Is the only possible to reduce package by cancelling?

  • Flozephine
Flo (@Flozephine) reported from Bracknell, England

@virginmedia no broadband in RG12 for over an hour - can’t report on your service status page as it appears down? Any update gratefully received 🙏🏻

  • jtdavies
John T Davies 💙🇺🇦💛 (@jtdavies) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia We had issues last month, a nice engineer came (Mohamed) and said it was a local problem. I reported it on the phone again on Tuesday (Aqeelah), she said there are local problems (again). I fed up wit this, it’s been a week of impossible internet, day and night!

  • BarbaraMolony
Barbara Molony-Oates 💙 She/Her (@BarbaraMolony) reported from West Molesey, England

@virginmedia My problem is that the fix time is 24 hours! That’s really not ok

  • fadermonkeyking
Jeff Brown (@fadermonkeyking) reported from Richmond, England

@virginmedia I’m trying to cancel an engineer appt next week. Followed online instructions but only option I get is to re-book for a different time. No option to cancel. And I don’t have time to wait for a response from you if I phone! Help!

  • yessibelloperez
Yessi Bello-Perez (@yessibelloperez) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia Thanks, John. No they didn’t confirm. All they said was that the issue *might* be fixed by August 2nd, which as you can imagine is far from ideal. Meanwhile, I’m also being charged a full month despite not having a reliable connection for over a week.

  • wowbaggerish
(An)TonyM 🇺🇦 (@wowbaggerish) reported from Epsom and Ewell District, England

@virginmedia Yes, apparently you have an engineer working on it. If hoping the 20 hour estimated fix time is overly pessimistic!

  • tobygilles
    🎤Toby Gilles🎤 (@tobygilles) reported from Hounslow, England

Has anyone with @virginmedia got the @SkySports red button working? I genuinely think it’s never worked for me and I’ve had Virgin for about 5 years now. I just wanna watch #Watfordfc. I’m paying enough, why do I not get the service?

  • BarbaraMolony
Barbara Molony-Oates 💙 She/Her (@BarbaraMolony) reported from West Molesey, England

@AnishModgil @virginmedia In my experience No. and when I asked for money back last time they told me there had to be a complete service loss for a certain number of days!!!! Maybe time to contact the #Ombudsman

  • thefitebegins
jrd1982 (@thefitebegins) reported from Hillingdon, England

@virginmedia Yet again Virgin Media is down and yes I have tried the checker. Why are services with VM constantly going down across the UK?

  • formerprisoner_
    Reformed Prisoner (@formerprisoner_) reported

. @virginmedia are the most useless, care-less, let down of a company in existence. If you are considering going with them for broadband. Please don’t. Their technicians do half a job, cancel a thousand times and their customer support is outsourced to some foreign country.

  • pokerchamp_Cbbo
    Cububo (@pokerchamp_Cbbo) reported

@koenjideck Only worked well for me in recent years, but it gave me a decade of packet loss and outages before then 😵‍💫 I remember playing games with people on my street at uni, and half the people would disconnect in a lobby whenever Virgin Media had an outage 🥀

  • WalthamstowLife
    Walthamstow Life (@WalthamstowLife) reported

@virginmedia Why are internet services down AGAIN in #E17? Your service is utter rubbish!

  • jemski7
    Jemski (@jemski7) reported

@virginmedia Not in the slightest. I’ve had many many conversations with your representitives and have been dumbfounded by the treatment you’ve given a customer of 25 years so I’m done. Your customers are just numbers to you.

  • AlloquiStrix
    Alloqui Strix (@AlloquiStrix) reported

@virginmedia an outage in my area since Tuesday. There is supposed to be a means to register for compensation for loss of service, but the website doesn't contain any buttons to do so - are you making it difficult on purpose noting "if you do not register you don't qualify"?
