Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Staines and nearby locations:

  • Nicolanoodle Nicola Fish (@Nicolanoodle) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

@virginmedia I totally agree. Sadly it doesn’t seem that easy. I repeated at least 5 times ‘I’d just want to cancel my account’ to no avail.

  • gorgeousuk anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England

@foxinthebox2010 @virginmedia It was a customer insight survey sent to me by email. Gives you no chance to really voice your opinion as it’s just pushing the new box.

  • chrisTstraker Chris Straker (@chrisTstraker) reported from Epsom and Ewell District, England

@virginmedia Please could someone let me know how to deal with issues, regarding mobile Wi-fi hotpspots and voicemail from abroad. Tried a number of times and yet to have any conversation, that didn’t require me repeating myself two or three times !!

  • aamer74 aamer habib (@aamer74) reported from Maidenhead, England

It’s so annoying how broadband cos try 2 screw existing customers. They suck u in with an offer better than their competitors, then each yr, they increase the price, but offers small reduction if you u stay with reduced service #VirginMedia

  • turboeddie08 Eddie Seber (@turboeddie08) reported from London, England

  • gorgeousuk anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England

@foxinthebox2010 @virginmedia You do have a point @foxinthebox2010 though because they were asking if customers would be willing to pay £20 one off fee, then £15, £10, £5...which implies they could afford to upgrade for free but just want to squeeze more money of out their customers. We’ve had awful service

  • EamonnCurran2 Eamonn Curran (@EamonnCurran2) reported from Ealing, England

Are they F###ing serious. @virginmedia Twitter is only about publicity never actually doing anything to resolve the issues .PS 2 weeks later and the is is still open.that engineer must have a really long drive !!!@

  • gorgeousuk anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England

@foxinthebox2010 @virginmedia The £20, £15, £10 down to £5 smacked of desperation really! Just give me the bloody box. We’ve been with you long enough!!!!!

  • martyncodes lets be agile (@martyncodes) reported from East Horsley, England

@RomperCrompton @virginmedia The thing is, the phone and broadband use the same physical cabling and network... it’s more a historic pricing model but based upon the shared system

  • Jimbwlah James Milward (@Jimbwlah) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia I don’t understand how you can get away with 10%+ yearly bill increase with no service improvement. I’ve been with you for 15 years and enough is enough, I’m switching. No other company does this - I’m speaking to the communication ombudsman, it needs investigation

  • ukwip Anthony Cohen (@ukwip) reported from London, England

  • Margare7a Margareta Dovgal (@Margare7a) reported from Hammersmith, England

Hey @virginmedia - I was charged £15 on July 19 for Virgin Media WiFi on the London Underground. But the pass isn't showing on my account. I'm not a Virgin customer, so go in circles on the menu when I call customer service. Please help!

@SenseMakesNone @howdjo @virginmedia I am not complaining to the customer service, but I am complaining to VM senior position. The place I work have night shift to take care of network issue like this. And we have colleague in Asia branch to help out as well. VM senior should have setup something like this

@virginmedia This is just poor service. Looks like Virgin group as a whole is having issues. Virgin Orbiter went bankrupt and now looks like Virgin Media is also in trouble.

  • SlimNasty2013 Slim Gaming (@SlimNasty2013) reported

@SlowPsycho @Misterjunkz @virginmedia It wouldn't surprise me if they intend to do that down here, but if I could only teach their resolutions team how to read english, I could get my termination through and not need to consider sueing their arses over their incompetence...

  • BarrattDarren Darren Barratt #FBPE (@BarrattDarren) reported

@tom_mellor1991 @SenseMakesNone @virginmedia They do. They provide network connectivity for way more than just broadband and home TV……

  • ForestKingInsol ForestKing Insolvency Group (@ForestKingInsol) reported

    @virginmedia Never an issue with @bt_uk 👍🏼

  • BadBuddie Keith Galbraith (@BadBuddie) reported

@virginmedia Shame you can't even be bothered to update your status page, when its even up when there is an outage that is.

  • darkkai3 Darkkai3 (@darkkai3) reported

@SenseMakesNone @virginmedia Damn. Thinking back to my time working in service, I'd have killed for a button that could tell people where the milk is, or, in fact, no, it's not our fault the beach is closed...
