  • Drew_Kerr Drew (@Drew_Kerr) reported from Lambeth, England

Great. Bank holiday binge watch plan ruined by @virginmedia being down in SW8 AGAIN. Might be finally time to move from them. Speedy broadband isn’t speedy broadband when it doesn’t bloody work.

  • sujii_shah Sujal Shah (@sujii_shah) reported from Kensington, England

First time I’ve ever finished my data on my phone because I had to keep tethering internet at home because @virginmedia can’t be bothered to fix the internet at my house. Mum, dad if I die this weekend and can’t contact you, you can blame @virginmedia 😡

  • jelenaculum Jelena Culum (@jelenaculum) reported from Camden Town, England

@withnail69 @virginmedia Probably not and will fix it at some point next week

  • johngreenn John Green (@johngreenn) reported from Lambeth, England

  • daphnemotivates Daphne Clifton (@daphnemotivates) reported from London, England

@virginmedia Again, hoops to go through to log a complaint. Why can’t YOU log it on my behalf. It’s called customer service. Sorry, @virginmedia is generally not fit for purpose when it comes to customer care. I’m sure your hands are tied by a ridiculous, uncaring system

  • arigork Ari Gork (@arigork) reported from Camden Town, England

Shame poor @virginmedia call centre agents- must be bombarded now with callers about their service not working. Seems like most of northern London has been disconnected. Good luck engineers. #VirginMedia #Down #NW3 #DialupIsTheNewBlack #TwiddlingThumbs

  • stevebuzzpearce Steve 'Buzz' Pearce (@stevebuzzpearce) reported from Camden Town, England

@GavinWilkie @beeshi @virginmedia Same. @virginmedia I’m switching because of your crazy high pricing and a year of promises to fix but only if I pay more. 200mb promise, never ever got higher than 50mb, peak times are dismal at 0.5mb. Bye.

  • daphnemotivates Daphne Clifton (@daphnemotivates) reported from London, England

@virginmedia Thanks. It’s only been down this morning. I’m advised it’ll be back by 4pm. So I lose one day of study/work and have no recompense because it isn’t 2 days. I can’t wait to leave Virgin Media but feel trapped. Not a good place to be.

  • willjennings80 will jennings (@willjennings80) reported from Lambeth, England

@virginmedia @iamchrisowen Some warning would have been nice, you should have told SW9 customers you intended to remove service this weekend, I could've made other plans for my deadline.

  • cholten99 David Durant (@cholten99) reported from London, England

The page on @virginmedia that should show me why my broadband is down - is also down...

  • daphnemotivates Daphne Clifton (@daphnemotivates) reported from London, England

@virginmedia As I said, I’ve done the pin reset thing as Ben suggested. I’m fed up trying to fix something that wasn’t my fault. And I won’t get any recompense. I feel trapped by @virginmedia Can’t wait to escape

  • RicBebop Riccardo Servini (@RicBebop) reported from Lambeth, England

@mrbonturcode @virginmedia That whole entire service is bullshit.

  • JamieSenitt Jewmie (@JamieSenitt) reported from Richmond, England

Hi @virginmedia, one of your utility boxes on Oxford Road #teddington (TW11) has been knocked over and has metal and wires exposed. Please send someone to fix ASAP. Have informed local council’s Highways team too.

  • pantsant ANT (@pantsant) reported from Camden Town, England

COMPLETE BLACKOUT OF LANDLINE, TV AND INTERNET CHEERS @virginmedia FOR YOUR SUPERFAST SERVICE, MAYBE TRY SPENDING LESS ON SHITTY ADVERTS THAN CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • pantsant ANT (@pantsant) reported from Camden Town, England

Hopefully my sarcasms and outrage will be enough to repower @virginmedia, well at the very least it will do a damn site better than them, welcome to Intelligent Wi-fi #virginmedia

  • daphnemotivates Daphne Clifton (@daphnemotivates) reported from London, England

No internet this morning @virginmedia , who kindly say I only get a refund on this service if it’s down for TWO DAYS! How on earth do they get away with such shabby service. Please tell me if I’m running my business that shabbily #unhappybusinessperformancoachtoday!

  • Drew_Kerr Drew (@Drew_Kerr) reported from Lambeth, England

@virginmedia Have signed for alerts, no updates or reasons sent to me. I can see frlma quick search it’s London wide. Please tell me what the issue is.

  • charlie_miller Charlie Miller (@charlie_miller) reported from Lambeth, England

@virginmedia @jwsal Yeah, I’m in Brixton too and there are faults reported in our area. The estimated fix time keeps getting pushed further and further back, and new faults are being flagged. So it’s getting worse, rather than better. Been like this since last night. Very frustrating.

  • DepravedAcid Depraved Acid (@DepravedAcid) reported from Hounslow, England

@vmbusiness Not good guys. Three outages this week. Poor txt comms. Getting worried.

  • Rosamojo Maria Rosamojo (@Rosamojo) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia My virgin internet down completely since Friday and was told on the phone that it won’t be back till the 9th May! Yet when I check your website it sometimes says there are no problems. Obviously there are. You should be honest and report each area and give reasonable fix times.

  • GuyFarrer Guythetrucker (@GuyFarrer) reported

@virginmedia I wonder if someone could help me I’ve being trying to speak to someone for 3 days and keep getting cut off before I actually get through to speak to a real person.

  • dgzipit David Gould (@dgzipit) reported

Can @NetflixUK please fix their bug that identified @virginmedia WiFi routers as VPNs and then blocks the IP address. Sounds like a failed IT implementation that needs to be rolled back until it's professionally tested.

  • cottonsox34 Gary Cotton (@cottonsox34) reported

@virginmedia I was also told the problem has been going on I’m area for the last few months. I have a hub three and you are currently rolling out the hub 5, I asked for one to be sent to me and this was refused point blank as you are not doing this in my area at the moment

  • cottonsox34 Gary Cotton (@cottonsox34) reported

@virginmedia I am right now sat 10 ft away from my router with no internet signal on 3 separate devices. My son is plugged into the router via Lan and that is working.

  • debstergr Debs (@debstergr) reported

@virginmedia your customer service is shocking. Spent days trying to get through to get contract renegotiated as you wanted to increase it by £40 a month. Renegotiated price & you’ve set it up £10 more a month than agreed. Now have the nightmare of trying to contact you again!!

  • ChrisCovill Chris Covill (@ChrisCovill) reported

@virginmedia I was directed to your online live chat service to cancel, however I have now been waiting for 21 hours and am no further forward. I was promised a free booster to resolve my broadband issues as a good faith gesture, which I was then charged for anyway. That was the last straw.

  • t2nafish77 Charlie Parkes (@t2nafish77) reported

@virginmedia You lot are a constant pain in my arse. I can’t wait till March when I can end my contract with you! Anybody reading this check out Sky Glass! Better than this ****!

  • fcowsndrooldogs Philip Morgan (@fcowsndrooldogs) reported

@virginmedia I've now been cut off twice from calling customer service. Im trying to cancel my service before the contract rolls over to monthly today. Can someone help?

  • settolove86 M 💙 (@settolove86) reported

@virginmedia I honestly very much doubt that. They identified the problem long ago

  • lauren_216x Lauren (@lauren_216x) reported

@virginmedia I can log into the app fine but can't redeem the offer as it says I need to be an o2 customer
