@virginmedia It was media. The call was finally answered after around 40 minutes. I wouldn’t mind if this was an isolated issue but I’ve had a number of problems with virgin media customer service (by phone) and looking online it seems that many other customers have experienced the same.

@virginmedia I phoned up today to find out why I was paying £50 a month for internet when a new customer pays £35. I was basically told to accept it so I think I’ll look at moving to @SkyUK for £27 a month.

@virginmedia very irritating. Sky sports golf is dead on Virgin 515:ladies open appears to be on sky mis 520. Tried to phone vurgin. Held for 16 minutes then gave up. Terrible.

@virginmedia It’s working now, the point is that it wasn’t working when the women’s open was on yesterday with no warning or redirection. I tried to get help and was waiting 18 mins (timed). And by the way not the first time virgin randomly change the description or the channel.

@Leearna6 @suz_rudnik @virginmedia Ofcom compensation is £8 a day for loss of service but they don’t pay it until service is back on... defo chase it up as it’s the law now not just a customer service / good will gesture. As soon as you are reconnected it should be applied to next bill.

@virginmedia called 10 days ago to negotiate better deal. Offered deal. Confirmation later was not what was agreed. Numerous calls by me to get resolved, going around in circles, promised calls back to resolve which have not happened, feel lied too. Customer service appalling

@vmbusiness after telling me I must upgrade to VoIP or my phone service will stop, you're now telling me that having done as asked we'll be without the number we've had for 25 years for 10-14 days. Are you serious? How would you cope if I cut your business phone line off?
