I have noticed a lot of people complain about the service received from @virginmedia for broadband. @Ofcom please can you look into this? We pay for a service that has constantly let us down for many months.

@virginmedia Service status says no known issues but when I call over the phone an automated message refers to intermittent problems last two days and that engineers are taking a long time to fix complex problems. Currently ok but recently every day there is a long period of issues.

@virginmedia Yes I did, a VM agent went through the whole event and resolved it for me. There are thousands of VM customers in a FaceBook group suffering similar problems it is called Virgin Media Customer Service.

@virginmedia broadband has been absolutely dire in the last few weeks. Phases of outage or sun 2mbps speeds. Anyone else experiencing similar in SE26 area? Remember it was around cold snap it got bad - maybe affected the infrastructure.

@virginmedia Please train your CSA's. Why they are so rude... Aren't you paying them.

@virginmedia They can't give me any credits or any reduction in price while engineers can't visit to change the box location. Only way not to pay for the TV service would be to downgrade my bundle, but that means I'm not eligible for 'new client discount', thus I don't save anything. 🙄

5th visit in 20 days from @virginmedia today to fix my broadband. Am I confident they'll actually give me the service they charge me £112.50 a month for? Am I hell. Can I actually get thru and speak to a virgin employee? Don't be ridiculous.

Guess what? Yes, @virginmedia is down again. I have no idea what I have done to them but they are treating me like I'm a c**t. Since 12 Feb I can count the days of adequate service on one hand. What an embarrassment of a company.

@virginmedia I have been “on hold” since 1851 for a customer service agent. This is kinda cementing my view of needing to leave.

Anyone have constant issues with @virginmedia we pay for 200Mb super fast broadband. We are in Bromley. Over the last year we have had nothing but issues and no matter how many times we make contact we get fobbed off. We are paying for a service that cannot deliver. Anyone else?

Hey, @virginmedia, your customer service is abysmal. After being told you can’t install an internet connection until end of the month at my fiancé and I’s new address, you then hang up on us three times when we try to cancel our subscription. Feels like you’re running a scam.

@virginmedia That is what happened. If it didn’t happened to you it is even more strange. Do you want me to do it again and record it? In the meantime, I was contacted today and agreed a way forwards to stay with VM. It is quite hard to have to deal with bad customer care while grieving.

@virginmedia Thank you but we have complained and no response. We are with you because you offer 200Mb and we need that, the closest competitor offers only 60Mb. It’s frustrating that we are paying for a service that is not guaranteed

Clearly the 06:05 ETA for a fix is an arbitrary generic number, as on the 1st March when it went down, the fix ETA was 06:05 too. @virginmedia

@virginmedia without a doubt the worst company I've dealt with. But they have a great person in Stefano, an engineer in the SW4 area. He has actually gone above and beyond to provide some customer service. I hope Virgin notice this, but they probably won't.

@virginmedia @Coley__76 This is what really annoys your customers. There's no ownership of issues. Your different teams are acting in silos. Why should it be up to the customer who is paying for a service to constantly have to chase and follow up. #VirginMedia

@virginmedia Billing issue: have worked through credit with a rep 3 months ago. Was told it would be applied. It hasn’t been. Spoke to another rep who was rude and unrelatedly told me he had masters in GDPR. He said he would ask management to approve credit. Over a month later, no credit!

@virginmedia Has anyone else been trying to end their contract with Virgin Media and having a nightmare? Have spoken to lots of virgin ‘representatives’ and even wrote a letter to cancel and was told by the complaints department that they do not accept letters to terminate. Joke!

@virginmedia @virginhelp I upgraded last week from Mixit to Maxit while signing a new contract. However I lost a few channels that I’ve now been told are part of a Kids package that I wasn’t aware of. So I need either cancelled and reverted to my old package as I’m within 14 days, or some other solution

@virginmedia You're just putting your prices up and I can apparently cancel or accept it. Except trying to cancel I got no where. I was offered the price rise to be waived for 6 months. But that's not good enough when there's 12 months left!

@virginmedia I have a hub 3 and to be honest I'm sick of talking to people at Virgin about the issue. All they are interested in doing is following a script of tests that I've already covered myself. The issue is, 5.0 GHz WiFi has VERY WEAK signal. Older devices that use WiFi 2.4 work fine.
