    @virginmedia I’ve had over 6 months of having poor WiFi where it cuts outs and has to be rebooted every other day (twice today already!). I want a technician to come out and sort ASAP as my family mobile bills are through the roof due to using data plan instead at home!

    @Leearna6 @suz_rudnik @virginmedia Ofcom compensation is £8 a day for loss of service but they don’t pay it until service is back on... defo chase it up as it’s the law now not just a customer service / good will gesture. As soon as you are reconnected it should be applied to next bill.

    @virginmedia No, as I explained, it appears to be no longer a problem. I am less concerned with a fault occurring; that happens. I am more irritated by a lack of notification of the change, no response to my call and your lack of acceptance of their being a problem.

    In a world that runs on the net if you are a @virginmedia customer you have to wait 4 days for an engineer to fix a modem, installed only in November 2018. IT’S NOT A JOKE!!! Thank you for letting me loose a day of work and 3 days worth of studying. #virginbroadband

    @virginmedia It’s working now, the point is that it wasn’t working when the women’s open was on yesterday with no warning or redirection. I tried to get help and was waiting 18 mins (timed). And by the way not the first time virgin randomly change the description or the channel.

    @DDavidian @virginmedia Upload is advertised. About 20meg. But had a few issues recently where download has randomly dropped from around 180-200 down to under 15.

    @virginmedia It was media. The call was finally answered after around 40 minutes. I wouldn’t mind if this was an isolated issue but I’ve had a number of problems with virgin media customer service (by phone) and looking online it seems that many other customers have experienced the same.

    @virginmedia very irritating. Sky sports golf is dead on Virgin 515:ladies open appears to be on sky mis 520. Tried to phone vurgin. Held for 16 minutes then gave up. Terrible.

    @virginmedia what is up with your customer service line! After the automated bits get told that everyone’s busy so get music. no voice updates “we will be with you soon” or “you have x mins to wait”. Tried 3 times over 20 mins - my WiFi is rubbish and if not fixed I will leave

    @virginmedia No, Sunday’s and tea times are the worse times, but it can be random / intermittent an hour or two here and there, the biggest problem is updating firmware and bios, your last crash cost me £700 because your service dropped out while updating diagnostic software

    @virginmedia No help whatsoever. I left virgin years ago because of customer service like this. Came back as was told it had improved. I have to say up until now it has been better. But flippant attitudes of support colleagues around total loss of a service is infuriating.

    @bilco62 @acar321 Cleared browser cache, but didn't help. Then cleared cookies specifically for Virgin Media and now I can see the correct page. Curious. I might go back to a backup and compare the cookie source code to see what's different.
