@virginmedia I want to cancel my broadband. I cannot contact you. I've been kept waiting so long my phone is out of charge. The password you sent me is not accepted. You are the most incompetent company I've dealt with in years.
-
Chels Daft ⚽️ (@ChelsDaft) reported from Egham, England
...the fact that it has taken me 30 minutes to get to this point in the first place is ridiculous. Dear @virginmedia I suggest someone from the UK who can deal with my complaint makes contact with me ASAP. Please note, over 33k followers can see this.

Karen Reekie (@catskidschaos) reported from Richmond, England
So apparently @virginmedia has a massive issue and we and many others have been told it won’t be working to 29th November. They won’t update the app or their site to reflect this, their twitter team here are not be honest about what is clearly a big problem. #CustomerServiceFail
-
Allison (@afturain) reported from West Molesey, England
@virginmedia holding on so long to talk to customer services that my home phone is out of charge! No wonder I want to leave them. Would not recommend at all.

Why have I been holding for over 30 mins @virginmedia Your response times are as bad as your fiber optic speeds. Terrible service.
-
Allison (@afturain) reported from West Molesey, England
@virginmedia finally managed to leave you. Time to celebrate! Useless service. No concept of customer service. Even asked me if it was about price because youy could do something about that.
-
Mark Kenny (@markbkenny) reported from Richmond, England
@virginmedia I suggest you improve your so called customer service by getting shut of it and starting again
-
Mark Kenny (@markbkenny) reported from Richmond, England
@virginmedia Got through after 45 mins wait. I pay a fortune for this and your customer support is not fit for purpose. I'm off.
-
Karen Reekie (@catskidschaos) reported from Richmond, England
@virginmedia The problem is you’ve lied and tried to pretend there isn’t a massive problem. Some honest answers about what’s been going on would make all the difference
-
Windmill Flowers (@MaryWindmill) reported from Lambeth, England
Virgin Media horrendous service and ridiculous methods when they attempt to resolve customer complaint
-
Windmill Flowers (@MaryWindmill) reported from Lambeth, England
@virginmedia Interesting how quickly a response is given once placed on Twitter. Being told you will be called back and this does not happen only after chasing and then ridiculous question about compensation and stupid language such as deadlock.
-
Jonny Pearson (@jonny_pearson) reported from Lambeth, England
@virginmedia 40 minutes it took for one of your operators to answer the telephone with no apology. I pay for a 200MB/s service and am currently receiving about 8MB/s and it’s been like this for weeks. I hope you’ll be adjusting my bill.
-
Allison (@afturain) reported from Spelthorne District, England
@virginmedia charging £57 to loyal customer. Offering same at £24 for new. Because no one wants to stay!
-
Karen Reekie (@catskidschaos) reported from Richmond, England
We are in a holding pattern on the phone with @virginmedia to speak to an actual human about our not working WiFi. How long will we wait for to actually get through to someone. #CustomerServiceFail
-
Phil Swallow Photography (@philswallowpics) reported from Croydon, England
Another day, another business-damaging fault from @vmbusiness. You are not providing me with a service guys, this is unacceptable. Someone needs to jump on this. I would consider going to another provider, even taking a speed reduction, for the sake of consistency

-
Verified Jedi (@LoZeno) reported
@Sparkle_71 @dhrutishah @virginmedia If their internet doesn't work, they can't use the Virgin media phone; and today's outage has affected also the emergency lines given to vulnerable customers. So the only way to call Virgin Media is to use non-Virgin Media phones.
-
Ben Rawson-Jones (@rawsonjones) reported
@virginmedia You should have been aware many hours ago when your customers were. Are you hiking prices next month to pay for new yachts for fat cat CEOs rather than a better service to the public? Prices high enough already.
-
Just a number (@BTCrypto1) reported
@virginmedia I really understand that sometimes issues can happen but what about when we have to negotiate our bills all the time, or every time our contract expires... if the culture is not changed I'm done with you, paying over £100 a month is not worth the stress
-
Lauren (@leg999) reported
@virginmedia Were you waiting for the press to start reporting on the outage before communicating to your customers? Or waiting for it to be fixed? The outage didn’t disappoint me, the total silence from the company did.
-
⚽️⚪️⚫️Lynsey ⚫️⚪️⚽️ (@Lynsey_nufc) reported
@virginmedia We’ve had poor service since November 2022 ! Engineer out last week confirms we have had multiple drop outs even one day with no service at all . System says you will get auto compensation no need to log . But yet no compensation just an increase in monthly bill #timetomove
-
Callum Dean (@CypherCookie) reported
@vmbusiness yo maybe make a statement about the outage for your business customers?
-
Steven (@Steven99990817) reported
@dhrutishah @virginmedia If its a backup unit (BBU) your parents have had installed, they are only able to call emergency services from it if their broadband has gone down. They are fitted with a sim card incase of a situation such as this one.
-
Darren Hughes (@scoobyfizz) reported
@SenseMakesNone @virginmedia a telecoms company like VM would have maintenance work and network work going on overnight rather than daytime. There also would or should have been a priorty 1 escalation of this issue happening regardless of time of day. The would have known about it around 2am at least
-
Zai (@Zait0bu) reported
@virginmedia Pretty embarrasing lack of communication and service literally the day before you bump up everyone's prices. You have a monopoly in my area or I would be gone in a heartbeat.
-
Sarah Fenn (@SarahFenn13) reported
@virginmedia I'm having to hotspot my personal phone to work. I doubt you will compensate me for my personal data loss. Having your service pages down is unforgivable too
