Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Leatherhead, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Leatherhead and nearby locations:

  • StuartTarn
Stuart the Copywriter (@StuartTarn) reported from Spelthorne District, England

A combination of @OpenreachHelp‘s incompetence by cutting through the internet cable outside my house and @virginmedia no showing for an engineering visit to fix it has me having to run my business through my phone hotspot until Friday. That’s if they show up, of course.

  • MrTG_Tweets
Trevor Graham (@MrTG_Tweets) reported from Redhill, England

@itsJuliaHardy Ah!! I work for Virgin Media O2, so I will pick my words carefully. I will speak to people in our customer experience team and get the right course of action so you can get some traction. Hope that's OK.

  • MitchM77
Mitch Manning 💜💙🦁🇺🇦 (@MitchM77) reported from Worcester Park, England

@neilpr85 @virginmedia Yes, this! Oh and now O2 have told me I might lose signal over 24hrs as they’re doing some works. So no mobile data for me either! I feel like I’ve jumped in a time machine and have gone back to 1990!! 😫

  • P4TTL
Patrick Smith (@P4TTL) reported from Chertsey, England

@virginmedia Yep, no issues in the area. Everything was working up until about an hour ago, and now the Internet has gone very sporadic and constantly disconnecting, as shown by the ping test.

  • Phil_Swallow
Philip 🦅 (@Phil_Swallow) reported from Croydon, England

Shockingly bad experience (again) from @vmbusiness @vmbusinesshelp - “upgrade” yesterday has wiped out my Wi-Fi - engineer coming next week. Couldn’t make it up, these cowboys really are the worst

  • fadermonkeyking
Jeff Brown (@fadermonkeyking) reported from Richmond, England

@virginmedia weekend only landline calls inclusive. Guess what? Christmas Day, a Sunday and the line’s dead. Self help in the app goes through everything, noise on line, nuisance calls etc but no option of dead line. Tried different handset. #bahhumbug

  • DazzlingHamster
Dr Mantis Toboggan M.D. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🇪🇺 (@DazzlingHamster) reported from Merton, England

@virginmedia is there a fault in the SW20 area? No internet since last night and your service checker is not working either.

  • judge_ravinder
Ravinder Judge (@judge_ravinder) reported from Hounslow, England

@virginmedia Why is the connection between the internet and tv constantly going having to reboot modem all the time. Sick of this issue as not once in a while happening for a month on & off, more everyday in the last two weeks. This is not the service I expect for how much I pay.

  • liezel_t
☆ Liezel ☆ (@liezel_t) reported from Merton, England

@virginmedia Well, no one bothered to turn up, called to chase and still not here past the time they told me on the phone they would arrive. Usual excellent service I have come to know from you 🥳

  • befitat50
Befitat50 (@befitat50) reported from Lambeth, England

@virginmedia what’s going on again with this internet at sw4? You just can’t fix a problem? Please don’t come up with your usual excuses and fix itttttt..

  • nicktippett
Nick Tippett (@nicktippett) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia Might I add that the last handler in pre install stated he was a 'senior' and he was incredibly rude, talking over me and trying to tell me what my problem was!

  • Shaun1799

  • safctinders

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • LongshanksE10
    Richard Astley (@LongshanksE10) reported

@virginmedia Hey I was told earlier by customer services on IM that an engineer will come to fix or replace my WiFi hub on Friday, but I haven’t received any email or text confirmation. Will one be forthcoming?

  • notnotzecoxao
    Jose Coixao (@notnotzecoxao) reported

@GregoryRasputin @virginmedia companies don't give a **** if you're sick or not, they just want your money greg lmfao

  • Terristarfish
    Teresa 💜 (@Terristarfish) reported

@Benleo We left @virginmedia as they had such poor customer service!

  • IamCarrieagain
    Carrie (@IamCarrieagain) reported

So, it appears that @virginmedia has cut off my Internet as threatened. My crime? I haven't had the time or energy to set up a new router they delivered last Friday. One they insisted on even though the current one works. I'm paying for a service they've decided to end

  • tiger20004
    Paul Phillips (@tiger20004) reported

@nufcrichys If you are a Virgin Media customer, all three finals are free on Channel 526; no HBO or TNT subscription is needed.

  • UAVHive
    UAVHive (@UAVHive) reported

@Benleo I have worked in telecoms customer service so can vouch for Virgin Media being (in my view) the worst in the industry. They billed me twice for a single month & made me pay for equipment I'd already returned. I was overjoyed to cancel.

  • Donatedparts
Steve Austin (Not the real one) 🇬🇧 (@Donatedparts) reported

@Benleo @marktenjag @virginmedia File an official complaint stating you were misled & want the contract cancelled without penalty. You can use a Consumer Rights Template from Citizens Advice. Escalate to a Communications Ombudsman if the company rejects your claim or fails to resolve it within 8 weeks.

  • badcorpse
    Matthew Kennedy (@badcorpse) reported

@Benleo Stay away from Virgin Media and you will be happier for it trust me. Clear someone in an office somewhere has said we can offer **** customer service that costs X from India or good customer service from the UK that costs Y and they have went with X

  • ActuallyClarex
    Clareactually (@ActuallyClarex) reported

Fk sake #virginmedia not working yet again. That’s made my mind up. Cancel it is.

  • ollyp3
    Ollyp3 (@ollyp3) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia Wait - you have to stay on a contract or cancel. Why can't they just cancel what you were sold, give you the compensation (which they are legally required to on Ofcom auto compensation anyway for lost connectivity) and fix your service urgently. I cannot believe you are being held to a missed contract without the perks of said contract! Apalling
