Finally get through to ooomph team @virginmedia explained everything he began looking into it then he hung up. Another hour on hold. Wtf is wrong with your systems! He’s not called back even though he’s got my details! No one give a ****. I had it for today 😩

What could possibly make me switch from my terrible 30mbps download @SkyUK fibre service? A £2 a month price hike. @virginmedia here I come!

  • noneybean Antje Southern (@noneybean) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia @prtmunro Communication with bots? Automated systems? I tried all. My landline still not working. And no one got back to me. Your customer service policy comes close to fraud

  • FaizYaz Y A Z F A I Z (@FaizYaz) reported from Camden Town, England

It for me and SURPRISE SURPRISE she was able do it no problem. I just kept refusing to be put on hold. Initially she muted me and probably wanted me to hang up but I stayed on the call. IM FINALLY FREE from Virgin and will happily never use their service again 💯👋🏼 #virginmedia

  • LynetteSzeto Lynette Szeto-Martinez (@LynetteSzeto) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia what is happening with the internet? I am on work calls and it annoying when the internet goes down. #internetdown

  • noneybean Antje Southern (@noneybean) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia I recommend to anyone never to consider taking out a Virgin Contract. Be careful to read other customers reviews. Once you sign up there is no way to leave again. You’ll be holding in the waiting queue until the end of your life.

  • Spinnofflondon Spinnofflondon (@Spinnofflondon) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia The worst company I have every dealt with. Unless I have total loss of internet I get no discount on my bills. The fact that I have minimum service is irrelevant to your “customer care” #ofcom really needs to regulate your company because you are ripping off your customers

  • fleekhan fiona khan (@fleekhan) reported from Esher, England

@virginmedia please help! Getting no where with your endless telephone systems! New ooomph customer no unlimited sim as promised which is badly needed because the 500 oomph speed promised is nonsense and doesn’t work at all in some of the house!

  • noneybean Antje Southern (@noneybean) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia Before you post this pay attention to making the Internet you provide reliable fist. Advertising high speed you raise false expectations. Every single comment on your site is a complaint. I really hope people draw their own conclusions and decide to not join.

  • Spinnofflondon Spinnofflondon (@Spinnofflondon) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia This outage has been going on a month. I sincerely don’t hold out any hope it will be fixed by 3 today but let’s see shall we?

  • Deano1969 Deano (@Deano1969) reported from Wandsworth, England

  • Peachey_79 Charlene Peachey (@Peachey_79) reported from Wandsworth, England

@SkyHelpTeam She needs @virginmedia to actually cancel her account as they added a package she didn’t agree to and now they won’t allow her to cancel or change. She’s not even signed or agreed to any new payments 😩

  • LonerganChris Chris Lonergan (@LonerganChris) reported from Lambeth, England

@virginmedia I’ve spent 1 hour on the phone trying to Cancel my service as the house has been sold! Both times it’s rung and nothing on the other end can you assist without me having to waste more time?

  • noneybean Antje Southern (@noneybean) reported from Islington, England

@Devylonely @virginmedia Try and cancel if you can. Read through the review on Twitter. People can’t get through to cancel. Get another small provider who have a real phone number to call and people who can help you.

  • WakeFireplaces Wakeford Fireplaces (@WakeFireplaces) reported from Send, England

@virginmedia Getting a new/replacement Hub, existing one keeps turning off/resetting. Call lasted 50 mins, 6-7 mins was chatting to someone, until put on hold again. Gave up.... shocking service!!

  • Mark_Phillips66 Mark Phillips 💙 (@Mark_Phillips66) reported from Camden Town, England

@TitaLulah @virginmedia They’re very poor - in service. They must be rolling in cash though.

  • NowHearThisUK Now Hear This (@NowHearThisUK) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia 6 months worth of internet issues

  • Peachey_79 Charlene Peachey (@Peachey_79) reported from Wandsworth, England

Hey @virginmedia My mate has moved house and you have increased her payments but given her a lesser package and now I can’t cancel cause you won’t let her.... @SkyHelpTeam what deals can you do for my friend?

  • noneybean Antje Southern (@noneybean) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia Calling your 0345 cost me £30 last time as waiting tines exceed one hour. You don’t get this? Do you? Seriously? £30 to get in touch with customer service?

  • noneybean Antje Southern (@noneybean) reported from Islington, England

@robmjanem1 @virginmedia I am waiting too. Virgin is a useless company. Not worth paying for top speed. They make is impossible to call and cancel. Wasted hours on the phone.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • NoTotiNoParty . (@NoTotiNoParty) reported

@virginmedia No area issue It's a new installation the guy I spoke to yesterday said it was something your end and he's passing it to the team he said it'd be done within a few hours still nothing been on the phone for hour and no ones picking up not a great start really

  • Ben_fisher Brendon fisher (@Ben_fisher) reported

Why is is so bloody hard the cancel @virginmedia broadband. Out of contract at the end of the month, an hour to give 30 days notice and still the call centre is insisting on tying to up-sale, how many times do we need to say PLEASE CANCEL. Now resorted to cancelling by letter.

  • purple_dragon25 kelly (she/her) (neurodiv.) (@purple_dragon25) reported

@Angela_Griffin @virginmedia No issues here with plusnet. Great service, they really look after me.

  • SueDawes9 Sue Dawes (@SueDawes9) reported

@virginmedia I realise this, you could offer a direct contact so my issues can be addressed rather than a generic number. Where I’m placed on hold yet again, go through security and then to be transferred and wait again. All a considerable drain on my time with no account for my commitments

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia It works intermittently. When I speak to an advisor they fix the issue at that moment. Then, the next day it’ll cut out again and the process repeats. It was working when the engineer left, but it didn’t last 24 hours. Intermittent isn’t good enough. I rely on you for work.

  • SueDawes9 Sue Dawes (@SueDawes9) reported

@virginmedia @virginmedia I can do so as I have no choice. Your answer once again highlights the extremely poor customer service. I’ve already told you it’s taken 2 months. Due to your system failings you ask me to call YOU and no recognition that your service has fallen short. Classic !!

  • SueDawes9 Sue Dawes (@SueDawes9) reported

@virginmedia Example 1 On Friday 30 Sept I waited from 7pm with for agent to connect to my call. It didn’t happen no apology or even a message to say it was a dropped call as you close at 9pm. Had to go through process all over again the following day when you had issues. I have more examples

  • _bethanwi bethanwi (@_bethanwi) reported

@virginmedia It’s an issue on all devices. Ethernet connection isn’t really relevant to test because all of our devices rely on Wi-Fi. We have about 3 devices using it at once max, but usually it’s one at a time (either the TV/PS5) we always use our phones on 4G because of how awful it is

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia It’s everything connected via Wi-Fi. I don’t have the connect app. I check for service status on your website and it usually says there isn’t an issue, but that doesn’t reflect my service.

  • notrag21 The Notrag (@notrag21) reported

@virginmedia is there a known issue for virgin media internet customers, connecting to the playstation network?
