.@virginmedia let me do your job and help you. Someone is flipping a switch at 11pm and turning the internet and TV off in the UB3 area. Come 8.30pm, it comes back up. Then at around 3pm or 4pm, goes down again and then comes back up after 20 mins. Does this show you a pattern?

Jonathan Norman (@jonathansnorman) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia I had an important online meeting at 7.30 this morning, no internet. Same problem last Thursday. Been and NTL & Virgin customer since forever but it feels like it is time to change
-
Mr T (@onemistert) reported from London, England
@jayrayner1 @virginmedia If the service isn’t down in the area then the fault could simply be resolved by restarting the hub. I guess you’ve done that already?
-
Mark Britnell (@markbritnell) reported from Richmond, England
@virginmedia I have. How do you expect me to work today & tomorrow if the engineer can only come on Tuesday evening? And why doesn’t your customer service centre pick up the calls? I spent about 3 hours yesterday trying to self-diagnose the problem and waiting for someone to pick up the phone
-
Julian Hull (@JulianHull) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia what’s happened to our internet?? I’m in GU14 trying to work from home. The last 2 weeks we’ve either had no internet or very very slow. Ran speed checks, used to be over 100, now it’s mostly around 6-15 and we are paying for 100
-
Mark Britnell (@markbritnell) reported from Richmond, England
@virginmedia waited an hour on customer services call. No reply. Internet and media down. Can you help please?
-
Nadeem S. Hassam (@nadeemshassam) reported from Hillingdon, England
@virginmedia It’s NOT ONLY happening to me. There are many people in the Heathrow area (hope that suffices) for a start, that have this issue. I’ve given up on your app and customer service as we are not trying to understand our issue or the frequency of it. You just want to close your ticket
-
Nadeem S. Hassam (@nadeemshassam) reported from Hillingdon, England
@virginmedia In addition, when will it be fixed for good? If you don’t want your customers up in arms, be transparent, honest and say what the problem is and relay and exact date. No canned responses!!!
-
Nadeem S. Hassam (@nadeemshassam) reported from Hillingdon, England
@Roz4luv @paulinebbennett @virginmedia Do not give in Rosie. And do not pay! You pay for a service and they are not providing it. Stick with it my dear! #virginmediadown

Thank you @virginmedia for the worst service ever. We have been suffering from no broadband all day today while our work depends on this. It has been horrible for many days now. You do not answer phones or messages through your app. Is this what your customers deserve???

Nadeem S. Hassam (@nadeemshassam) reported from Hillingdon, England
BREAKING NEWS: First hand account from a @virginmedia engineer, who is told by his superiors to turn off the Internet between 11pm and 8.30am as they don’t work overnight as well as most of weekend. Overtime payment issues. Hundreds affected. Issue is due to electric company
-
Ola Agbaimoni (@OlaAgbaimoni) reported from London, England
@virginmedia Wow I’m shocked. Clearly a lot of people will have gadgets that can only support 2Ghz which was available as a separate SIDD on the hub 3. If you were not going to support it you owed customers forewarning of this fact.
-
Zain Khan (@zainyboy89) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

-
diviyesh shah (@pharmr5) reported from Brentford, England
@virginmedia once again broadband down. Working from home, when will it be up and running again?

@newsmulg @LindaFStewart @virginmedia Really stupid question are you using powerline plugs? @virginmedia Well my contract changed 8 Jan 2021. The first month was an odd figure to allow for change mid-month. The 2nd month £86 which was correct. Now its £90. I was assured the new contract would remain the same and it included latest price change. Can't get any help on the phone
-
Claudette Hewitt (@Claudette966) reported

@WhichUK The biggest issue for me is not the hassle or price, but speed. Only virgin media can offer the speed I need. So the many other cheaper options just aren’t feasible.

@virginmedia It is back up today. I have tried to get through to people via phone, but it's just circular automated menus. When I filed a complaint, I got a 1 second phone call, then an email telling me I had been educated, and a survey asking me how well you dealt with the problem...
