  • CraigHannan4 Craig Hannan (@CraigHannan4) reported from Ash, England

Hi @virginmedia you did an update in my area for wifi yesterday. And my wifi hasn’t worked since. I have switched on and off a few times since and also retried to reinstall. I moved from sky a month ago to you due to wifi issues and I have them with you already.

  • TomboBrewster Tom Vincent (@TomboBrewster) reported from Egham, England

Not a great start by @virginhelp @virginmedia Engineer doesn't turn up and now 90mins and waiting on hold to find out what the issue is. Annoying we had to leave @skytv because of their broadband speed in the new house.

  • markinhants Mark in Hants 🇪🇺 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 (@markinhants) reported from Aldershot, England

@virginmedia I’m asking your team whether they want to do anything to match that to keep a customer but I keep connecting someone new & around I go again. Happy to DM or take a call from someone

  • woodyturts Alex Turton (@woodyturts) reported from Farnborough, England

    @virginmedia service down in GU14?

  • CraigHannan4 Craig Hannan (@CraigHannan4) reported from Ash, England

@virginmedia Yes. And there customer service email. I also tried the contact number. But not accepting calls. Surely this should be automatically credited to me. I shouldn’t have to chase it. Sent loads of emails over the last few weeks now. I’ve just been ignored.

  • CM40UK CM40 (@CM40UK) reported from Blackwater, England

@virginmedia No resolution has been offered by @virginmedia hence I have no cancelled my contract.

  • shombell Paul Riddell (@shombell) reported from Ash, England

@vmbusiness thanks for NOT INFORMING your business customers about a known outage that has been a fault since FEB 1st. Paying you for 1gb broadband and I simply cannot run a business with this type of service. Will look to cancel my service asap. You are clowns in disguise!!

  • CM40UK CM40 (@CM40UK) reported from Blackwater, England

@virginmedia My cancellation date is already set 11th Nov 2022, as I have to give 30 days notice. You lost my business yesterday after one of your CS decided to try and change my package to make it cheaper thinking that would sort problem, he wasn’t listening to complaint!

  • leaver_sharon Sharon Leaver (@leaver_sharon) reported from Bracknell, England

@virginmedia Sorted now. Received an envelope last week with an adaptor. A leaflet inside stated we would receive an email when to change it. No such email received. Communication very poor

  • BeckyMorrish13 Becky Morrish (@BeckyMorrish13) reported from Camberley, England

Useless service from @virginmedia called 2 discuss package options on hold for ages the agent says he was trying to help them puts me on hold then put the phone down. If their customer service is like that I think I’ll try give someone else a go @skytv can you do better?

  • CM40UK CM40 (@CM40UK) reported from Blackwater, England

@virginmedia Sadly I am not, as I have never any compensation for the lost of my connection, I lost Wi-Fi for about hour yesterday but as normal virgin media are not up holding its guarantee. I an@self-employed and the one thing I rely on is my internet connection.

  • HoarseRoar eamorugby (@HoarseRoar) reported from Slough, England

@virginmedia Still no service. Your website tells me service is fine. Over the phone the automated message is “an intermittent service” and when I finally spoke with someone they’ve organised a technician to visit next TUESDAY. It’s a mess.

  • kirstyrosenunn Kirsty Nunn (@kirstyrosenunn) reported from Guildford, England

Hey @virginmedia @virginhelp can you have a look at your wifi service in the Guildford area? It’s been patchy for weeks, now have had no connection on any device for the past 24 hours; as someone who works and studies from home a lot, this is quite worrying and frustrating

  • CM40UK CM40 (@CM40UK) reported from Blackwater, England

@MoneySavingExp How about they just deliver consistent service? I am leaving Virginmedia and they are making it hard, there rules state if I don’t get the speeds promised they I can leave without penalties, I’ve had 7 times where I have connection in the last 3 days! @virginmedia @richardbranson

  • mattrose18 Matt Rose (@mattrose18) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia TV is an issue. broadband is not. Tests are always either cannot connect at this time or say there is nothing wrong. Don’t see how my kit in the house can one minute have speeds on +300Mb to next to nothing?

  • CM40UK CM40 (@CM40UK) reported from Blackwater, England

@virginmedia Yes I have on multiple occasions, I have just been taking to engineer who running the 30 day test, while taking to him I had 3 lost connection issues. Your employees are trying say that I will have to pay to leave my contract, @Ofcom state, I can leave without penalty

  • CRJG_ Cameron🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@CRJG_) reported from Bracknell, England

Huge congrats to @virginmedia for having a web chat service that is so bad that I joined the chat to upgrade my broadband, but after waiting for an eternity for replies I’m pretty much ready to just close my account

  • P4TTL Patrick Smith (@P4TTL) reported from Chertsey, England

@virginmedia Yep, no issues in the area. Everything was working up until about an hour ago, and now the Internet has gone very sporadic and constantly disconnecting, as shown by the ping test.

  • andburd Andrew Burdett (@andburd) reported from Maidenhead, England

Hi @virginmedia, I’ve spent more than an hour on the phone to your advisors this morning and am getting nowhere. I have therefore now decided I would like to cancel my contract (I am within cooling-off period). Would I still be considered a ‘new’ customer if I find a new deal?

  • JPGComms JPGComms (@JPGComms) reported

@virginmedia No they didn’t, I was explaining that I can’t easily get out because of my disability and that I think it’s unfair to charge me delivery again, because the boosters aren’t working and I was told that if there were problems with them there would be no additional del. charge then

  • imtheirwifenow Dave (@imtheirwifenow) reported

My internet with @virginmedia is at the point where it's so awful I may as well not have it. We literally just hotspot to our phones for everything because I we can barely get a single MB of internet. Oh and they signed me up for a new contract without telling me. Scumbags!

  • imtheirwifenow Dave (@imtheirwifenow) reported

@virginmedia No there's no issue anywhere, there's something wrong with my line of hub or something. I just did a speed test and I'm getting 253.4kps. It's honestly a joke and nobody helps when I contact you.

  • elecsmartuk Elecsmart Electricians Ltd (@elecsmartuk) reported

@virginmedia I’ve finally after a full day of trying to cancel I think I’ve successfully cancelled this 💩show !

  • karlbenk Karl bentley (@karlbenk) reported

@virginmedia disgusting service left without home phone for days told yesterday would be a engineer coming and we was given a new phone number and told would work within 24hrs fobbed off again by virgin media

  • dnsmiff_david David (@dnsmiff_david) reported

@virginmedia there there we go round in a circle - I've spent over 2 hours trying to resolve calling that number, one call over 1 hour ( which I've been charged 42p for!!). The last person said he had raised an IT ticket, I've raised a complaint on your system for what good that will do.

  • Sueworld Silver (@Sueworld) reported

@virginmedia The work was completed, but he refused to wear any mask citing he was exempt due to 'health issues' even though the Virgin rep had assured me he would wear on. #Covid_19

  • Kate_SLRB Kate (@Kate_SLRB) reported

@virginmedia Unfortunately that has all been done many times and they have identified the problem. Unfortunately this has gone on for a long time now and recently every appt booked has been a no-show without any notice.
