-
Martyn Jones (@TheonlyJonesy) reported from Fleet, England
@virginmedia don’t worry about supplying a service that I can use to work from home, I’d much rather leave the house in a pandemic to access stable broadband...!!!
-
Ems ☾ (@EmsAlice) reported from Bracknell, England
@virginmedia We managed to get through to your team on the phone yesterday and they said they will call us back. It started working again yesterday evening but it’s an on and off problem we have had for weeks so needs looking into properly which I hope will happen soon.
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia Hi AR, I was given no time at all, only that there were ongoing issues the last two weeks then he said 7-10 days. He said you were working on it, it would be fixed but no timescale. 15 days of unreliable BB is awful. Have had 100% outages of up to 36 hours.
-
PaulineAyres-S/W (@paulineayres) reported from Blackwater, England
@virginmedia Have to wait until Monday until an engineer can come out to fix whatever the problem is, I have never ever had a good connection, made many complaints but this is the worse ever. Intermittence connections causing me to need another @SlimmingWorld consultant to cover my groups 💔
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia Called yesterday PM: engineer tested the line, said there were network issues despite status page saying to the contrary. Was told you were fixing the issue but today is day 15 and no BB since ~15:30 yesterday. I have to go to the office, no choice. Poor/no BB = risk my health 🙁
-
Bob Beveridge (@BobBeveridge1) reported from Reading, England
@virginmedia When your expensive fibre broadband crashes in the middle of an online meeting with an MP this is bloody frustrating and unacceptable. Your service is often unreliable in the middle of the day. Can it be fixed or do I need another provider as backup?
-
Kathy mckenry (@KathyMck1962) reported from Reading, England
@virginmedia can you advise how much longer our internet will be down in the Tilehurst Reading area had no internet since 8pm yesterday? ?
-
John Neilson (@flyingjok) reported from Camberley, England
@virginmedia Your web site is not very helpful really - apparently the fault will be rectified by 08.40 this morning. Understand technical problems arise but it’s surely much better to provide proactive updates rather than to react in receipt of complaints?
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@sniveldirk @virginmedia Also it’s not reliable broadband. I’m suffering day 15 of anything but the 350MB connection I paid for. Right now it’s dead again. The lack of service forced me to have to work from an office today (again!) How unsafe is that?
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@Binky_2301 @virginmedia The service was pretty reliable until now 19 days ago. Their status tool says no issues yet an engineer told me there were. And that they were fixing it. Been watching Twitter and it’s been an issue with folks all over the country.
-
PaulineAyres-S/W (@paulineayres) reported from Blackwater, England
Omg @virginmedia the worse service you could possible get 😡
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@SinghT2j @virginmedia It’s been down a good 3 days in the last 14 here. Otherwise it’s either slow or randomly intermittent. They really need to sort their network out, it was never this bad until 2 weeks ago.
-
Joanne Wells (@MatildaDr) reported from Basingstoke, England
@virginmedia you used to be great, but now not so great. I lose my internet connection far more frequently now. There’s an error when I try and change my package online. I’ve phoned customer service now I have to call tomorrow as your systems are down for changing packages
-
Will Matthews (@wmatthew) reported from Fleet, England
@virginmedia is there a bandwidth issue in the network? I’m in Fleet, Hampshire #patchy #slow
-
Ems ☾ (@EmsAlice) reported from Bracknell, England
@virginmedia It’s now been more than 48 hours and once again our catch up services and virgin media store is down and unavailable ... this time with no known local issue. What am I meant to do?
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
Dear diary, day 16 of poor/zero broadband. I called @VirginMedia, joined a queue, cooked, served & ate dinner, started watching The Simpsons then after 48 minutes of Jake Bugg and some other repetitive on-hold phone entertainment, they cut me off!
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@GuseensLV @virginmedia Ah man, I’m with ya. 350MB here was fab until 16 days ago. Been “OK” today, had a relatively stable connection but it never crept over 10MB and that was if I was lucky *sigh*
-
Pilot_Paul 🇪🇸 (@pilot_paul) reported from Basingstoke, England
@Dom_Brown2406 @virginmedia Got through. They aim to fix the issue by 10:00
-
Dawn Fabbricatti🇿🇦🇮🇹 (@DawnFabbricatti) reported from Reading, England
@virginmedia You LITERALLY cannot be serious right now? Is this how you believe my issue will be solved? And yes, in the last 19 days I have rebooted twice.
-
PaulineAyres-S/W (@paulineayres) reported from Blackwater, England
@virginmedia I have to wait until Monday for an engineer to come and fix whatever the problem is but never ever had a good connection and made many complains

Mike Johnson (@mike_johnson) reported
@virginmedia @O2 I'm bothered by this - I left O2 when they refused to give me a working phone and left me uncontactable. I'd have been able to see my grandmother before she died if they'd provided any kind of proper service.
-
Counterfeit Creg (@counterfeitcreg) reported
@claireelkin @virginmedia Same issue here, restarted several times and no fix, shameless extortionate service which for vulnerable people like myself really is vital
-
twitch.tv/k7randal (@ryanalleycat1) reported
Internet for the past 2 days keeps goin down been happenin to everyone on my street. Virgin media is shite
-
The silver goat 🐐 (@groovyblueshed) reported
@virginmedia It's 2021. Life's too short navigating your website & it's hard work accessing customer care. Call handler couldn't access my details because of an "incorrect password" (different to my login) so no help. Said they'd email a new one but haven't.
-
𝕵 𝕰𝖑𝖑𝖊 (@KeepItJElle) reported
@virginmedia hi, my internet and my neighbours have gone down completely. Can you tell me if it’s a problem in the area? I have people working from home, so need this fixed as soon as. Thanks
-
Clive Richardson (@CliveR39) reported
@virginmedia No, I have been told online and by text that there is a queue of 'at least 45 minutes'. This is NOT acceptable service. Perhaps the new partnership with @O2 might bring an improvement. I just want to ask about cancelling an upgrade.
-
Jenny Kimber (@JennyKimber2) reported
@virginmedia I'm not convinced. I'll be asked to book an expensive visit from an engineer, when the problem is not with me - it's an area problem.
-
J. Chapman, what a yessa (@hadfuckin_tight) reported
@virginmedia Na, I'm not wasting another 40 minutes of my life for nothing. Hire a better customer service team
-
Jackie (@HeresJDW) reported
@ariixoxo @virginmedia ..an hour! You got off lightly, I have spent months trying to resolve my broadband issues, might just stop paying and see how long it is before they are contacting me!! #notgoodenoughVirgin
-
B (@BLFCxx) reported
@Chriss_m @Veronica_Strain @O2 Got to be a bot surely, they get fined every year due to poor service, I’ve never quite experienced bad customer service like I have with virgin media, they’re know to be one of the worst companies to deal with when their ****** service drops 5 times a day
