Getting a bit fed up of @virginmedia marketing calls that just hang up when I indicate I’m not interested - not even giving me the chance to opt out - #GDPR rule breaking....
-
Grant Baartman (@gb20man) reported from Bracknell, England
@virginmedia Not impressed, area service is restored but my service is still down. Engineer booked for Tuesday - do you really call this service!!!! I seem to have ongoing issues with Virgin Media - seriously considering changing my provider.

The @virginmedia amazing service continues, pay £13.99 for a film that you cannot watch due to technical error 🙄 look online, seems common & responses unhelpful, hurry up @SkyUK & get faster broadband here so I can switch!
-
James (@InflightJames) reported from Wokingham, England
Absolute SHIT customer service from @virginmedia today. Due have an iPhone delivered yet “for some reason” it was cancelled. Thanks for that.
-
Martin law (@tw1tterlawsey) reported from Reading, England
@virginmedia , have been a customer for many years, my recent experience of your customer service was appalling and no empathy shown or value for my custom. I said your service makes want to leave, I was told that’s my choice, so leaving

Gareth “Gazimoff” Harmer (@Gazimoff) reported from Basingstoke, England
@virginmedia That’s right. We’d moved house and we’re hoping to keep you with us, but there’s been over a month of delays (issues with current cable). I need it for work, so I’ve been forced to cancel and organise alternatives.
-
LewisJHulatt (@lewis_hulatt) reported from Guildford, England
@virginmedia your service level is shameful. Some people have to work for a living to pay your high prices - yet you treat our services as a treat to be given randomly like a capricious parent. Fed up with your shoddy service.
-
Soph (@daddysdahmer) reported from Reading, England
@virginmedia internet keeps dropping out in RG30 and then completely went. No issues showing on your site. Tried restarting router but still no internet!!!
-
Grant Baartman (@gb20man) reported from Bracknell, England

-
Katy Hamilton (@Katyebh) reported from Reading, England
@virginmedia I made a GDPR complaint to you at the time of writing that tweet it was acknowledged, my preferences were updated (apparently) and yet I STILL get calls. Not a word of an apology in that letter though. Didn’t think anything would tempt me back to Sky..
-
Woodsy (@chriswoods84) reported from Wokingham, England
@virginmedia only had internet installed last week. For about the 15th time it's dropped out. Fed up of sitting on phone on hold. Service update page says all ok. Clearly isn't
-
Woodsy (@chriswoods84) reported from Wokingham, England
@virginmedia I've done all that. It's been intermittent all day. I've reset. I've turned on and off. I've sat on hold. It's a ridiculous service
-
Melissa Burns (@lissaburns) reported from Basingstoke, England
@virginmedia down in #Basingstoke RG21 - call to find out its out between 10am and 3pm due to network improvements. Surely such a significant outage he should come with prior warning - how to damage #CX ! Could have been a great #CX if communicated well...
-
Katy Hamilton (@Katyebh) reported from Reading, England
@virginmedia Exactly - hands washed of the issue. I don’t need an update, you’ve told me it’s done. It isn’t.
-
Martin law (@tw1tterlawsey) reported from Reading, England
@virginmedia Was not anticipating having to leave when i called in, was unhappy you increased my monthly charge and had not been advised. Was told you could do this and there was nothing you could do to rectify the overcharge. Been a loyal customer for 8 years and got treated this way

-
Sophie Yates (@sophie_yxx) reported
@virginmedia No link for my problem tho! I was told that I wouldn’t be charged until all my services were up & running and yet you sent me a bill dated 2nd June for £20 a month more than I had been paying on the contract u were supposed to be migrating. I gave me the wrong no as well….
-
Money Bee (@MoneyBenjamin) reported
@QuickStopHicks Typical Virgin Media! We have these problems A LOT!
-
Sophie Yates (@sophie_yxx) reported
@virginmedia That seems to be acceptable service to you though. I have been a customer of yours for over fifteen years and there seems to be no acknowledgement of that fact.
-
Rob Allen (@_roballen) reported
@virginmedia This same thing happened yesterday, web checker says all is fine. Then later on after listening to the automated call it says there is a problem. But it feels purposefully difficult to get somewhere with vm
-
Braan Girl (@braangirl) reported
@virginmedia My point is that the 14 day cooling off regulation is not being followed here. She should be able to cancel the new contract - which she STILL hasn't been sent the new terms and conditions of, 14 days later.
-
Craig Aspey (@cr41g4) reported
@virginmedia 1) it’s not a first bill. It’s a continuation of service with a package change, because if I didn’t change package I’d be paying double every month. 2) I wasn’t told at the time of agreeing to the renewal. This is tone deaf from Virgin. Chargin double in a month. No.
-
Sophie Yates (@sophie_yxx) reported
@virginmedia I just need to get the issue resolved. I have been treated appallingly. You left me with no phone for over a week and were going to leave me with no broadband for that time as well.
