@virginmedia It's always the same response. No service impacting issues reported. However, the service is pretty bad. Wondering if @virginmedia network is capable of handling traffic or deliberately doing throttling. @Ofcom

If anyone is interested in how much @virginmedia are overcharging for their dreadful service, I’ve just been offered a price match on cancellation to move to a different supplier. £27.50/month for a service for which they originally increased price to £105/month

@virginmedia Nope. There’s “nothing wrong” with the broadband according to the status page. Never is. It’s always the hub supposedly downloading updates. 10 weeks of this now, getting a bit bored of the lack of service TBH. This needs to be escalated.

@virginmedia my broadband is running at 10mbps (supposed to be 200). The app has done a "scan" and it says there is a network error and check back in 24 hours. Problem is, it's still slow three days later and there appears to be no more help on offer. Now what?

@virginmedia hello. Please could you advise how on earth I get in touch with someone by phone??. I’ve spent 15 mins navigating website to try and get to a person rather than a bot. I need to report an equipment fault which isn’t service specific

@virginmedia so, I've been trying for over 3 hours now to cancel my contract and absolutely no progress made so far!!! 3 hours. Surely this is a breach of ofcoms rules to make cancellation a reasonably quick and easy process!?

@virginmedia Thanks - I did try that and booked an engineer to come between 12-4pm today…it is now after 5:30pm and…nothing. No engineer, no call, no email, no text. Apart from the inconvenience, it’s just plain rude.

@virginmedia & whilst I have to wait a few days I have to keep paying for a substandard product. The whole reason I asked for an engineer was because your call centre service & website/forum is inadequate. Your staff’s refusal to send an engineer has inflamed the situation #virginmedia

@virginmedia That’s all very well but your call centre staff told me the complaints team would call me within 72 hours. So which is it 72 hours or 2 weeks? Sort of issue that gives a brand a bad reputation #virginmedia

@virginmedia more than 6 weeks our Internet has been keeling over daily at less than 1MB when we pay for 100. Assuming I can stay online long enough the bot fails to help, puts me to a person who then puts me back to the bot! Hoping twitter is monitored by an actual human being?
