Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
‘ere, @VirginMedia, it’s been a full month now of totally unreliable service at my house; 5 engineers later, with the last call to 0345 454 111 on Friday saying you KNOW there’s a problem and it WILL be fixed in 24 hours. I called bullshit. I was right. Sort this out!!!

Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia Yep. Wired isn’t working either. I have no broadband, no WiFi, no service. Been like this since Saturday and intermittent since Jan/Feb.
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia Thanks. Done that. Multiple times. And over the last 6 months. And when I was an ntl: customer. And CableTel before that. 27 years of 56k > 350Mb and now it’s totally doing my head in. Unable to work from home properly. Boss won’t be happy!

Deborah Jessup (@Debbiejojessup) reported from Woodley, England
Trying to cancel our Virgin Broadband what a nightmare. On hold for 90 mins still no one answers from the cancellation department. #virginmedia @virginmedia
-
_jarl_ostensen (@psjarlo) reported from Guildford, England
@virginmedia Service status is all green, which is wrong because there is known maintenance work happening. My point is that planned work should happen over night to reduce impact.
-
stevemason (@EssarrMason) reported from Aldershot, England
@virginmedia Inadequate reply, to my mind, you contracted to supply a service, you cannot deliver that service, uou terminated the contract....perhaps YOU shoukd pay the cancellation fee!
-
Natasha Gorrie (@tashaj1984) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia I have posted but not sure how a forum post will help. Can you advise of your official escalation complaint process
-
Andy Barr 🇬🇧🇪🇺 (@AndyBarr79) reported from Reading, England
@virginmedia I can't sign in as I no longer hold an account, your CS don't care and obviously fobbing me off and not raising complaints as requested, I will just pursue via FCA and/or trading standards.
-
Alex Turton (@woodyturts) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia hey, it’s been slow going on broadband in GU14 since Tuesday.
-
Chris C (@a3racer) reported from Wokingham, England
@virginmedia is there a fix time for the Virgin TV issue in the GU21 area? It’s been down now for over 24 hours! Will my account be credited with money that I have paid for no service?
-
derrick mulvana (@nenevall) reported from Reading, England
@virginmedia @OfficialRandL reading festival, the virgin media mobile network is on its knees with no internet connection across most of the site.. sort it out.
-
Alison Jane Wilson (@AlisonJaneWilso) reported from Camberley, England
@virginmedia truly awful company stuck in the dark ages why would you trust them with broadband when after 3 months notice to quit they take full payment and then you have to apply for a refund !!! Company run by dinosaurs looking for opportunities to rip you off when leaving !
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia Thanks. Engineer showed up, plugged in a new Hub 3, “fixed” my BB & WiFi and, 3 hours later, it’s still not working. Can I 1) file a complaint and 2) get a guarantee that this will be fixed for once and for all.
-
Mike Biscoe (@MikeBiscoe1) reported from Reading, England
@virginmedia *sigh*. Been directed to this many times. Had engineers referred many times. This is a persistent issue that raises its ugly head far too frequently
-
Ultra Mugnus (@mkn1ght) reported from Reading, England
@monstroso @virginmedia A problem we all have.
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@Firesnapper999 @virginmedia It’s really frustrating; the third technician was brilliant, replaced everything almost like a new install and it worked great for just over a week. Now the status site says everything is good whilst a call to support says it isn’t. #Grrr

_jarl_ostensen (@psjarlo) reported from Guildford, England
Since so many of us are working from home it would be nice if network maintenance could be done over night, to minimise disruption...@virginmedia

Adnan Khan (@akhan1994) reported
@virginmedia the office, spending monthly direct debits for your services without receiving a actual proper solution. I’m not happy and on the verge of cancelling and signing back up with sky as I’ve never once had this issue with them!
-
FIT BY NATURE (@FitbyNature2) reported
@virginmedia As I said before it’s a new contract which has not even started as connection is currently not possible so 30 days notice is irrelevant hence we are exercising our right to cancel in the cooling off period. Seriously is this how you operate as a company! So nothing in writing
-
Lo (@Ace007Mac) reported
@virginmedia I don't know, as some devices are completely wireless. I had asked when I called & again in my complaint for an engineer to take a look, nothing was arranged for me. I've not been offered a replacement hub to try either. I was just continually told to troubleshoot.
-
Adnan Khan (@akhan1994) reported
@virginmedia that the issue would be resolved by 6pm today. I’ve now received another update saying it’ll be done tomorrow at 4. What’s the issue? Why are your engineers incompetent to fix the problem? People are working from home and have to spend additional money travelling to

RSN: Clanks2 (@Clanks2) reported
@MartinSLewis Problem is, that it is ok that theses deals are around. But in my area, mostly Virgin Media have all the High Speed stuff. 1Gb speeds, but BT and everyone else is 6Mbps speeds. Not really viable for most people at them (SSS) stupid slow speeds. Competition here is Zero

freddie woods (@FreddieWoods) reported
@virginmedia we have our router and we are paying for broadband, but whoever set up our account your end never sent us an account number or confirmation email at all. So we can’t contact you! Please message me
-
owen southworth (@obpls1995) reported from Wigan, England
@virginmedia can you explain why the moment I told your staff over the phone that I was disabled they decided to speak to me as if I was an idiot and then tell me they can't help me because I can't spell out my password despite telling them 5 times what the password was.
-
Berni Stevens (@Berni_Stevens1) reported
@virginmedia We deleted the Outlook address yesterday. I don’t send emails from your server for that reason as my email is a work email and I don’t want his name on it. Confuses people. That’s how we knew there was a problem!
-
Berni Stevens (@Berni_Stevens1) reported
@virginmedia The issue is with your server which has been hacked into. Goodness knows how many customers will have been affected. My computer is just fine. Passwords were changed yesterday.
