@virginmedia Truly astounding. I have spent hours trying to get virgin to actually carry out promises made and we’re still not there. I’ll swear the customer services reps I speak to are under so much pressure to move on to the next call they make it up as they go.

  • TheBadgerG Thom Gibbons (@TheBadgerG) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia Yes, zero issues in area for broadband, pulled apart and reset the router numerous times. It just keeps wanting to download new settings, works for a bit and then fails. Engineer now booked for next Wednesday which is an eternity running my business from home.

  • fayeharland faye harland (@fayeharland) reported from Reading, England

@virginmedia I’m not sure if they do. Happy to do another web chat to cancel.

  • Chateauneuf64 Bowlesy (@Chateauneuf64) reported from Wokingham, England

Really hard to support brand @virginmedia and recommend them to anyone for Broadband. They may be the only competitor to BT but do you have to compete for last place?

  • fayeharland faye harland (@fayeharland) reported from Reading, England

@virginmedia Hi again. Just letting you know we’ve made contact with him and all seems fine. So please can we cancel the engineer for Friday.

  • littlekatyb Katy Blay (@littlekatyb) reported from Basingstoke, England

@virginmedia Hi! Our landline is being switched over to fibre on the 4th October, however our landline and WiFi hub are not on the same floor so we cannot connect them. Help please!

  • K74Marti Marti Jerrard - K74 (@K74Marti) reported from Farnborough, England

Everyday this week and again today @virginmedia has stopped working… constant resets and in some cases down for 3-4 hrs at a time which is preventing work, training, education & entertainment! Come on #Virgin sort your reliability out pse

  • TimSBourne Tim Bourne (@TimSBourne) reported from Wokingham, England

@virginmedia I'm sick of explaining this again & again - see previous tweets & msgs to VM. It isn't even noted - yesterday 2nd line support looked at my ticket & said I'm "not receiving any emails" NO NO NO! Just emails with etickets attached, even tho get non ticket emails from same sources

  • nickybootyy Nicky Booty (@nickybootyy) reported from Reading, England

@virginmedia when will the problems in rg1 be resolved?

  • Chateauneuf64 Bowlesy (@Chateauneuf64) reported from Wokingham, England

@virginmedia Broadband down again, 2nd week in a row. Had one day of service and stupidly canx Engineer due next day and hey presto back down we go again. 1 week wait for engineer, 1 day of BB, and now earliest slot for Engineer +1 week. Buyer beware. Typing whilst 50 mins holding with VM!

  • Chateauneuf64 Bowlesy (@Chateauneuf64) reported from Wokingham, England

@virginmedia And there you have the extent of VM customer care folks!

@virginmedia Hi there, can you tell me how to cancel Sky Sports subscription, please?

  • SilentLokusT LokusT 🇪🇺 (@SilentLokusT) reported

@virginmedia Might've helped if you looked at the tweet I replied to. I dealt with your crappy customer service a few months ago. It's my turn with O2 now.

  • blairjoyce3 JoycieB (@blairjoyce3) reported

@O2 @virginmedia I'm a customer of both but when I go into O2 it wants me to join Virgin Media to participate and vice versa ..

  • apathetic_nerd Apathetic Nerd (@apathetic_nerd) reported

@virginmedia So I pay more for the same package a new subscriber gets, even after 25 years of being a customer.

  • pierskarsenbarg Piers Karsenbarg (@pierskarsenbarg) reported

@ICooper @virginmedia @OpenreachHelp I really like VM. I’ve had maybe a couple of hours downtime in all the time I’ve been WFH and even when I’ve had issues, they’ve sent someone out first thing the next morning (no complete outage, but had an old outdoor connection that the engineer was quick to fix)

  • snoo999 Sue Carr (@snoo999) reported

Let see if @virginmedia can rectify their mistake, of leaving an elderly vunreable person, without a phone line or emergency line for over 2 weeks. And, not tell them this would happen. #Shameful

  • PandaAkagi AkagiPanda 🐼 PNG VTuber 🤍 (@PandaAkagi) reported

@virginmedia The fact I can log into My Virgin Media, but not the email account which uses the same credentials, tells me it isn't an issue with my credentials. Even if I click "email" from within My Virgin Media, having logged in, I receive "your mailbox is not available at the moment"

  • PandaAkagi AkagiPanda 🐼 PNG VTuber 🤍 (@PandaAkagi) reported

@virginmedia (2/2) I changed the password regardless, which as expected, made no difference. The last time this happened I tried calling customer support and unfortunately they were beyond useless as usual. A quick search tells me plenty of other people are having the same issue today.

  • sadelta99 Andy (@sadelta99) reported

@virginmedia 3 times in two weeks after no issues ever with the address? And the issue is you send an email about it to the account that I can’t access due to you locking it - doh. As my device is an iPhone it doesn’t run anti virus and I’ve now changed pass three times

  • blairjoyce3 JoycieB (@blairjoyce3) reported

@O2 At that point it asks me to sign up to Virgin Media (desire already being a long standing customer)
