Hi @virginmedia you did an update in my area for wifi yesterday. And my wifi hasn’t worked since. I have switched on and off a few times since and also retried to reinstall. I moved from sky a month ago to you due to wifi issues and I have them with you already.

  • AndyBarr79

@virginmedia I can't sign in as I no longer hold an account, your CS don't care and obviously fobbing me off and not raising complaints as requested, I will just pursue via FCA and/or trading standards.

@virginmedia Thanks. Done that. Multiple times. And over the last 6 months. And when I was an ntl: customer. And CableTel before that. 27 years of 56k > 350Mb and now it’s totally doing my head in. Unable to work from home properly. Boss won’t be happy!

  • PaulAllen007

Brilliant news. The worst of the worst. Moved house, no virgin media at new property and they would not cancel the contract. @virginmedia never use these con artists.

  • mitzpatel85
    Mitesh Patel (@mitzpatel85) reported

@Channel4News Don’t think £28m justifies their actions.. if they were deliberately putting customers on hold and dropping call while they tried to cancel, the fine should be £1bn - absolutely pathetic from Virgin Media

  • growlers6
    Glen SWFC B (@growlers6) reported

    @virginmedia is the website down?

  • Ailsa56202286
    Ailsa (@Ailsa56202286) reported

(Part 4/4) Meanwhile, I was receiving constant calls demanding payment and threatening late payment charges. No customer should have to fight this hard just to leave a broadband contract. SHAME ON YOU, @VirginMedia.

  • DevilHatman
    Hatz (@DevilHatman) reported

@virginmedia The hilarious part... your complaints team sends me an email saying we agreed a resolution and closed it. We have abso-*******-lutely not agreed a resolution. I haven't even been able to speak to anyone yet and nobody has replied to response. @Ofcom

  • Prodgey
    Lyn Prodger (she/her) (@Prodgey) reported

@virginmedia I’ve just sent you yet another DM. Same one I’ve sent countless times with no resolution or response.

  • cherry_ugh
    Cherry Von Boom (@cherry_ugh) reported

@virginmedia @O2 Day 14 of not having a working phone, of having 3 counts of fraud on my account, on having people STILL trying to hack your login page, of getting no help, and my gods, I can see why you’ve been fined 28 million. And the transphobic complaints team? Chefs kiss.

  • maegdi
    magdi abdelhadi (@maegdi) reported

  • PaulWatters2
X Odus to Bluesky. (@PaulWatters2) reported

@virginmedia are an absolute ******* awful company to try a deal with. Not a ******* clue about customer service. It's all about keeping you in contract. Bring back Telewest.

  • kesbyac
    Adrian Kesby (@kesbyac) reported

@O2 I just want to change tariff to 10GB plan. I’m with Virgin Media so that becomes 20GB which is perfectly adequate. Sim Onlys are circa £15 which is fine but was told in store that I can’t port my number on the same network!
