@virginmedia This is false advertising. My broadband goes off more than it’s on and then it is so slow. I have lost count on the times I have called the help line. I have rebooted routinely, it works for a while then off again. I have had enough now as enough is enough!!!

@virginmedia Still cutting in and out as it has been for many weeks… no local area issues listed anywhere. Have been trying to get ahold of someone for weeks now but just keeps looping in the app, really frustrating

@virginmedia Brilliant get out clause @virginmedia. What you fail to realise is that when your so called service goes down for hours at a time, over the course of time amounts to so, so so much more than 48 hours!! Roll on switching of providers.

@virginmedia Sorted now. Received an envelope last week with an adaptor. A leaflet inside stated we would receive an email when to change it. No such email received. Communication very poor

Hi @virginmedia. I’ve tried phoning you with a complaint, but the calls get shunted into weblink hell. I’ve submitted two complaints through your site which have mysteriously disappeared from my account. And on Twitter the links you send for an online chat only ever lead …

Hi @virginmedia you did an update in my area for wifi yesterday. And my wifi hasn’t worked since. I have switched on and off a few times since and also retried to reinstall. I moved from sky a month ago to you due to wifi issues and I have them with you already.

Hi @virginmedia, I’ve spent more than an hour on the phone to your advisors this morning and am getting nowhere. I have therefore now decided I would like to cancel my contract (I am within cooling-off period). Would I still be considered a ‘new’ customer if I find a new deal?

@virginmedia Still no service. Your website tells me service is fine. Over the phone the automated message is “an intermittent service” and when I finally spoke with someone they’ve organised a technician to visit next TUESDAY. It’s a mess.

@virginmedia have had intermittent issues for over a month now, every time I go down the route of reporting the issue it just says wait 24 hours. How can I speak to someone about this as the phone number never gets me to a person?

@virginmedia @Miss_SKM That is correct. What it does not cover is the persistent loss of service since August!!! #se7. Nor does it cover the absolute woeful customer services, and I use that phrase lightly, which @virginmedia is able to offer.

Useless service from @virginmedia called 2 discuss package options on hold for ages the agent says he was trying to help them puts me on hold then put the phone down. If their customer service is like that I think I’ll try give someone else a go @skytv can you do better?

Huge congrats to @virginmedia for having a web chat service that is so bad that I joined the chat to upgrade my broadband, but after waiting for an eternity for replies I’m pretty much ready to just close my account

A combination of @OpenreachHelp‘s incompetence by cutting through the internet cable outside my house and @virginmedia no showing for an engineering visit to fix it has me having to run my business through my phone hotspot until Friday. That’s if they show up, of course.

@scribblercat @virginmedia The frequency of posts like this is why I'll never leave BT. IME, they're reliable and I care about that far more than speed, price, etc.

@virginmedia You didn’t reach out sadly and I’ve now cancelled the installation. Having spoken to someone clearly at home with her baby screaming in the background I have zero confidence that you are able to help us.

@virginmedia you have now postponed an installation scheduled for 4th November to Christmas Eve! Can’t see that happening. Maybe someone actually based in the UK might bother to contact me about this? Minded to cancel otherwise. Not acceptable service.

Not a great start by @virginhelp @virginmedia Engineer doesn't turn up and now 90mins and waiting on hold to find out what the issue is. Annoying we had to leave @skytv because of their broadband speed in the new house.

@virginmedia is there an issue with service in areas of Northants? My parents (and others in the village) haven’t had signal for three days now in Geddington and struggling to get information from customer service.
-

@virginmedia I have more information: we started the VirginMedia service in September/October (the previous tenants bought their own internet); it was a self-install. What do we do now given you have no dm facility? How does this usually end? Telepathy?

@virginmedia broadband not working AGAIN. Can't join a work meeting. Still waiting for someone to get back to me 23hrs after my original text enquiry, despite you saying it would take a maximum of 4 hours. You are the worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with
