RICHARD GRIFFITHS (@Griffo2018) reported from Spelthorne District, England@virginmedia I have been a customer for over 10 years, left for 7 days now with out broadband & home phone. I am being push from pillar to post with reasons.A engineer was meant to be with me from 4pm onwards to now be told no one can come. Shocking service / long term customer.😡
-
Paul Austin (@BagshotTwit) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia I upgraded to the Ultimate Oomph package in Jan but still waiting for the order to be completed. I’ve contacted customer services on numerous times but no success, I’ve also raised a complaint. How do I actually get some help to complete the order?
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England‘ere, @VirginMedia, it’s been a full month now of totally unreliable service at my house; 5 engineers later, with the last call to 0345 454 111 on Friday saying you KNOW there’s a problem and it WILL be fixed in 24 hours. I called bullshit. I was right. Sort this out!!!
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia Nope. There’s “nothing wrong” with the broadband according to the status page. Never is. It’s always the hub supposedly downloading updates. 10 weeks of this now, getting a bit bored of the lack of service TBH. This needs to be escalated.
-
Bowlesy (@Chateauneuf64) reported from Wokingham, England@virginmedia And there you have the extent of VM customer care folks!
-
itsnotOK (@itsnotO56763609) reported from Spelthorne District, England@virginmedia Why do you make it impossible to downgrade packages? Choosing "change package" only allowed was upgrade. Talk to customer service, they say they're only allowed to upgrade. Is the only possible to reduce package by cancelling?
-
Kelvyn Taylor (@Vibroseis) reported from Egham, EnglandVirgin Media is down, so guess I’ll have to spend my leave reading books and playing guitar.
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia Thanks. Done that. Multiple times. And over the last 6 months. And when I was an ntl: customer. And CableTel before that. 27 years of 56k > 350Mb and now it’s totally doing my head in. Unable to work from home properly. Boss won’t be happy!
-
Johno (@Levellers66) reported from Spelthorne District, England@virginmedia 42 days without TV so talking to cancellations as VM aren't even offering to try and fix the problem before 20th Nov. Leaving after nearly 10 years. Feels like a good win for VM, clock stops on compensation, penalised as under contract and you don't have to fix the problem 😒
-
Nick Batch (@WashedBatch) reported from Guildford, EnglandDoes anyone know a broadband provider which does same day setup Or fast setup? Virgin media keep letting me down with it and have useless support…
-
stevemason (@EssarrMason) reported from Aldershot, England@virginmedia Inadequate reply, to my mind, you contracted to supply a service, you cannot deliver that service, uou terminated the contract....perhaps YOU shoukd pay the cancellation fee!
-
Craig Hannan (@CraigHannan4) reported from Ash, England@virginmedia Yes. And there customer service email. I also tried the contact number. But not accepting calls. Surely this should be automatically credited to me. I shouldn’t have to chase it. Sent loads of emails over the last few weeks now. I’ve just been ignored.
-
_jarl_ostensen (@psjarlo) reported from Guildford, EnglandSince so many of us are working from home it would be nice if network maintenance could be done over night, to minimise disruption...@virginmedia
-
Katie Girdler (@KGirdler) reported from Guildford, England@virginmedia brand new customer coming from sky (after bad service) and received awful customer service from you! I certainly will not be recommending virgin media.

-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@SinghT2j @virginmedia It’s been down a good 3 days in the last 14 here. Otherwise it’s either slow or randomly intermittent. They really need to sort their network out, it was never this bad until 2 weeks ago.
-
Andy Routledge (@drewalmighty) reported from Egham, EnglandHey, @virginmedia, your customer service is abysmal. After being told you can’t install an internet connection until end of the month at my fiancé and I’s new address, you then hang up on us three times when we try to cancel our subscription. Feels like you’re running a scam.
-
Craig Hannan (@CraigHannan4) reported from Ash, EnglandHi @virginmedia you did an update in my area for wifi yesterday. And my wifi hasn’t worked since. I have switched on and off a few times since and also retried to reinstall. I moved from sky a month ago to you due to wifi issues and I have them with you already.

S.U (@SU__Crypto) reported@HayekAndChips @virginmedia @MartinSLewis Can never sign in also to Virgin. Absolute BS. Same ordeal I had. £70 package, contract finished, £230 it went to. Cancelled. Then got it for £72.
-
Face palm Vengance (@IsTheTruthToxic) reported@virginmedia Yes it does and it’s a bad system. Your tortuous phone tree system makes talking to the right people very difficult, having to phone for the best deal instead of being offered it by daily is predatory and unnecessary, you know the problems so fix them
-
Gaz (@yerwhit) reported@EpicLastSong @virginmedia My virgin Internet signal dropped out all the time, after being told to restart several times, I bought a tp-link router and used the virgin one as a modem, no problem after that.
