Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Farnham, England
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Farnham and nearby locations:
-
John Neilson (@flyingjok) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia Worst part of it @virginmedia is the way your customer service team speaks to customers. Quite appalling and in my experience always approached on basis that the customer is wrong. It consistently bad - to be told you don’t send texts when I clearly had two texts quite insulting!
-
PaulineAyres-S/W (@paulineayres) reported from Blackwater, England@virginmedia Have to wait until Monday until an engineer can come out to fix whatever the problem is, I have never ever had a good connection, made many complaints but this is the worse ever. Intermittence connections causing me to need another @SlimmingWorld consultant to cover my groups 💔
-
CM40 (@CM40UK) reported from Blackwater, England@MoneySavingExp How about they just deliver consistent service? I am leaving Virginmedia and they are making it hard, there rules state if I don’t get the speeds promised they I can leave without penalties, I’ve had 7 times where I have connection in the last 3 days! @virginmedia @richardbranson
-
Wakeford Fireplaces (@WakeFireplaces) reported from Flexford, EnglandHow do we resolve our internet problems if there’s no one at Virgin Media who’s willing to help, or speak with us??... please sort it out before our router finds a new home in the recycling bin.... @virginmedia why does it have to revert to shouting out loud on social media?...
-
CM40 (@CM40UK) reported from Blackwater, England@virginmedia My cancellation date is already set 11th Nov 2022, as I have to give 30 days notice. You lost my business yesterday after one of your CS decided to try and change my package to make it cheaper thinking that would sort problem, he wasn’t listening to complaint!
-
PaulineAyres-S/W (@paulineayres) reported from Blackwater, EnglandOmg @virginmedia the worse service you could possible get 😡
-
John Neilson (@flyingjok) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia hey there - lost all connectivity at home suddenly this morning and can’t get through to any of your helpline numbers. Is there problem in GU15 3HY area. Can’t understand why 150 and external numbers are either not connecting or just showing as constantly unavailable
-
Daniel Saunders (@danjsaunders) reported from Guildford, England@virginmedia Yes this was one of the first things we tried. Ended up having a repull after two engineer visits, but still not fixed the issue. How about trying a new hub?
-
John Neilson (@flyingjok) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia Your web site is not very helpful really - apparently the fault will be rectified by 08.40 this morning. Understand technical problems arise but it’s surely much better to provide proactive updates rather than to react in receipt of complaints?
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, EnglandDear @VirginMedia, are there problems in the GU14 area? Because the reliability of broadband here has been appalling since at least Thursday/Friday. You really need to sort it out, I have to WFH and my daughter needs to connect with her school.
-
amy james. (@AmyJ1996) reported from Farnborough, EnglandRight who has virgin media tv someone help us
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia Nope. There’s “nothing wrong” with the broadband according to the status page. Never is. It’s always the hub supposedly downloading updates. 10 weeks of this now, getting a bit bored of the lack of service TBH. This needs to be escalated.
-
Craig Hannan (@CraigHannan4) reported from Ash, England@virginmedia Yes. And there customer service email. I also tried the contact number. But not accepting calls. Surely this should be automatically credited to me. I shouldn’t have to chase it. Sent loads of emails over the last few weeks now. I’ve just been ignored.
-
Craig Hannan (@CraigHannan4) reported from Tongham, England@virginmedia Awful customer service. And it is virgins fault. They offer the referral offer. Not the 3rd party company.
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@Firesnapper999 @virginmedia It’s really frustrating; the third technician was brilliant, replaced everything almost like a new install and it worked great for just over a week. Now the status site says everything is good whilst a call to support says it isn’t. #Grrr
-
JOHN WEST ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (@westy_1966) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia why is your internet service so poor.3rd day of the week and already this week I’ve had issues for two days#stayconnected
-
Martyn Jones (@TheonlyJonesy) reported from Fleet, England@virginmedia don’t worry about supplying a service that I can use to work from home, I’d much rather leave the house in a pandemic to access stable broadband...!!!
-
Matt Rose (@mattrose18) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia Wired and yes. Seems to have stabilised for the time being. Hopefully no more issues
-
janet arias-ball (@jjjjxxx) reported from Guildford, England@virginmedia time to leave, you’re staff are wonderful individuals that spend hours trying to help your customers but at the end of the day you don’t care about your customers. Wonder what other providers are going to step in and help?
-
Lucy Spalton (@lucy_spalton) reported from Fleet, England@virginmedia Has everything gone down in Fleet? GU51

Andy W (@AndrewW12290183) reported@virginmedia Why did You take £90 out of my account in case I don't send the equipment back ? Thing is I'm still waiting for the returns package from you. Or is another ploy to take more money like when you signed me up for a TV subscription I never asked for.
-
entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported@miaKJKJ22 @Gary1165 @virginmedia Yes, agreed, it's usually well known about general outages. Annoying though when they say it's all fixed in your area and the service checker says all OK at you property when it clearly isn't 😬
-
NJS (@NJS0580) reported@virginmedia Any idea when the broadband issue will be fixed in my area ? Teesside . It’s been slow for a good few weeks . Finally the service status page shows there is an issue ,the estimated fix date keeps changing. My internet is now working intermittently.
-
BK (@red_bk13) reported@entrustTMF @virginmedia Terrible situation for that long. I'm looking at a voda offer at the mo for switching from virgin when my deal expires. They offer a router with 4g back up. It's weather your can get decent speeds where you are that matters.
-
Stuart Aird (@StuartA17243) reported@virginmedia After 30 years or so with #virginmedia (telewest days) the price hike as an existing customer has finally pushed me to switch £41 for 250meg todays special renewal price after an offer of £40 on the phone yesterday. Double speed is £27 with sky broadband.
-
El Guapo (@ElliotJackson11) reportedVirgin media being down for like 3 hours Jesus Christ!
-
Stephanie 🇬🇧 (@stephiejmc) reported@virginmedia Ok thanks just worried cause like see what I pay in front be ne cause can’t access your online service account . Plus just worried going under contract after 10 + years and we all know virgin widely known for fudging up on things .
-
Jools (@Jools_Orca) reported@lsrlinda I’m pretty sure many have struggled with very poor English or a similarly strong accent. My neighbour is hard of hearing and swapped Virgin Media for BT due to such struggles.
-
Roger Green (@RogerGreen2009) reported@entrustTMF @virginmedia I got a ‘3’5g router that pulls down the 5g signal, it was as fast as my Virgin Media 200+gbps and more reliable. £25/month. If you’ve no 5g coverage starlink is offering £35 a month.
