-
Julian Hull (@JulianHull) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia what’s happened to our internet?? I’m in GU14 trying to work from home. The last 2 weeks we’ve either had no internet or very very slow. Ran speed checks, used to be over 100, now it’s mostly around 6-15 and we are paying for 100
-
GeraldineMcCambridge (@gerimcc) reported from Aldershot, England@virginmedia I am having problems with my mobile. I can make calls but can not send texts or access the Internet unless I use WiFi. Texts do not go through
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia Called yesterday PM: engineer tested the line, said there were network issues despite status page saying to the contrary. Was told you were fixing the issue but today is day 15 and no BB since ~15:30 yesterday. I have to go to the office, no choice. Poor/no BB = risk my health 🙁
-
Rob McEwan (@robmcewan1966) reported from Finchampstead, England@virginmedia Truly astounding. I have spent hours trying to get virgin to actually carry out promises made and we’re still not there. I’ll swear the customer services reps I speak to are under so much pressure to move on to the next call they make it up as they go.
-
Matt Rose (@mattrose18) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia TV is an issue. broadband is not. Tests are always either cannot connect at this time or say there is nothing wrong. Don’t see how my kit in the house can one minute have speeds on +300Mb to next to nothing?
-
John Neilson (@flyingjok) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia Worst part of it @virginmedia is the way your customer service team speaks to customers. Quite appalling and in my experience always approached on basis that the customer is wrong. It consistently bad - to be told you don’t send texts when I clearly had two texts quite insulting!
-
Kirsty Nunn (@kirstyrosenunn) reported from Guildford, EnglandHey @virginmedia @virginhelp can you have a look at your wifi service in the Guildford area? It’s been patchy for weeks, now have had no connection on any device for the past 24 hours; as someone who works and studies from home a lot, this is quite worrying and frustrating
-
Paul Austin (@BagshotTwit) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia I upgraded to the Ultimate Oomph package in Jan but still waiting for the order to be completed. I’ve contacted customer services on numerous times but no success, I’ve also raised a complaint. How do I actually get some help to complete the order?

-
Mitch Manning 💜💙🦁🇺🇦 (@MitchM77) reported from Farnham, England@virginmedia it’s gone past the estimated 6.50pm that my internet would be up and running after 2 days of no internet. It’s still not working and you haven’t sent an update! Why is it taking so long? I want a refund!!!!!

-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@Firesnapper999 @virginmedia It’s really frustrating; the third technician was brilliant, replaced everything almost like a new install and it worked great for just over a week. Now the status site says everything is good whilst a call to support says it isn’t. #Grrr
-
Marti Jerrard - K74 (@K74Marti) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia I have followed every instruction as advised. Turned off, set, check status and even network issue in area.. it just keeps dropping out daily with no know issues. It’s as if faster broadband has actually slowed it all down! Pse sort it out
-
DimiD (@DimiD35089880) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia Promised date someone to sort external connections come and gone and still same s*****. Can’t believe 4 weeks and nobody can’t fix it. 🤔I think something is fishy @virginmedia get it sorted

Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia Hi, yep. It’s been poor for over 4 days and non-existent for nearly 36 hours. Yes, I’ve checked BB status, it’s supposedly OK, yes I’ve rebooted, yes I’ve factory reset, multiple times. Still no BB. Still have to go to office, no choice unfortunately. No BB = Big health risk🙁
-
John Neilson (@flyingjok) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia Still no landline service to home and neighbour similarly. It’s been close on 24hrs - pretty irritated that there is no information coming proactively from your team to be honest but appreciate the social team’s responsiveness to my contact
-
Becky Morrish (@BeckyMorrish13) reported from Camberley, EnglandUseless service from @virginmedia called 2 discuss package options on hold for ages the agent says he was trying to help them puts me on hold then put the phone down. Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
George W (@Fraudly_) reported@virginmedia your online service is an absolute joke. You notify me of new monthly fee starting in May and I need to look at other packages if I want to change before new price takes effect. Only for your site to be riddled with errors and your bot to give me a broken link! With that link switching between error message and taking me right back to that same chat! And I shouldn't need to go round in circles chatting about an upgrade, much easier just doing it myself on your site. If it actually worked.
-
rssconsultant (@rssconsultant) reported@virginmedia your customer service agents on chat are utter crap. Taking 5 mins to reply to every response. Incompetent!
-
Joshua Oliver (@ashlet87) reportedTired of paying for multiple subscriptions like Sky, BT Sport, Virgin Media, Now TV, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV+? I have got the solution. This IPTV @8k_PRO_IPTV07 offers: • 300,000+ live channels • 65,000+ VODs • PPV events • Netflix • 78,000+ movies
-
Dippy | Brig Content Creator (@Itsdippylive) reportedHey @virginmedia. Honour what your own self-service flow committed to when you took my £111. Build the written-channel route to Payments your Resolutions Team has admitted is needed. Default it in payment SMS for every customer.
-
Chib Ma Nib (@chibmanib) reported@virginmedia Gonna have to call cos the service checker doesn't help at all
-
Cristoir Toibin (@christobinsings) reported@virginmedia absolute shambles of a service today, missed the football and now no Internet again for the last hour. Happy to send me 4 messages to say you've fixed "the issue" Time to move to another provider.
-
David Richards (@DWRICHARDS) reported@virginmedia Thanks so much. Who should I ask for?! Current promise via Chat is a chq within 30 days. The problem with contacting Virgin Media by phone or online when you are a former customer chasing a refund is that it is difficult to get past your security checking if it's an old a/c.
-
Pete Samuels (@PeteSamuels5) reportedOver 24 hours, not a whisper, not a reply, no fix.@LittleBigSnake is this the image you wish to portray? @virginmedia - same for you, but what did I seriously expect. come on you two, get off your arses, send a few emails & earn your keep!
-
i aint know **** bout crypto (@SirazBhaii) reported@DenniGlaves @pokemondealsuk This is 100% the issue. Ive tested it. I recently switched WiFi providers from Virgin Media to Grain Connect which is 1 of the newer FTTP providers that have been rolling out true fibre across the UK. Now im getting this message everytime.
-
Nicholas Rawlings (@nick_rawlings2) reported@virginmedia #virginmedia are there any issues in the Orpington area? Broadband keeps dropping out. There's nothing on your status page.
