How do we resolve our internet problems if there’s no one at Virgin Media who’s willing to help, or speak with us??... please sort it out before our router finds a new home in the recycling bin.... @virginmedia why does it have to revert to shouting out loud on social media?...

  • pmross
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England

@sniveldirk @virginmedia Also it’s not reliable broadband. I’m suffering day 15 of anything but the 350MB connection I paid for. Right now it’s dead again. The lack of service forced me to have to work from an office today (again!) How unsafe is that?

  • KirstyMac712
Kirsty MacDiarmid (@KirstyMac712) reported from Fleet, England

Hi @virginmedia really hard to work from home when the wifi keeps cutting out. We’ve not had a connection since 10.30 last night. Please help.

  • CraigHannan4
Craig Hannan (@CraigHannan4) reported from Ash, England

Hi @virginmedia you did an update in my area for wifi yesterday. And my wifi hasn’t worked since. I have switched on and off a few times since and also retried to reinstall. I moved from sky a month ago to you due to wifi issues and I have them with you already.

  • flyingjok
John Neilson (@flyingjok) reported from Camberley, England

@ralphyallen @virginmedia Let’s see how long it takes @virginmedia to respond or put something out proactively. I’m trying to call the 0345 customer service number as well as 150 but having no joy getting through.

  • psjarlo
_jarl_ostensen (@psjarlo) reported from Guildford, England

@virginmedia Service status is all green, which is wrong because there is known maintenance work happening. My point is that planned work should happen over night to reduce impact.

  • stu_ziss
Stuart Zissman (@stu_ziss) reported from Fairlands, England

@virginmedia So, after more than 25 years of Cabletel, NTL and now VM I have given up and am moving to Sky. VM customer service non existent, online support shocking and now I find I have to write a letter and post it to even cancel my contract. Feels like I’m back in the 80s

  • sturooo
Stuart Ross (@sturooo) reported from Guildford, England

@virginmedia really loved spending almost an hour and a half on the phone to get cut off and the promised call back if that happened not happening. I just want to cancel my contract

  • elburgo
john clark (@elburgo) reported from Liss, England

@SophieEB We gave up on #virginmedia very poor service

  • psjarlo
_jarl_ostensen (@psjarlo) reported from Guildford, England

Since so many of us are working from home it would be nice if network maintenance could be done over night, to minimise disruption...@virginmedia

  • pmross
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England

Aargh. @VirginMedia broadband is down again, 20 mins here in GU14. That’s 13 days of poor service. I’m trying to WFH and daughter’s trying to do her homework online. This is infuriating.

  • JulianHull

@virginmedia Help Please! Just been given incorrect advice from 4xoverseas tech support. Initial issue was an error code & “black listed IP server” that stopped desktop emails from working. Any advice as advice now cancelled iPhone email. TIA

  • DWRICHARDS
    David Richards (@DWRICHARDS) reported

@virginmedia Thank you. I look forward to doing so after the current period of 30 days (in which to issue a replacement cheque) has expired and when I will need to renew my attempts at scaling your high security battlements!

  • AlexMacLeod9
    Alex MacLeod 🌻 (@AlexMacLeod9) reported

@spudbishop666 @virginmedia I was a VM customer for 30 odd years but ditched them recently because of price and customer service. Last price hike took me package to £235 a month. Now with EE at £86 a month for similar TV and broadband package but no landline phone which we didn't use anyway.

  • AndrewW12290183
    Andy W (@AndrewW12290183) reported

@virginmedia Why did You take £90 out of my account in case I don't send the equipment back ? Thing is I'm still waiting for the returns package from you. Or is another ploy to take more money like when you signed me up for a TV subscription I never asked for.

  • tariqm786
    Tariq Mahmood (@tariqm786) reported

@virginmedia No.. I called at 14.35 and was told I’ll be sent a text message once fixed as there is an issue in the area.

  • newname3321
    newname3321 (@newname3321) reported

@virginmedia first day on your services no TV on my stream boxes told 4 hours ago they can guarantee it will be back on with the next 2 still nothing, tempted to cancel and tell sky I'm staying put

  • saoirseisla
    Isla (@saoirseisla) reported

My fave thing about @virginmedia is nothing. No WiFi for 4 days. No WiFi = no tv. Been fobbed off for days. Each day promising it’ll fixed by the end of the day. Only to turn around today and say only an engineer coming to the house can fix it. I want out of this contract.

  • entrustTMF
    entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported

@karenwi17092279 Sorry to hear that, not good 😔 Yes, we rely on these things more than we realise... I had forgotten the printer, the TV box, my Spotify, heating controller, etc. all use the WiFi and workarounds for all of them need to be fashioned or just abandoned until @virginmedia fix it
