Kirsty Nunn (@kirstyrosenunn) reported from Guildford, EnglandHey @virginmedia @virginhelp can you have a look at your wifi service in the Guildford area? It’s been patchy for weeks, now have had no connection on any device for the past 24 hours; as someone who works and studies from home a lot, this is quite worrying and frustrating

stevemason (@EssarrMason) reported from Aldershot, England@virginmedia Inadequate reply, to my mind, you contracted to supply a service, you cannot deliver that service, uou terminated the contract....perhaps YOU shoukd pay the cancellation fee!
-
CM40 (@CM40UK) reported from Blackwater, England@virginmedia My cancellation date is already set 11th Nov 2022, as I have to give 30 days notice. You lost my business yesterday after one of your CS decided to try and change my package to make it cheaper thinking that would sort problem, he wasn’t listening to complaint!
-
Dean (@deanocranfield) reported from Witley, England@virginmedia I need to cancel one of the mobiles contracts I have with you, it’s a phone my father used, but has had to go into care so won’t be needing it. Can’t get through by phone
-
GoldyMcGoldface (@Goldy73) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia The fact you have even done it without telling anyone is a shocking customer service move, especially in this day and age where a lot of people are working from home. Absolutely disgusting service I don't care how long it will take, I need to know of you plan to take it down so
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia Hi AR, I was given no time at all, only that there were ongoing issues the last two weeks then he said 7-10 days. He said you were working on it, it would be fixed but no timescale. 15 days of unreliable BB is awful. Have had 100% outages of up to 36 hours.
-
CM40 (@CM40UK) reported from Blackwater, England@MoneySavingExp How about they just deliver consistent service? I am leaving Virginmedia and they are making it hard, there rules state if I don’t get the speeds promised they I can leave without penalties, I’ve had 7 times where I have connection in the last 3 days! @virginmedia @richardbranson
-
Daniel Evans (@ChavdogEvans) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia my wifi seem to keep dropping out is there issues with it at the moment
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@sniveldirk @virginmedia Also it’s not reliable broadband. I’m suffering day 15 of anything but the 350MB connection I paid for. Right now it’s dead again. The lack of service forced me to have to work from an office today (again!) How unsafe is that?
-
John Neilson (@flyingjok) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia Your web site is not very helpful really - apparently the fault will be rectified by 08.40 this morning. Understand technical problems arise but it’s surely much better to provide proactive updates rather than to react in receipt of complaints?
-
GeraldineMcCambridge (@gerimcc) reported from Aldershot, England@virginmedia I just paid my bill on the phone. Via automated service. Its taken pmt. Now on hold for 35 minutes.. Don't even know why.. Any answers

VM customer service non existent, online support shocking and now I find I have to write a letter and post it to even cancel my contract. Feels like I’m back in the 80s
-
TGP (@terrygparrott) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia Broadband in GU14 is up and down like a "****** draws". I pay for 350 Mbps but am getting much less than that. I've rebooted and reset my Hub 3, please sort it out!

Alyson Leitch (@Geordiesbird) reported from Woking, England@virginmedia hi virgin.. my TV is showing error codes c217 and c230. I have turned everything off and reset modem and tivo boxes 5 times and more and still no Internet. Its my husbands account but he's away till Thursday. Help please
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia Yep. Wired isn’t working either. I have no broadband, no WiFi, no service. Been like this since Saturday and intermittent since Jan/Feb.
-
MissB (@M_Coneley) reported from Fernhurst, England@virginmedia No it’s not an end of contract discount being removed, worrying if it was since the increase is just £4., it’s for investing in service improvement. The point I was making, which seems to have been missed, is the current service keeps failing & def not close to 99% reliable
-
James McFadden 🎮 (@McFadden1985) reported from Camberley, EnglandMy @virginmedia has completely gone down. On a Friday night & good Friday of all days. TV is completely blank 😣

-
michael albertina (@scoggs70) reported@virginmedia If I don't it will never be resolved, so please do. As I am missing services I can only presume I will be refunded an acceptable amount for my inconvenience? I still await my refund from December when I was without service for 5 days?
-
Lol B (@enquiriesdesk) reported@Benleo Virgin Media are honestly useless. Hours and hours wasted on the phone over the years, nothing ever fixed. Staff seem completely incompetent. At one point I was so stressed I thought I was having a heart attack. Shocking service.
-
Suz (@scoobiesue82) reported@virginmedia It is default to audio descriptive so I change it to Original Dolby Audio both via the context (…) and pressing down and along to audio & subtitles but it’s not changing anything even though it appears to select what I want
-
D (@idczn) reportedThe only contract I ever signed with Virgin Media was in 2018, and it continues to this day. I have never changed or upgraded it; I only occasionally tried to report home network connection issues. It turns out that in November 2024, a two-year contract was accepted, which I only found out about in 2025 when I wanted to cancel their services. I couldn't leave them XD However, checking who did this on my behalf and when (because it certainly wasn't me) was impossible, as I had no way to log into my Virgin account Now I cansee- the accepted contract has different number? There is no any signature of mine- and information that was sent to e-mail: back then controlled by hacker
-
Gill 🇬🇧 🏴 🩵 (@GillGRobs) reported@virginmedia Ive had 5 complaints in with you, 3 have only ever been looked at and all i get is , " we'll make sure things are done differently " yet never are. So no thanks ive had more than enough of your excuses I'll do what Ben is doing and go to the ombudsman. You really are terrible
-
Michael (@MICKLE_M) reported@virginmedia could you please supply me with a contact number please. You are telling me I have to upgrade to anew box , however when I sp yourself 2 remote controls rather than 2 boxes. Your app is ridiculously poor. Give me a number please
-
Frantruth 🏴 🇬🇧 (@frantruth) reported@Benleo Trouble is, Virgin Media isn't British owned. Regardless, it should be written into law that if you provide telecommunications to British customers, the call centre serving sales and customer service must be based in Britain.
-
jamie (@JMRGBY_) reported@MICHAELEMERS0N @virginmedia It’s pathetic. What could have happened to warrant approximately 8 days before a fix can happen??
-
Pete Carroll (@pcarrollmusic1) reported@virginmedia Absolutely despicable. My elderly parents had problems too when they first signed up to them, then they had to navigate their call centre speak from India to resolve it. They're not that good and don't care
-
Carrie (@IamCarrieagain) reportedSo, it appears that @virginmedia has cut off my Internet as threatened. My crime? I haven't had the time or energy to set up a new router they delivered last Friday. One they insisted on even though the current one works. I'm paying for a service they've decided to end
