@virginmedia Service status is all green, which is wrong because there is known maintenance work happening. My point is that planned work should happen over night to reduce impact.

@virginmedia Thanks. Done that. Multiple times. And over the last 6 months. And when I was an ntl: customer. And CableTel before that. 27 years of 56k > 350Mb and now it’s totally doing my head in. Unable to work from home properly. Boss won’t be happy!

Dear @VirginMedia, after 3x visits from technicians over 6 months (one of whom LIED about fixing bb/WiFi) I’m now back to no service (48 hours). Yes, tried rebooting, off/on etc, status says everything OK, Called yesterday and there IS an issue. When are you going to fix it?

Since so many of us are working from home it would be nice if network maintenance could be done over night, to minimise disruption...@virginmedia

@Firesnapper999 @virginmedia It’s really frustrating; the third technician was brilliant, replaced everything almost like a new install and it worked great for just over a week. Now the status site says everything is good whilst a call to support says it isn’t. #Grrr

@virginmedia Nope. There’s “nothing wrong” with the broadband according to the status page. Never is. It’s always the hub supposedly downloading updates. 10 weeks of this now, getting a bit bored of the lack of service TBH. This needs to be escalated.

@virginmedia my broadband is running at 10mbps (supposed to be 200). The app has done a "scan" and it says there is a network error and check back in 24 hours. Problem is, it's still slow three days later and there appears to be no more help on offer. Now what?

‘ere, @VirginMedia, it’s been a full month now of totally unreliable service at my house; 5 engineers later, with the last call to 0345 454 111 on Friday saying you KNOW there’s a problem and it WILL be fixed in 24 hours. I called bullshit. I was right. Sort this out!!!

@virginmedia The fact you have even done it without telling anyone is a shocking customer service move, especially in this day and age where a lot of people are working from home. Absolutely disgusting service I don't care how long it will take, I need to know of you plan to take it down so

@virginmedia so, I've been trying for over 3 hours now to cancel my contract and absolutely no progress made so far!!! 3 hours. Surely this is a breach of ofcoms rules to make cancellation a reasonably quick and easy process!?

@virginmedia Then plan better. And allow customers to cancel plans or reduce plans online. You can increase a plan online but cannot reduce it. Why ? Then we don't need to ring as much in the first place

@virginmedia Finally made contact via your WhatsApp service after 48hrs. Very disappointing that request to cancel met 5 times by pleas to stay and wanting to make offers. Only when I said I felt harassed and may have to report to @Ofcom did it finally stop. Counting down the 30 days now.

@Hellosmee1 @virginmedia A tactic in the hope some customers will forget to call to cancel or give up waiting on hold to cancel. If you have a technical fault how do you know to tell customers to call after4pm. Ironically managed to get an agent & they didnt have any issues pulling my account

@virginmedia So I was hounded by Virgin because I was late with a payment. Threatened with my services being turned off. So I pay and put in a COMPLAINT about the fact that for months I wasn't getting the speed I was paying for. Over a month gone by and no reply. Standard Virgin.
