He said you were working on it, it would be fixed but no timescale. 15 days of unreliable BB is awful. Have had 100% outages of up to 36 hours.
-
Craig Hannan (@CraigHannan4) reported from Tongham, England@virginmedia Awful customer service. And it is virgins fault. They offer the referral offer. Not the 3rd party company.

It’s been patchy for weeks, now have had no connection on any device for the past 24 hours; as someone who works and studies from home a lot, this is quite worrying and frustrating
-
Kirsty MacDiarmid (@KirstyMac712) reported from Fleet, EnglandHi @virginmedia really hard to work from home when the wifi keeps cutting out. We’ve not had a connection since 10.30 last night. Please help.
-
MissB (@M_Coneley) reported from Fernhurst, England@virginmedia No it’s not an end of contract discount being removed, worrying if it was since the increase is just £4., it’s for investing in service improvement. The point I was making, which seems to have been missed, is the current service keeps failing & def not close to 99% reliable
-
Marti Jerrard - K74 (@K74Marti) reported from Farnborough, EnglandEveryday this week and again today @virginmedia has stopped working… constant resets and in some cases down for 3-4 hrs at a time which is preventing work, training, education & entertainment! Come on #Virgin sort your reliability out pse
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@Binky_2301 @virginmedia The service was pretty reliable until now 19 days ago. Their status tool says no issues yet an engineer told me there were. And that they were fixing it. Been watching Twitter and it’s been an issue with folks all over the country.
-
Gary Murphy (@GaryMur52215667) reported from Farnham, EnglandI’ve had to write this as I think the virgin media wireless hub is rubbish, since lockdown I’ve had to reset my router several times a day as we keep losing signal, to the point I’ve gone out and bought my own router and I’m now using modem mode, please fix your rubbish routers!!
-
Stuart Zissman (@stu_ziss) reported from Fairlands, England@virginmedia So, after more than 25 years of Cabletel, NTL and now VM I have given up and am moving to Sky. VM customer service non existent, online support shocking and now I find I have to write a letter and post it to even cancel my contract. Feels like I’m back in the 80s
-
amy james. (@AmyJ1996) reported from Farnborough, EnglandRight who has virgin media tv someone help us
-
Matt Rose (@mattrose18) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia TV is an issue. broadband is not. Tests are always either cannot connect at this time or say there is nothing wrong. Don’t see how my kit in the house can one minute have speeds on +300Mb to next to nothing?
-
Katie Girdler (@KGirdler) reported from Guildford, England@virginmedia What a surprise still no call from you that I was promised! I can't believe this is how you treat new customers!
-
John Neilson (@flyingjok) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia Your web site is not very helpful really - apparently the fault will be rectified by 08.40 this morning. Understand technical problems arise but it’s surely much better to provide proactive updates rather than to react in receipt of complaints?
-
Natasha Gorrie (@tashaj1984) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia I have posted but not sure how a forum post will help. Can you advise of your official escalation complaint process
-
_jarl_ostensen (@psjarlo) reported from Guildford, England@virginmedia Service status is all green, which is wrong because there is known maintenance work happening. My point is that planned work should happen over night to reduce impact.
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, EnglandDear diary, day 16 of poor/zero broadband. I called @VirginMedia, joined a queue, cooked, served & ate dinner, started watching The Simpsons then after 48 minutes of Jake Bugg and some other repetitive on-hold phone entertainment, they cut me off!
-
JC (@Jamesccampbell_) reported from Farnham, Englandgot my first zoom callback coming up and I BEG my Wi-fi don’t cut out @virginmedia 😣

-
South Coast Commuter (@CS_Hants) reportedSo then @virginmedia, having escaped your contract after 18 months of poor service when will someone come to my house to remove the large ugly brown box that was fixed to my outside wall (bearing in mind it was installed without a booking or any notice at the contract start)?
-
Football Sigma (@professort15755) reported@S4mmyuk @virginmedia @DAZNBoxing The fact u paid for this **** says it all hahabab
-
Ed61 (@Ed6114) reported@virginmedia and now the screen has locked up and won’t do anything. I want to cancel my contract and go to SKY, but also want to speak to a person in the UK while doing so, no disrespect to anywhere else

Darren Coomer (@coomerdarren) reported@NaomiRedman4 @O2 @virginmedia I had this problem I put in my email address & password which I use but it failed so tried again email then clicked forgot password once I reset that and was sent a verification code once I did that I was back in maybe try that.
-
ORIGINAL GOONER JOHN (@1947originalgo1) reported@virginmedia @Trebor0501 It's absolute rubbish this stupid new box, it deletes your shows by mistake, error code keeps coming up while trying to record, and when you ring up you get someone from India who wants to know the ins and outs of Jacks arse, Grrrrr.
-
Face palm Vengance (@IsTheTruthToxic) reported@virginmedia @____LP____ My experience of being able to reach your customer service people is very bad. You routinely get transferred about, long holds, then the call gets dumped. It’s terrible, chat bots and complicated phone trees make it worse. Employ people to answer the phone and direct the call.
-
Paul ▶️ (@customerchamp1) reportedWho remembers when @O2 customer service was good? Since the merger with the appalling @virginmedia it's been absolutely diabolical. Trying to help a vulnerable relative, been on hold for 45 minutes 🤮🤮🤮 to reset his password. Shameful.
