-
Daniel Saunders (@danjsaunders) reported from Guildford, England@virginmedia Yes this was one of the first things we tried. Ended up having a repull after two engineer visits, but still not fixed the issue. How about trying a new hub?
-
Matt Rose (@mattrose18) reported from Farnborough, England@virginmedia TV is an issue. broadband is not. Tests are always either cannot connect at this time or say there is nothing wrong. Don’t see how my kit in the house can one minute have speeds on +300Mb to next to nothing?
-
©️🅰️®️🅾️ Lℹ️N📧 (@c_s_skinner) reported from Fleet, England@virginmedia your WiFi box is rubbish, we keep loosing signal. Dreadful service. Do not recommend 😡
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@SinghT2j @virginmedia It’s been down a good 3 days in the last 14 here. Otherwise it’s either slow or randomly intermittent. They really need to sort their network out, it was never this bad until 2 weeks ago.
-
Peter ***** (@hoarp001) reported from Fleet, England@virginmedia my broadband is running at 10mbps (supposed to be 200). The app has done a "scan" and it says there is a network error and check back in 24 hours. Problem is, it's still slow three days later and there appears to be no more help on offer. Now what?
-
Prof Mark Whiteley (@MarkWhiteley) reported from Guildford, England@virginmedia - absolutely hopeless !!!! Trying to cancel as moving house ... telephone line for moving off due to Covid, web chat not working, no “button” on site to press even though instructions say to press it .... impossible to contact!!!!
-
Matt Rose (@mattrose18) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia Wired and yes. Seems to have stabilised for the time being. Hopefully no more issues
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@GuseensLV @virginmedia Ah man, I’m with ya. 350MB here was fab until 16 days ago. Been “OK” today, had a relatively stable connection but it never crept over 10MB and that was if I was lucky *sigh*
-
CM40 (@CM40UK) reported from Blackwater, England@virginmedia No resolution has been offered by @virginmedia hence I have no cancelled my contract.
-
gonzo (@pears0) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia so, I've been trying for over 3 hours now to cancel my contract and absolutely no progress made so far!!! 3 hours. Surely this is a breach of ofcoms rules to make cancellation a reasonably quick and easy process!?
-
MissB (@M_Coneley) reported from Fernhurst, England@virginmedia No it’s not an end of contract discount being removed, worrying if it was since the increase is just £4., it’s for investing in service improvement. The point I was making, which seems to have been missed, is the current service keeps failing & def not close to 99% reliable
-
DimiD (@DimiD35089880) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia Promised date someone to sort external connections come and gone and still same s*****. Can’t believe 4 weeks and nobody can’t fix it. 🤔I think something is fishy @virginmedia get it sorted
-
John Neilson (@flyingjok) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia Your web site is not very helpful really - apparently the fault will be rectified by 08.40 this morning. Understand technical problems arise but it’s surely much better to provide proactive updates rather than to react in receipt of complaints?
-
John Neilson (@flyingjok) reported from Camberley, England@virginmedia Still no landline service to home and neighbour similarly. It’s been close on 24hrs - pretty irritated that there is no information coming proactively from your team to be honest but appreciate the social team’s responsiveness to my contact
-
GeraldineMcCambridge (@gerimcc) reported from Aldershot, England@virginmedia I am having problems with my mobile. I can make calls but can not send texts or access the Internet unless I use WiFi. Texts do not go through
-
John Neilson (@flyingjok) reported from Camberley, England@ralphyallen @virginmedia Let’s see how long it takes @virginmedia to respond or put something out proactively. I’m trying to call the 0345 customer service number as well as 150 but having no joy getting through.
-
Steve Jones (@fleetsaints) reported from Fleet, England@virginmedia Yes. Turned it off. Unplugged everything & put it all back in and still we get intermittent issues.
-
Rob McEwan (@robmcewan1966) reported from Finchampstead, England@virginmedia Truly astounding. I have spent hours trying to get virgin to actually carry out promises made and we’re still not there. I’ll swear the customer services reps I speak to are under so much pressure to move on to the next call they make it up as they go.
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England@Firesnapper999 @virginmedia It’s really frustrating; the third technician was brilliant, replaced everything almost like a new install and it worked great for just over a week. Now the status site says everything is good whilst a call to support says it isn’t. #Grrr
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Kyle (@daddytoatribe) reported@virginmedia If you can offer a deal to a new customer you should be able to offer the same deal for existing customers. This is why your retention rate is diabolical because the introductory offers expire and the new offer is 300% more than what they was paying. Should be illegal
-
Blain (@Blaaiin) reportedHi @virginmedia, I have been passed from pillow to post since yesterday morning and have been lied to about an appointment that was booked for someone to come to my property and repair my internet and TV services. How do I escalate this? Honestly, the service is a shambles!
-
Adam Tracey (@adamtracey8) reported@scoobiesue82 @JSSHERIFF1933 @virginmedia Has this issue been resolved for yous yet
-
🌸 🙀 Teresa Cooper (@Teresacooper) reported@virginmedia Not 2 days. The ambulance had the drama of it early hours in an emergency. I bet any money you repair it just before everyone is due compensation
-
Mark (@MarkTHFC92) reported@virginmedia Hey, is there legit an area issue in PR5 8JE? Your test page often just makes stuff up. Having issues today so want to know if its me or you
-
Jay (@Jason87r) reported@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia Contact ofcom or ombudsman as they have to show responsible attempts to fix the issue if not they need release from contract without penalty and they are also members of the telecoms auto compensation scheme so should be adding a certain amount of credit to ur bills
-
CarryOnGemma (@CarryOnGemma) reported@virginmedia this has gone beyond the pale now. You already know all the issues my dad and I have had for, well, weeks now. Dad had all his recordings deleted and now his new recordings are recording and now he’s watched part of something he can’t go back and watch it because it says the recording has failed. This has happened on every recording. It seems to record fine then changes to failed. Get this sorted and get the broadband sorted. How @Ofcom isn’t all over this I don’t know. Pushing people to take the V6 and then a year later this happens. Shocking.
-
✊️Tom✊️ (@SchecTom) reported@virginmedia had no Internet or TV since around 9pm last night. You guys fancy trying to actually fix it or?????
-
Bilgin Art (@art_bilgin) reported@ virgin #virginbroadband @VirginAtlantic Virgin media broadband 4 days without broadband from crappy Virgin. Mast down, so it takes 4 flipping days to fix it yet everything internet, business, security and entertainment is down
-
🌸 🙀 Teresa Cooper (@Teresacooper) reported@virginmedia Virgin media still down 18 hours later
