@JamesJWalsh @virginmedia I used to be a customer before moving to Lewisham and left them because I was getting about 10% of the contracted speed and they were taking months to resolve it. They ended up admitting it was oversubscription.

@JamesJWalsh @virginmedia The people on first line support are there to filter out the most obvious problems (wrong password, equipment not plugged or faulty, etc). Your goal noe is to prove that it's not your fault (device configuration, weak WiFi, etc).

@JamesJWalsh @virginmedia The router has a couple of pages that are useful, one has the logs (check the error timestamp matches when your connection went down). There is also a more technical page that shows the uplink / downlink channels, have a look and check there is some voltage on them.

@virginmedia I have checked for faults and no problems in my area at all. Can’t get ahold of anyone on the 0345 number. I’ve had this issue for a few days and I have tested the box on other TVs and it’s happening then. It’s got a buzzing noise and flashing green lines. I need a replacement.

@virginmedia Actually .... when calling 150 it says there's an issue and so I'll hold tight. The service has been brilliant for years. I think they are upgrading parts of the local network and this is causing issues.

@virginmedia Yes please. I have no Virgin media, no broadband and no phone. I am led to believe that there is a widespread breakdown of your network again. This has now gone on long enough and a problem like this should never take this long to fix. There must be single points of failure.

@virginmedia I’m now having to use my mobile data as this has been off so long, god knows what that’s going to cost me! Something else to add to my stress. Surely you can fix the cables before the 9.30pm estimate! 😩
