@virginmedia Getting a new/replacement Hub, existing one keeps turning off/resetting. Call lasted 50 mins, 6-7 mins was chatting to someone, until put on hold again. Gave up.... shocking service!!
-
Katie Girdler (@KGirdler) reported from Guildford, England
@virginmedia What a surprise still no call from you that I was promised! I can't believe this is how you treat new customers!
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia Thanks. Done that. Multiple times. And over the last 6 months. And when I was an ntl: customer. And CableTel before that. 27 years of 56k > 350Mb and now it’s totally doing my head in. Unable to work from home properly. Boss won’t be happy!
-
_jarl_ostensen (@psjarlo) reported from Guildford, England
Since so many of us are working from home it would be nice if network maintenance could be done over night, to minimise disruption...@virginmedia
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia Nope. There’s “nothing wrong” with the broadband according to the status page. Never is. It’s always the hub supposedly downloading updates. 10 weeks of this now, getting a bit bored of the lack of service TBH. This needs to be escalated.
-
stevemason (@EssarrMason) reported from Aldershot, England
@virginmedia Inadequate reply, to my mind, you contracted to supply a service, you cannot deliver that service, uou terminated the contract....perhaps YOU shoukd pay the cancellation fee!
-
Katie Girdler (@KGirdler) reported from Guildford, England
@virginmedia Spoken with someone today that has confirmed they've solved my problem. I am awaiting a confirmation email (don't hold much hope). We will see if I've been lied to AGAIN! #worstcustomerservice
-
Katie Girdler (@KGirdler) reported from Guildford, England
@virginmedia brand new customer coming from sky (after bad service) and received awful customer service from you! I certainly will not be recommending virgin media.
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia Thanks. Engineer showed up, plugged in a new Hub 3, “fixed” my BB & WiFi and, 3 hours later, it’s still not working. Can I 1) file a complaint and 2) get a guarantee that this will be fixed for once and for all.
-
GoldyMcGoldface (@Goldy73) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia The fact you have even done it without telling anyone is a shocking customer service move, especially in this day and age where a lot of people are working from home. Absolutely disgusting service I don't care how long it will take, I need to know of you plan to take it down so
-
Martyn Jones (@TheonlyJonesy) reported from Fleet, England
@virginmedia don’t worry about supplying a service that I can use to work from home, I’d much rather leave the house in a pandemic to access stable broadband...!!!
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
Dear @VirginMedia, after 3x visits from technicians over 6 months (one of whom LIED about fixing bb/WiFi) I’m now back to no service (48 hours). Yes, tried rebooting, off/on etc, status says everything OK, Called yesterday and there IS an issue. When are you going to fix it?
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia Yep. Wired isn’t working either. I have no broadband, no WiFi, no service. Been like this since Saturday and intermittent since Jan/Feb.
-
Julian Hull (@JulianHull) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia having problems with internet in GU14. Will this be resolved soon
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
‘ere, @VirginMedia, it’s been a full month now of totally unreliable service at my house; 5 engineers later, with the last call to 0345 454 111 on Friday saying you KNOW there’s a problem and it WILL be fixed in 24 hours. I called bullshit. I was right. Sort this out!!!
-
Callum Penny (@callum_penny) reported from Fleet, England
@virginmedia no WiFi for the past 4 hours now… have ran tests to solve issues. Says service is fine in area again now but still nothing? Gu52 area code
-
_jarl_ostensen (@psjarlo) reported from Guildford, England
@virginmedia Service status is all green, which is wrong because there is known maintenance work happening. My point is that planned work should happen over night to reduce impact.
-
Alex Turton (@woodyturts) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia hey, it’s been slow going on broadband in GU14 since Tuesday.
-
Natasha Gorrie (@tashaj1984) reported from Farnborough, England
@virginmedia I have posted but not sure how a forum post will help. Can you advise of your official escalation complaint process
-
Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England
@Firesnapper999 @virginmedia It’s really frustrating; the third technician was brilliant, replaced everything almost like a new install and it worked great for just over a week. Now the status site says everything is good whilst a call to support says it isn’t. #Grrr

@VirginMediaIE @virginmedia Hi Monica! Blanchardstown Village. My colleague is attempting to connect with customer support on the telephone. The white light was still flashing when we came in this morning.
-
PCH (@pholmes38) reported
@virginmedia Surely I can't be relying on customers to fix a Virgin proprietary app. And if Virgin technical staff are on there, why can't they just look into resolving it based on the information on the faults I have posted above? Why should I have to duplicate the information?
-
maria (@ESEOFLARE) reported
@virginmedia it says that there are no known issues.
-
Mia Tjim (@xiaomiaa) reported

-
N16Breda #VaccinesWork (@N16Breda) reported
@virginmedia Mmmm, afraid not John. 150 First line support transferred me to the Faults teams to check status of my ticket - and their line was engaged. I appreciate this is outside the scope of VM soc med team but the whole situation is Kafkaesque. I'll be venting here until it's fixed...
