  • ninepine Mike Fuller (@ninepine) reported from Banstead, England

@virginmedia So what exactly is the issue? Details not platitudes please.

  • pmross Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England

@Firesnapper999 @virginmedia It’s really frustrating; the third technician was brilliant, replaced everything almost like a new install and it worked great for just over a week. Now the status site says everything is good whilst a call to support says it isn’t. #Grrr

  • KGirdler Katie Girdler (@KGirdler) reported from Guildford, England

@virginmedia Spoken with someone today that has confirmed they've solved my problem. I am awaiting a confirmation email (don't hold much hope). We will see if I've been lied to AGAIN! #worstcustomerservice

  • ninepine Mike Fuller (@ninepine) reported from Banstead, England

.@virginmedia have given up trying to retain dissatisfied customers. Their staff can no longer fulfil their offer to waive the price increase for 6 months because "the system won't let me" #rogueAI Madness when customer retention is defeated by the programmers. Please fix this.

  • pmross Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia Thanks. Done that. Multiple times. And over the last 6 months. And when I was an ntl: customer. And CableTel before that. 27 years of 56k > 350Mb and now it’s totally doing my head in. Unable to work from home properly. Boss won’t be happy!

  • KGirdler Katie Girdler (@KGirdler) reported from Guildford, England

@virginmedia brand new customer coming from sky (after bad service) and received awful customer service from you! I certainly will not be recommending virgin media.

  • psjarlo _jarl_ostensen (@psjarlo) reported from Guildford, England

Since so many of us are working from home it would be nice if network maintenance could be done over night, to minimise disruption...@virginmedia

  • wearliegig Wendy Earle (@wearliegig) reported from Guildford, England

@virginmedia Appalling customer service! Im@trying to report the death of an account holder and can find no way of getting through. Waited on the phone line so long that it eventually went dead on me.

  • pmross Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England

‘ere, @VirginMedia, it’s been a full month now of totally unreliable service at my house; 5 engineers later, with the last call to 0345 454 111 on Friday saying you KNOW there’s a problem and it WILL be fixed in 24 hours. I called bullshit. I was right. Sort this out!!!

  • KGirdler Katie Girdler (@KGirdler) reported from Guildford, England

@virginmedia What a surprise still no call from you that I was promised! I can't believe this is how you treat new customers!

  • ChavdogEvans Daniel Evans (@ChavdogEvans) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia my wifi seem to keep dropping out is there issues with it at the moment

  • pmross Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia Nope. There’s “nothing wrong” with the broadband according to the status page. Never is. It’s always the hub supposedly downloading updates. 10 weeks of this now, getting a bit bored of the lack of service TBH. This needs to be escalated.

  • pmross Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia Yep. Wired isn’t working either. I have no broadband, no WiFi, no service. Been like this since Saturday and intermittent since Jan/Feb.

  • psjarlo _jarl_ostensen (@psjarlo) reported from Guildford, England

@virginmedia Service status is all green, which is wrong because there is known maintenance work happening. My point is that planned work should happen over night to reduce impact.

  • vserafino19 Vito Serafino (@vserafino19) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia @tandcbroking Either a lot of people are checking the service status on the website or that site also not working. Cheers

  • Goldy73 GoldyMcGoldface (@Goldy73) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia The fact you have even done it without telling anyone is a shocking customer service move, especially in this day and age where a lot of people are working from home. Absolutely disgusting service I don't care how long it will take, I need to know of you plan to take it down so

  • pmross Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia Thanks. Engineer showed up, plugged in a new Hub 3, “fixed” my BB & WiFi and, 3 hours later, it’s still not working. Can I 1) file a complaint and 2) get a guarantee that this will be fixed for once and for all.

  • LewisFFC17 Lewis H (@LewisFFC17) reported from Leatherhead, England

@virginhelp is there a reason my virgin media is down in the leatherhead area?

  • WashedBatch Nick Batch (@WashedBatch) reported from Guildford, England

Does anyone know a broadband provider which does same day setup Or fast setup? Virgin media keep letting me down with it and have useless support…

  • pmross Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England

Dear @VirginMedia, after 3x visits from technicians over 6 months (one of whom LIED about fixing bb/WiFi) I’m now back to no service (48 hours). Yes, tried rebooting, off/on etc, status says everything OK, Called yesterday and there IS an issue. When are you going to fix it?

@virginmedia can’t watch tv properly now in Bromley , makes a change from having broadband issues I suppose but I get a bit fed up when I pay a lot every month for this service. What is going on and why does it always take so very long to fix????

  • inflamer86 jakub j (@inflamer86) reported

@virginmedia When calling the bot says the engineers working on it, but when I check status through the link sent on my mobile it says "no known issues". No idea what's going on here.

  • TLPHasnainDar Hasnain. (@TLPHasnainDar) reported

@virginmedia WiFi speed in certain rooms is extremely slow and no where near the speed promised.

  • AndrewAnthonyR2 Andrew Anthony R. (@AndrewAnthonyR2) reported

@virginmedia is there a fix to the blurring, lagging and skipping when streaming @stadia? Had installation on Monday but the game streaming stability is awful despite taking the 350mb had no problems problems with BT's 67mbps.

  • BendyBill NDBILL. Getting angrier by the day. (@BendyBill) reported

So we are now told there was no agreement to replace our TiVo so we waited in all day got nothing now they have put me back in the queue as they have gone off shift. Luckily I kept a copy. Customer service at virgin is pathetic. @virginmedia

  • Blikdot leighton blake (@Blikdot) reported

@virginmedia Why can't I open port 44158 on my hub?? Spent 50 mins on a call from my mobi trying to get tour Techs to help only to gave them hang up on Me. Horrid service.

  • zoeamason Zoe Mason (@zoeamason) reported

@virginmedia We’ve done all the diagnostics, we’ve done all the remote support “fixes” that don’t fix. We need an engineer asap - or just for whoever fixed the local issue this morn to undo whatever change he did in the exchange box that reverted us to these issues

  • wwfc_dave Dave (@wwfc_dave) reported

And so after 20+ yrs with @virginmedia I am finally moving. Price hikes too often and at the critical time when they finally have serious gigabit competition, their CS turns to absolute ****. I've defended them for years on social media but alas, I'm off.

  • LouLou_No_72 Lou ❤️Lou 💚 (@LouLou_No_72) reported

@virginmedia Aiming to get an engineer out ASAP but the ETA for a fix is 12 hours ….. so yes there is frustration because people pay a lot yet the oncall doesn’t seem to be in place ?
