  • ItsKatieC0mpt0n 凱蒂 (@ItsKatieC0mpt0n) reported from Epsom and Ewell District, England

@virginmedia 3 weeks after you drill through my pipe & send cowboy plumbers out I still haven’t heard anything! I filled a complaint 2 weeks ago and no response. If you think I am paying my bill this month you can jog on. Absolute terrible customer service

  • kaybaka Kay Bak (@kaybaka) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia Yeah?! I hope you can resolve and repay the works and fees I’ve missed as well because of lack of internet on both my mobile network and internet because of @O2 and #virginmediadown

  • kaybaka Kay Bak (@kaybaka) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia And what’s so annoying is that for some reasons it’s seems to be affecting my mobile network because even though I’m not connected to the wifi @O2 doesn’t works in the house and I’d need to leave the house and move further down street for the #O2 network to work and reply!

  • louisemirwitch Louise Mirwitch (@louisemirwitch) reported from Hounslow, England

@virginmedia My husband has had no email since 15.11 today. Nothing on phone or tablet. Mine is ok. All he gets is a box asking to sign in which pops up repeatedly. No webmail access and can’t set him up on my device. Help

  • SOCYearwood Son of Carl 🇧🇧🇯🇲✊🏾💙 (@SOCYearwood) reported from Harrow Weald, England

@Hyperoptic #10YearsOfHyperoptic Virginmedia and BT couldn't provide a reliable service. Hyperoptic could.

  • drewerydyke Drewery **** (@drewerydyke) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia That is the box that appears *after* clicking to register loss of service. See top line:”problem registering loss of service”. System apparently designed to avoid and flaws being found in it. Old capitalist adage:”the provider is always right”😜😎

  • kaybaka Kay Bak (@kaybaka) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia VM I’ve not had any internet for 24hrs now!!! I can’t get access to a customer service rep on here who actually do something about it and all I’ve had it a BOT on repeat on WhatsApp!! Can you sort this issue out!? It’s 24hrs now!!

  • damienk11 Damien Kelly (@damienk11) reported from London, England

@virginmedia broadband service in Greenwich London is shocking, hasn't been working for 1 week now and when I've rang customer services multiple times, all they try to do is up-sell me on their other more expensive packages. Terror to think we pay for this service!!!!

  • kaybaka Kay Bak (@kaybaka) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia what’s going on??? I don’t have any internet since morning? And it’s affecting my mobile phone in the house!! I had to leave the house to use mobile network to work! Rubbish service! That’s the problem when 2 service providers - O2 & VM joins force! #virginmediadown

  • shaspi Sharon Spiteri (@shaspi) reported from Tottenham, England

@virginmedia There’s a problem in the area apparently which is due to be fixed by 3pm. Thanks for checking.

  • drewerydyke Drewery **** (@drewerydyke) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia I called to register the fault but that is not an option that is available. So Virgin recognises a fault; customer just cannot register it. Flawed, no? #virginmediadown No wonder #VirginGalactic can thrive. Clever.

  • drewerydyke Drewery **** (@drewerydyke) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia Tx. What is reason for London N16 collapse of service? Your team must know that it exemplifies routine unreliability & less-than-promised bandwidth; calls into question willingness / ability to deliver service. Time to switch?

  • ChaTheGrace Charlene, RN 🌻 (@ChaTheGrace) reported from Tottenham, England

@talk2GLOBE really? even if I am here in London and my service provider is VirginMedia? Lasing ka o bangag?

  • kaybaka Kay Bak (@kaybaka) reported from Camberwell, England

@O2 Yes, the wifi isn’t working due to technical issues with @virginmedia and I need to leave the house for @O2 to work.

  • kaybaka Kay Bak (@kaybaka) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia Pls don’t take this personally but honestly it should be in your policy that customers reps should read treads before relying!! I’ve mentioned before - I’m deaf! I CANNOT make phone calls! That’s why that stupid BOT robot is demeaning and frustrating for ppl with limitations!

  • Dee03616 Dee_dee03616 (@Dee03616) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia I seem to be having very slow connection?

  • kaybaka Kay Bak (@kaybaka) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia I have NO INTERNET NOW FOR OVER 36hrs!!! VM you’ve been promising to sort it!!! What a freaking useless network provider!! It’s a joke! I’m sure your competitors are laughing right now!

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • SianJones9814 Sian Jones (@SianJones9814) reported

@virginmedia No I have been through to every department possible including complaints who offered to cancel my account! They have run tests and say everything is fine. I’ve downloaded connect & it tells me the signal is great in all rooms. But it hardly works away from the hub.

    @tbradman @virginmedia @tbradman Their service is... awful!!!

  • ZeldaHughes Zelda Hughes (@ZeldaHughes) reported

After 7 months of tortuously bad service from Virgin Media, I'm finally free of them. It says everything that 7 weeks after I arranged my disconnection, I've only just received the email they sent on Dec 11th to confirm they were d'connecting me. How are they still functioning...

  • Saralimback Sara Venn (@Saralimback) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia No someone has deleted it overnight after saying they could help via DM. This is appalling behaviour-it was whoever was tweeting yesterday.

  • pbw1000 Penny Wilson (@pbw1000) reported

@virginmedia No internet, or only intermittent flashes of internet here in Cambridge CB4. Known problem apparently, fix was expected last night, now noon. When, really?

  • cpickford72 Chris Pickford (@cpickford72) reported

@virginmedia yesterday I received a new virgin hub 3 by post. Not sure why as I never ordered one. Tried getting in touch by phone and online but to no avail. What should I do with it?

  • MissTraceyK Tracey Kowalczyk (@MissTraceyK) reported

@virginmedia I eventually got through for a lady to say she would call me back as her system was down and she still hasn’t 3 days later appalling service for the amount of money I pay

  • beckyhook0 Becky hook (@beckyhook0) reported

@virginmedia Still not great finally got through to someone but apparently there’s a password on the account, which we have never set and can’t change online because we don’t have access to the email you created, I now have to wait for that in the post and then try and get through again!

  • rabzfit Raheem Sterling-Parker (@rabzfit) reported

@virginmedia we need to have a word mate, £55 a month for a bunch of bollocks. This super fibre business ain’t super fibre it’s coming like no fibre ta rass. And to top it off you lot never answer your phone. Na Rasta

  • chintz35 Peter Daniels (@chintz35) reported

Okay @virginmedia, so you say you're improving our service which is why broadband is off "for a short while" - and it should be back by 4pm (it's 9am now). If this is to improve service why do we get no warning? Do I even believe you?
