Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Acton, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Acton and nearby locations:

  • aliciaverbs Alicia Carney (@aliciaverbs) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Looping this conversation back into noisy, bottomless support channels and forums isn't gonna cut it. I am fed up from wasting my time waiting on hold for 45-90 minutes only to be told "we've already told you engineers are coming, bye." This is infuriating.

  • Besawyer Besawyer (@Besawyer) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Provide a more reliable service and a time machine

  • Anthony_Lonres Anthony Payne (@Anthony_Lonres) reported from Kensington, England

@virginmedia Your online status reports no faults but as I said in the thread, I have called your support centre at least 10 times & they confirm there is a fault which has been the case since the 2nd of March. I am assured, every time I call, that it will be fixed within 7 days. It never is

  • Besawyer Besawyer (@Besawyer) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Considering I’ve experienced multiple internet and TV issues over the last few weeks (whilst trying to work from home) it would be appreciated to see some compensation on next months bill

  • Dante_Banks Danté Banks (@Dante_Banks) reported from Tottenham, England

@Simon_Shell @virginmedia And you won't. They are, without doubt, the worst company/customer service in existence.

  • george_hut Porgie (@george_hut) reported from Islington, England

WTF @virginmedia ?!? You sent the router box sealed and the connector cables is missing! Appalling customer service, waiting over 1h to talk to someone 🤢

  • Anthony_Lonres Anthony Payne (@Anthony_Lonres) reported from Kensington, England

To all my friends who recommended @virginmedia please don’t contact me again. They are without doubt the worst company I have had the misfortune of being a customer to. If you’re considering them. Don’t.

  • hasnat2002 Hasnat Ahmed (@hasnat2002) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia Is there a broadband internet problem in the W5 1JG area. We have been having problems since yesterday (7th May). Working from home is being disrupted as well remote school learning for imminent A-level assessment

  • RayBarber21 Raymond Barber (@RayBarber21) reported from Wandsworth, England

@virginmedia every weekend, without fail, 5 minutes before the GP, your rubbish internet stops working. Why?

  • djsantero Santero, human ambassador to ducks (@djsantero) reported from Camberwell, England

@DJLKP @virginmedia Jaysus, that is terrible. Was considering Virgin for my new flat, not sure now...

  • aliciaverbs Alicia Carney (@aliciaverbs) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Yeah, there are outages. Every single day. I can't remember a day WITHOUT an outage. The only reliable part of my wifi is that my colleagues expect it to be painful talking with me. It's embarrassing. Contract ends in October. You're gonna charge me £250 to leave. I've tried.

  • Besawyer Besawyer (@Besawyer) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia you have less than 20 minutes it get the service back up and running or it’s contract cancel time #LineOfDuty

  • JunaidJuned86 Torbaf (@JunaidJuned86) reported from Harrow Weald, England

@virginmedia I purchased a 1 day WiFi pass to use on the underground. It doesn’t seem to work and when I phone customer service they don’t know how it operates. Can you help me with this or refund me my money? #virginemediawifipass #tfl #freewifi

  • whoiskatrin Kate (@whoiskatrin) reported from Islington, England

@aliciaverbs @virginmedia I’m similarly pissed with Sky, didn’t have internet in North London the whole day yesterday. Such a **** show

  • PactzLdn P_R£NZÉL (@PactzLdn) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia outage🙃, they best reimburse my data as im trying to finish it till this issue is resolved 🤔

  • aliciaverbs Alicia Carney (@aliciaverbs) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia There's always engineering work. It resolves a drop in the bucket when there are reported outages every. Single. Day. Not being hyperbolic. We were told we need to call and document every issue. So we do. Every day the automated message says engineers are coming. It's a joke.

  • Besawyer Besawyer (@Besawyer) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia are you actually kidding?? Service down for #LineofDutyFinale (and not going to be fixed until the 5th May)

  • agustin Agustin Pesciallo #WearAMask (@agustin) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia Yes, I have done everything its suggested. It says the connection it's ok, but i cannot have a proper vc since the very beginning after installation. I had virgin broadband for two years in another home and it was fantastic but this time it's not working. Please help.

  • derekcburgess DEREK BURGESS (@derekcburgess) reported from Walthamstow, England

******* typical. Self isolating & my @virginmedia Internet & TV have gone down due to some issue in the area. Had just started working my way through season 8 of #SilentWitness.

  • Mbilla_Arts Mbilla Arts (@Mbilla_Arts) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia There was a fault- already checked. Need to know why this keeps happening - paying £63 a month for a service that hardly ever works!

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • SDCForeverMe SDC1 (@SDCForeverMe) reported

@virginmedia Hows about this,in blue sky thinking. Why not pause investment knowing your customers can’t afford it. Shareholders want their money, customer don’t get wage increases and all their services, food, insurance, basics have gone up.staying in saves money so VM are scum for this raise

  • udubaap Abhay Vaidya (@udubaap) reported

@virginmedia I couldn’t wait indefinitely for your support team. Went off after abt 15 min or so. Problem resolved after abt 6 hrs. Missed some impt work / emails etc. Not happy

  • robthefoodie The Write Taste (@robthefoodie) reported

@virginmedia Ok but can you confirm that you realise this is about compensation for the loss of phone landline and the appaling lack of customer service and not for a broadband issue?

  • Tretops51 T (@Tretops51) reported

@virginmedia How do I cancel? I’ve gone with BT as they actually know how to deliver customer service!

  • robthefoodie The Write Taste (@robthefoodie) reported

@virginmedia I phoned VM and they were unable to confirm any compensation. I'm not sure anyone at VM understands, yet it's such a simple query. How are you able to help further? If you understand the issue you can contact me Friday at 10am

  • spandya1 Sandeep Pandya (@spandya1) reported from Croxley Green, England

@virginmedia An engineer came today. Issue resolved. If you remember I told you that it was highly probable that work being performed at a cabinet on our street may have resulted in our issue. I also told your telephone support team. That’s exactly what had happened. Appalling service.

  • SirMrRealityMan Liam B (@SirMrRealityMan) reported

@virginmedia There's issues with broadband, but it's referring to mail, which seems there's no issues with the internet connection itself from what the information is giving me

  • CoolHandLuke_82 Luke 🇬🇧 (@CoolHandLuke_82) reported

@jane_2504 @virginmedia Cancel and wait for retentions to call..

  • edgie13 Andy Edge (@edgie13) reported

@virginmedia I contact Virgin Business Tuesday and again was told an email would be sent to the sales team and a manager and they would contact me in 24/48hrs. It will be 48hrs at 9am tomorrow and still nothing. I'm having to hotspot my phone which is not ideal. I just want a solution

  • PaulhB74 Paul H B (@PaulhB74) reported

@virginmedia The status page shows no errors on my area I sent you the picture of my hub page because the loss of signal is obviously the problem
